Ultimate shoulder rides

So me and my friend Kristi will often hang out and we like taking pictures, well sometimes we'll take pictures in the mirror. And sometimes I'll pick her up on my shoulders and take pictures that way. Now I've noticed this is tricky because you have the camera pointing at the mirror,  so you're taking a picture of your reflection. So in order to make it look like you're looking at the camera you have to look at the lens of the camera through the mirror and still take the picture. Taking a picture with Kristi on my shoulders is even trickier because not only am I trying  to make eye contact with the lens, I have to alook have her try to look into the lens of the camera through the mirror as well. I'd anyone got any advice or input?
