Ultimate shoulder rides

At a night club or party, is it usually the girl who asks to sit on the guy's shoulders, or is it usually the guy who asks the girl? Just curious.

edit: I'm usually the one having to initiate getting the girl on my shoulders. Is this the case for you too, or the other way around?

Or even more general, if you have a girlfriend/wife who sits on your shoulders, who usually has to initiate it?
