Re: shoulderride in sport

There is a great shoulder ride with a little Asian woman carrying a much larger man on you tube.  Go to you tube and type in knock, knock 3.   It is amazing!

Re: shoulderride in sport

It was always the tradition in soccer and rugby for teammates to lift the captain onto their shoulders with the trophy after a cup final had been won.  This was usually done by two guys with the captain half and half on one shoulder of each.  Very occasionally, one player would lift the captain on his shoulders.  This was done more often in women's soccer where one girl would usually lift up the captain.  Sadly, this practice more or less ended when players became too expensive a commodity to risk such acrobatics.  I am not into mom, only wow so the girls matches were quite interesting.  Even now, I try to catch the women's finals on TV just in case but no sr has been seen by me at least.  On mom, the soccer player christiano Ronaldo captained a Portuguese team in a youth cup final when he was probably 17 or 18 and was surprisingly lifted onto the shoulders of a single teammate to pose with the trophy held above his head, surprisingly because he is a tall and solidly built young man and the guy lifting him looked no bigger than he was.  A photo was on the web but I can't remember where.  Perhaps a mom fan would like to search for it.
