New shoulder-riding video

Click the link below to see Ali and me out in the New Forest last Saturday (22 June 2013). I'm the one riding on Ali's shoulders. And the coarse voice at the very end is mine too! This video was uploaded to SproutVideo that offers a free 14-days period. The quality is not as good as the original (rather jerky) but if you want to retain this video, save it to your computer because it will disappear in 14 days time.

Re: New shoulder-riding video

Hi Checkmateguy,

Check out WeTransfer.com for sharing large files (max. 2 GB) or Dropbox.com for storing and sharing your vids in the cloud. Both services are free of charge and excellent.

I use WeTransfer if I want to share large files with others, just send them the downloadlink by mail (or publish it on USR) and voila. No need to install software locally or get a membership. If I'm correct the files will be automatically removed after a certain period of time.

Dropbox is the service you're looking for if you want to store your files permanently. Sharing is easy, can be done by file or folder (i.e. "my shoulder rides), you can also make a file or folder public.
The big plus about Dropbox is that it will fit nicely into your folders on your local pc or mac. Dragging and dropping files into Dropbox is done in the same way you would put them in any other folder on your computer.

There's of course more services out there. In the past I used SkyDrive for instance.

Thanks for telling me. I forgot to press the 'settings' button! View the videos now. Download and save if you want to keep a copy.
