If you are new to the shoulder groups community,please forgive my comments..
We have seen thousands and thousands of pictures on here over the last few years..
It is impossible to remember each and every one..
I have been guilty of putting up repeated photos myself once in a while..
However,it seems I am really the only member who is searching for photos that does not have search terms chicken fights or shoulders..
This is why you see me post lot's of photos that none of you have seen..
Here is where the problem lies..

on webshots,if you use the search term shoulders or chicken fights,but they are not the newest pictures to date,we have seen these photos before..It is a guarantee..Probably the photos You put up today are a few years old,and we have seen them a couple of times before on our groups..I certainly remember..It's great that you put an effort in putting up these photos..It would be even greater if you put photos that probably have not been seen using other search terms..I am not sounding mean or anything,but it does not make any sense for a couple of members putting up new photos,but having other members always putting up old photos..It's easy,I can go right now on webshots and put up a hundred photos using chicken fights,BUT WE HAVE SEEN them all before..
It is not only you,I just mentioned your name cause you were the latest to do this..
This frustrates a lot of members,but everyone is afraid to speak their mind..I in the other hand is not afraid,cause I really put a lot of effort in my searches,and if I am probably the few members who are really searching for photos that have never been seen,and other memmbers are putting up photos that are easy to find(and repeats),then this eliminates the purpose of me finding new pics..
It also confuses members in thinking what is new and what is old and repeated time and time again..
Yes there will be times that some members will sneak in an older pic,and I won't remember if it is new or old..Usually though you can solve this by going to webshots and checking to see if it is in the newer pages and not the older pages..
Please accept my appologies for those members who may not have seen or know how to find newer pics..
Like I said before to those who are new to this community...Search terms shoulders and chicken fights on webshots..If they are not up to date,then we have seen these photos before..Please don't put these photos up on here again...It takes up time and energy for those who has to delete them or put them in the other folders down below later on...

For the benefit of this group, in your opinion, how up to date is up to date? "Dated that day only? What other terms do you search for when posting images or vides besides, "shoulders," "chicken fight," "briga de galo" (Portuguese), " en hombros," "a hombros" (Spanish) "reiten schulter" (German), "couples," "fun," "piggyback," or "pick-a-back?"

The subject of repeat photos has been brought up before and there is no perfect answer to the issue.
My opinion is that it is preferable to have some repeats than to miss one altogether. Naturally if the repeat comes hot on the heels of a recent posting then it can be removed, but often the repeats go back a long way. Some newer members may not have seen the original posting and so it would be new for them. In additon, it can sometimes be nice to see an old friend brought out again. I know there are many photos in the archives, but I challenge anyone to find a specific posting there - there are just too many over the past several years to sort through.
For anyone now worried about posting photos, please don't hesitate. We cannot always be sure that what we find is 'new' or hasn't been posted before. Naturally if the date is sometime ago then there is a chance it has been posted, but I'd still rather see a repeat than risk the flow of contributions drying up.
What does anyone else think about this?

Dear Travers:
I guess what you are suggesting is that those of us who post first spend some time to see if it has been posted already. Then if no previous posting has been found, post it.

I don't want to prolong this topic, so please keep posting! If you subsequently see that you have posted a duplicate picture you can always delete it.
If the duplicate is in the archives, then so be it. There are many duplicates already filed there and that's just the way it is.
