Ultimate shoulder rides

Does anyone understand how the "newest first" option in webshots works?   

For example; when I search with the term CHICKEN FIGHTS, it gives me 5209 pictures to view.  But when I click the "newest first" option, it reduces the number of picture to only 3.   

This is not what I desire.  I am looking for the entire listing to be organized with the newer picture first, so that searching through older pictures is eliminated.   

Any thoughts?   Is there some setting that needs to be changed?

BTW - I don't search with the term "chicken fights" since these pictures are almost always found by other members of the group (which is a good thing).
