Ultimate shoulder rides

I posted this very early in this club, but since there are many new members perhaps they would enjoy these comments.

I have been interested in this topic of shoulder riding for many years. Until the advent of the internet and the existence of these various groups, beginning with Yahoo, I thought that I was alone in this pursuit. Now at least I know there are many others.

There are many variations on this topic, but my own personal interest is in being ridden by a woman or observing a woman riding either a male or another female. I first became aware of the appeal of this fun activity when, at 11 years old, the 14 year old sister of a friend rode me in the pool. I do not know if it was the experience of having a girl on my shoulders, the fact that she was the perpetrator (it was her idea), or the enthusiasm with which she rode me, but I was hooked from that time. I know it was an intensely pleasurable experience for me and I still remember it vividly after many years.

A recent discussion train has brought to mind the question about how females feel about experiencing a shoulder ride from the top position. I believe that my first female mount enjoyed it immensely judging from the length of the ride, her laughter, and the way she tightly wrapped her legs around me. Knowing that Men are from Mars and women are from Venus, we probably look at this experience in very diffferent ways but there must at least be some common ground.

My own observations are that the level and type of enjoyment experienced by female riders are totally dependent upon mount, time and circumstance. I developed some thoughts about each one of these aspects and how it influences the female's experience.

1. A woman's personal feelings toward her mount seem to be in direct proportion to her pleasure. Lovers, husbands, children, family, and close friends evoke a pleasant response. I remember seriously dating a girl in college who I finally got up enough nerve to ask to carry on my shoulders. The ride took place in the park. She had what I would describe as an almost orgasmic reaction to the ride and made me carry her all the way to the car, which I happily did.

2. Comfort and stability is important. Women need to feel secure in that they will not be dropped. I have had more than one woman be so concerned that she was going to fall that she could not relax and enjoy. Some women can overcome this feeling, others never do. One woman, a tall girl who I wanted to carry for a long time, I asked to help me get something down from a high place. She complied, not once but twice, however she was nervous and shaking the whole time on my shoulders and could not wait to get down. She exclaimed that she never liked being up there even as a child.

3. The occasion often determines the enthusiasm level. Bouncing around on shoulders at a rock concert, rejoicing when your team wins, celebrating good times or a particular achievement, or a pleasant surprise. I posted a story in the old smart groups club regarding how the aunt of a down syndrome young man was given a shoulder ride by him in the pool. Her reaction was one of delight at this young man's happiness.

I have more to add but would like to hear others comments, particularly our female members.
