Re: Diana

The Discoveries (16)

Galatea looked at Diana gently, yet with a steady gleam in her eyes:
"You will, but we are currently miles apart."

Diana nodded, understanding the reality of the situation, but also the strength of her intention:
"I know," she said. "Distance doesn't matter. My will, my control, and my presence will reach him, even from here."

Galatea smiled, recognizing the certainty and power emanating from Diana:
"Exactly. Do not underestimate your fire, sister. What you decide clearly and carefully, even from a distance, leaves a mark."

Diana looked down at her high heels, imagining how every movement, every touch she would one day make on Charles, would be guided by her intention and awareness, without depending on physical proximity.
"Then I will wait for the right moment," Diana murmured. "Every mark I leave will be precise, conscious, and protective."

Galatea nodded, letting Diana feel the connection between distance and control: a reminder that true power doesn't always need proximity to manifest.

Galatea looked at Diana, both serious and gentle:
"Now that we've talked at length... who is to blame for the accident?"

Diana tilted her head thoughtfully, looking at her high heels and recalling every moment that had preceded the event. She remembered the evening light passing through the window, illuminating the metallic shine of her boots.
"It was me," she finally said. "Although Vanessa hinted and provoked it with her words, every movement I made, every footprint I left, my smile toward Carlos before the accident came from within me. The accident happened because I had the intention, even if I wasn't fully aware of the risk."

Galatea nodded, acknowledging Diana's sincerity.
"So, Sister," she continued, "it's not the fault of others; It's yours by action, and also yours by learning. Responsibility and power go hand in hand.

Diana took a deep breath, accepting the lesson:
"Yes. I must learn to master my game, my will, and my power. Intention is powerful, but conscience must always guide it."

Galatea smiled, satisfied:
"Exactly. And remember, it's not just guilt or error; it's also a path to mastery over yourself and what you can control."

Diana lowered her gaze, resting after the accident, and thought about how to protect him and guide his power, ensuring that every step, every future movement, was safe and conscious.

Galatea looked at Diana firmly and calmly:
"We've all been affected, and Vanessa was injured. You even suggested that you ride her home, but it was two men you rode on their shoulders." I can't send them home because of the marks left by the reins, the whip, and the spurs.

Galatea looked at Diana with an analytical and protective gaze:
"Look at the consequences of your power," she said. The marks of the reins were visible on the mouths and faces of the two men; the whip left marks on their backs, and the spurs on their flanks.

Diana watched, aware that each mark was a tangible reflection of her authority and the intensity of the magical ride.

Galatea continued, in a reassuring tone:
"Don't worry. I will heal and cover them. No one will notice, not even the men's wives. Your actions must have consequences, but also care and discretion."

Diana nodded, understanding the delicate responsibility of her power:
"Thank you, sister. Knowing that you can repair what I myself have left behind allows me to maintain the balance between strength and care."

Galatea smiled slightly, reinforcing the lesson:
"True mastery is not measured only in control, but in the ability to heal and protect those who participate in your game, even without their full consent."

Diana lowered her gaze and nodded, thinking about how her magic could be powerful but also fair, and how her will needed to be combined with conscience and respect; and feeling the weight of her power and the consequences of her actions. The magic, will, and strength she had deployed left visible marks, and now she understood that she could not delegate the repair of the damage.

Galatea continued, softening her tone:
"You should take the initiative and approach her, so that both of you may forgive each other. It is not only an act of courtesy, but of balance and responsibility."

Diana took a deep breath, looking resolutely at the horizon.
"You are right," she said. "I must face this and seek reconciliation. Not only for Vanessa, but also for myself." The power I wield has consequences, and it's time to honor it with action and forgiveness.

Galatea smiled slightly, encouraging Diana to assume her role with awareness:
"Exactly, sister. Power isn't measured only in strength or magic; it's also measured in the ability to repair, heal, and balance what we've altered."

Diana nodded again, ready to approach Vanessa and restore harmony, aware that true authority also requires humility and empathy.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (17)

Diana looked up at Galatea, her voice calm and filled with a strange gratitude:
"Life has brought me several teachers," she said with a slight smile. "Among them, Luciana, a lady from a quiet village; and you, Galatea... creation of creation."

Galatea watched her silently, sensing in those words not only recognition, but an acceptance of fate. In Diana's eyes, there was a mixture of humility and power, as if she understood that every encounter, even the most painful, had been a necessary step in her transformation.

"Learning," Diana continued, "is not always gentle or fair, but in each teacher I found a different reflection of myself."

Galatea, with a barely perceptible sweetness, responded:
"And now, you too are a teacher, Diana. What Luciana sowed and I awakened, you will expand."

Diana said:
"I have learned my lessons; I will change and improve."

Galatea smiled faintly, like someone listening to a flower open at dawn. She stood by the window, gazing at the horizon. Dawn appeared over the hills, and the orange light painted a map of memories on her face. Her gaze, deep and patient, rested on Diana with a glow that wasn't judgmental, but understanding.
"So you say," she replied softly, "but change isn't announced, it's embodied." "Sometimes," she added, "changing isn't leaving behind what we were, but reconciling ourselves with it."

Diana looked at her. There was a weariness in her eyes, distinct from her body; it was the weight of decisions, of paths traveled with pride and guilt.
"So... isn't learning enough?" she asked.

"Learning is the beginning," Galatea replied. "But improving involves forgiving yourself. And that, Diana, is often the hardest lesson."

Silence filled the room, thick and warm like the mist rising from the valley. Galatea approached Diana and took her hands.
"I, too, had to fall to understand," she told her. "There is no teacher more severe than life, but no one more just."

Diana nodded. For the first time, she wasn't trying to impose or demonstrate. She simply listened, letting their words envelop her like a purifying blanket. She felt something unravel inside her: an ancient pride, a desire for control, a pain not yet named.
"I will change," she repeated, this time without promise or challenge, but calmly. "Not to be someone else, but to be better at what I already am."

Galatea looked at her tenderly and replied:
"So, Diana, you have already begun to change."

The wind parted the curtains. Outside, a leaf fell, turning slowly, and the three understood that this gesture of nature was also a symbol: what falls does not die, it only returns to the earth to be reborn.

Diana said,
"I'll look for Vanessa after I welcome my husband, who will soon be discharged."

Her words hung in the air for a moment, as if the silence wanted to make sure they had been understood. Luciana looked at her carefully: there was no longer any harshness in that voice, but rather a serene clarity, the firmness of someone who has accepted the weight and light of her own decisions.

Galatea, sitting while watching Diana through her cell phone screen, nodded slowly.
"The reunion with Vanessa won't be easy," she said. "But what hurts is usually what heals."

"I know," Diana replied, lowering her gaze. "There were distances that I myself caused. And although I know forgiveness isn't required, I want to try to get closer."

Galatea approached and placed a hand on her shoulder.
"Vanessa is waiting for you," she said gently, "even if she won't admit it. She too has learned from everything she's experienced, and perhaps she needs to see you to heal her own wound."

Outside, the day began in golden hues. Diana watched the light filter through the leaves, remembering the days in the hospital, the brief visits, the silences shared with her bedridden husband. In that man she would soon see standing again, her own journey was summed up: fragility and resilience, loss and hope.
"When he returns home," she continued, "I want him to find peace. And I want me to be part of that peace, too."

Galatea smiled, looking at the horizon, where the sun was emerging behind the hills, and her voice was a murmur of certainty:
"So, Diana, you are no longer just learning: you are serving love," she added, "Vanessa will understand," she said. "There are paths that can only cross when the soul has stopped fighting."

Diana took a deep breath. The fire of pride no longer dwelt in her chest, but rather a softer flame: that of purpose. Her journey, she realized, was not over; she was just beginning to write her second beginning.
