Because I have a more assertive or perhaps dominant personality  I have to  admit  to having  a  personal preference  for the  concept of  male carriers.   As I  already  stated,  I  don't  pursue this activity very  often    and I   prefer  deference from men in  virtually all  aspects of  my  life.  As such, I simply  prefer to think of a man in the  role  of carrier,  serving as  a beast of  burden.

I would be the  last person to imply  that  a woman  shouldn't pursue any activity  she chooses  in  whatever role she  might choose.  Yet  my personal prejudice toward seeing  a  woman  being served  by a  man rather than serving  a man  very likely  effects  my view on  some subjects.
Also,  as I  said, I believe I  would be  inclined to feel more empathy  toward the  exertion of another woman  if I were sitting on her  back  which  would effect  my  enjoyment of the activity.
I  feel  very little for a  man in the same  position  and  based on  my  limited experience to date,  I  feel less  empathy  for him over time  rather  than more.  I  would  certainly  ride  your back or shoulders  if the opportunity presented  itself and  of course you wanted me to. But  I can't  help   my  general feeling on the subject.

I have seen videos of men and women  using arm  stilts  as you  described. I  found the  arrangement of  supporting the weight on  the persons  forearms  as well as the hands  rather interesting.
The  most  detailed view was  rather  fetish oriented  with  a  girl rather immodestly attired  with  her  back level and her  lower back sagging slightly,  which I  assumed  would  be  where  the rider would  be sitting. I  can  only  guess  at the practicality of such an  arrangement during an  actual pony ride with  someone sitting on her.  Obviously  I  don't know  but  while it might be  comfortable for the rider,  it didn't  strike  me as  very  stable.

Your comments are interesting Audreyb. You have a dominant personality if you prefer a man in the role of carrier, and think of him as a beast of burden. You said you would not feel empathy toward the exertion of the carrier if the carrier is a man, and you were sitting on him and feel less empathy for him over time rather than more... interesting...

I thought if for example, I carry you, You would not feel any emphaty for me at the beginning, because we are not friends, but over time maybe.

I probably would feel like a beast or animal during the ride. But if it helps to make the ride more enjoyable for you. Then it is ok.

thanks

I saw several of  these people  that  looked  strong enough to carry  me .  I'm  not  certain that those I saw  could have carried the  gentleman who  suggested  this  possibility because he was on the heavy  side . I  could  sympathize with him  because he was  not  very  fit  and was having trouble keeping up  in  the heat of the day.

But in  regard  to the potential carriers, I would  see them  as I  would any of  my  employees  and expect  them  to perform  the  task they were  hired  for.   If they  accept this employment ,  any problem  they have in performing it  is  their  problem.   As you  suggested, if  he struggles with  the  burden of  my weight  (or  yours ) it  really  makes  no  difference in  regard  to  his difficulty  if  you were  to find some  enjoyment or  satisfaction in  his  difficulty.  You  would weigh  the  same  when  sitting on  him  whether  you enjoyed  his struggles or felt  empathy.   My  gay friend who I mentioned has expressed similar sentiments (as  yours)in  regard  to shoulder and pony riding on  his submissives . His  carriers are of course  voluntary and endure his  use of  them of their own  accord.  I  can't see  any  reason why you  shouldn't enjoy  every  aspect of what you  pay  for.
My  concern  at the time  was  my feet  of course  but if  I  found some  pleasure  in the discomfort  my  weight  was causing  my  carrier to endure,  it  really wouldn't matter.

Hi Audreyb

I think You are a nice person, Audreyb. You always answer my comments. I would carry You for free Audreyb. You do not need to pay me money. And you can see me as any of  your employees and expect me to perform the task (I said I carry You for free Audreyb, I do not want your money).
I agree what you said: "If they accept this employment, any problem  they have in performing it is their problem. As you  suggested, if he  struggles with  the  burden of  my weight (or yours) it really makes no difference in regard to his difficulty if you were to find some enjoyment or satisfaction in his difficulty."
If I accept the task of carry You, Audreyb, I think I would not have any problem to carry you. If I had, it would be my problem. You must focus only in your ride.

I  have  never  considered what  an  "ideal  carrier"  would  be  but  in  my  limited  experience I  will  try .   First  he would be  obedient in  all matters , addressing  me with  respect when  he speaks and only  speaking when he  is spoken  to or  when  necessary  to  serve his  rider.
He would lower  himself to  a  position where I could sit down  comfortably on his shoulders  and  lift me  carefully if  he is  capable. If  he  isn't strong enough  he  might sit on  something and stand once  I have sat on his shoulders .  In  either case  his  hands should  only  touch  me to insure  my  safety when  he  stands  upright.  He should  hunch his  back  and  keep  his head down  so  that I  can sit  properly   with  my  bottom  supported as  much  as his shoulder can  support it.
He should carry  me  at the  pace  that  I  prefer and as  long as  his  physicality will  allow  in ensuring  that  he  wouldn't  fall  beneath  me.  He  should  trust  that  I will know  when  it's  time for him  to  rest,  but  I  think  some hand signal  such  as tapping  my  knee would  be allowable, assuming  it was agreed  upon in  advance.  If it  is  a  fetish  for  him,  to  be another's  beast of  burden, he  should  never even  hint that  his  desires exceed  mine. He  must  maintain  his  demeanor  as  an  underling,  as if  his purpose is  exclusively to  serve.

Audreyb:

You said you do not ride peple often, but you have the right insticts of a rider. You know what you want of a carrier.

I agree in what you said.

If I carry you, I would be obedient and respectful to you.
And I would never touch you in a way that make you feel bad, I would only touch you to insure your safety (the most important thing in the ride would be your comfort and safety)

I like when you said "He should carry  me  at the  pace  that  I  prefer and as  long as  his  physicality will  allow  in ensuring  that  he  wouldn't  fall  beneath  me."

If I carry You. I would try to carry you at the pace you wanted and not to fall (because I would not want you get injured)

And it is interesting that you said: "He  should  trust  that  I will know  when  it's  time for him  to  rest"

It means if I carry You, when the time to rest is, would not be my choice. It would be yours. It is really interesting the way you think. I like your comments.

Re: Opinions please.

brad's shoulders:

I  hope I'm  saying this  right and  not offending  anyone in  my  views  on this  subject because  that is  not  my intention .

I see the position of  the willing  adult  rider and carrier as dominant and  submissive  and for  want  of a better term,  a  "bullying" situation, carried out more or less  consensually by   both  parties.
In that  satisfaction is achieved  by  both parties  according to  their  positions  and conceptualization  ,I  see  nothing involved as  harmful  assuming  no one is deliberately injured.
In  such  situation  the phrase  "cruel  to  be  kind"  may  very  well apply.

Also,  a  given  submissive of any  stripe  may submit  to  a  master/mistress  in performing a task that  doesn't  specifically appeal to the submissive exclusively to  serve the  master's  desires  or amusement.  I think  that in  such  cases  some  dominants  may  take pleasure  from  being  served by  a  submissives  discomfort. This  may  have  been  the  case  when  my  friend  had  his gay  misogynistic  submissive  carrying  me. I  also  had the  impression that  the man carrying  my  friend was a  willing  submissive  but  not specifically a willing  carrier. This  impression  made  my  friend's domination of  him,  sitting on  him with  such  arrogance  rather  more exciting  to  witness.
I  think I would enjoy having  a submissive carrier  serving  me  by  carrying my  friend or  another  man entirely out of  obedience to  my desires.

Re: Opinions please.

Audreyb,Tell me,in the light of your riding expertise, when you mount your carrier, how long is it before you can tell the type of mount that you are on. Willing and submissive, reluctant or just unwilling and mean. How would you cope with the three different types?.

Lets have more personal info please

Re: Opinions please.

mastadon777:

I  would not apply  "expertise"  to myself on this subject as I am not  an  expert and  I'm still  basically  exploring  the  options and the subject.  If  I have  any  expertise  at  all it's  in  regard  to  human behavior  and  based exclusively on my experiences  and  my feelings,  which I am often  in  a  quagmire in  sorting out.  However,  I  will attempt to  answer  your questions  as I am  sorting  them out  concerning my own  feelings.

Obviously I can't  force anyone to  do  anything completely  against  the  person's will. A  person  who  submits  to  my desire would  have to  be  motivated to  do  so out of  his  own desire for  some aspect of a  reward of some  kind or his  perception of such a  reward.   In the  case of the man  who  carried me  on those two occasions,  his  reward  was  to remain in the  company of  my friend who  put  him  to  the  task of carrying me.   For my part,  half way  through the  first ride and  entirely through the second  ride, I was semi-indifferent to  his feelings  at all.  He  was  the  carrier and I  was  the rider  and  I considered it  to be  very  much the  same as one  might feel in  riding a  horse . One doesn't  concern themselves  about what  a  horse  might  want or  prefer  when  you're sitting on  him and it  doesn't  matter if he resents you or would prefer someone else sitting on him. The  reward  for the  horse is that he is given  food and shelter of course and  the  reward  for the  human  carrier is  whatever is  involved  in  the  relationship that  put  him  into  the  position  as a  carrier.

A reluctant carrier ,  as in  someone who chooses to  serve  you,  but  not specifically as a  carrier is  much the same. He  would be  free to  choose to  not  serve  at all and  accept the  consequences of  that  choice. I  might  take his choices and limitations into  account  but  if  his  desire is  to  serve  me   than  obviously  my  desires  must  supersede his.

A  willing  carrier  who chooses to  serve me  in this manner would be in the same  position  but  I think I  should expect more  from  him.  His  motivation to  serve in this  specific manner  implies that I have  the right to  expect his  best efforts in the task.    It also implies  that  his submission to  my  desires  should be  as close to  absolute as  circumstances and his willingness to  serve  would allow.
As  such    this  is  the relationship with  the  carrier that I may  put  to the  test  and task of  carrying someone he  might prefer  not to  carry. His  submission to  the rider would be  an  extension of his  obedience and submission  to  me and  my  desires.
I  hope that this answers  your  questions.

Audrey b:

I remember you saying you seem to witness a thick woman sitting on the shoulders of a thinner man pretty often.  Have you noticed anymore encounters like this lately?  I'm still dying to carry a woman who is taller than me or weighs more than me, any advice?

Re: Opinions please.

guero:

As I  explained,  I have  no expertise on the subject  and my opinions are based on my feelings and experiences regarding dominant and submissive relationships in general.

I  have had  several plus-sized  friends  (ladies)  who  have remarked  or expressed a desire to sit or  right on  a  man's shoulders ,  either as a  momentary desire  such  as saying "I  wish someone could  lift me  like  that" upon seeing a girl on  a  man's  shoulders at a  concert,  or a wistful  remark concerning a  specific  man the lady  found attractive.
Some  larger  ladies  are very  conscious of their  size and  weight and wouldn't  want to suffer the  embarrassment  of having a  man  fail  to  lift  her  and  some may be quite  uncomfortable with  being  lifted  on  a  man's shoulders out  of a  fear of falling.

But  there are some women  like  my neighbor  who  has  become quite comfortable with  her size,  having been  exposed to a  number of  men  who are  specifically attracted to plus sized women.
She seems  to  find it  rather entertaining to sit  on a man who has difficulty with her weight and  men  who  try and fail to lift her.
I  also  know a few  ladies who would be quite indifferent  to a man's physical  ability or  size  and simply  disdainful of a man who had difficulty with  her weight.

My only  advice and thoughts on the matter  concerning  a  man  who wants  to lift or  carry  a  larger woman  is  that he  make her feel  comfortable with  the  idea.  Invite  her to  sit on his  lap    and perhaps  work  up  to the subject  of carrying her piggyback or on  all  fours.  She  may  be  open  to  either as  a momentary amusement.  Obviously if  the  relationship  is an intimate one, broaching  such  subjects  is easier.  Women like to  feel  accepted and desired  and are  much  more  open  to such things when a man makes her  feel  that she is.

Re: Opinions please.

Audrey,

Just a quick reply to this sentence you posted: "I think I would enjoy having a submissive carrier serving me by carrying my friend or another man entirely out of obedience to my desires."

I would love to be that carrier. Spring is here... Why don't we make it happen? Please email me on bradshoulders@mail.com
