Happy Birthday!
Tomorrow, Friday will be exactly one year that this site was officially opened (Nov. 23rd, 2006).
I'd like to thank all our members who helped making this group such an success by sharing pictures, videos, links, discussions and of course stories and experiences of various shoulder rides.
Most of all we need to thank our Admin Nick who created and opened this site. Thanks to him we still HAVE this community! THANK YOU SO MUCH NICK!

Hi Louie,
I'm not very good at remembering anniversary dates so thanks for the reminder! But most of all, a big thank you for your excellent video clips of concert shoulder rides this year and for assisting in the administration.
Another thanks from me also to all who donated, making sure we stay on for another year, and to Scotty, Liz, Gossbo, Vagelli and all others who are participating here, makes this the #1 shoulder riding community.

Happy birthday to the group - warm greetings to Nick, Louie and all the many others who contribute so much here. It is a great bunch of active, happy people -and we are one year old already - it is hard to believe. I had better get cracking with some special birthday presents for all - which of course means an overdue picture posting!! Thanks to all for your continuing contributions - and I am sure this great group is here to stay!!

However, I must criticize one thing. Some of the pics I have posted have been deleted. They were probably deleted because they have been posted here before. It would be nice though, if the one who deletes them would give a short explanation of why? It´s ok to move pics from folder to folder, but if you delete a pic instead of moving it, then an explanation would be appreciated. Several members upload old pics, including one of our admins who just today uploaded several old pics in the wow bonus member album. Posting old pics can´t be that much of a problem, that you have to delete them, can it?

I agree completely, and I urge not to delete any pics because of repeats, to show respect to the poster, or at least contact the poster before or after. The only pics I occationally delete, are those that are copyright protected (and I do it only to secure the future of this community).

thanks for your post! Also thanks for your regular contributions.
I suppose it was me who deleted a few of your pics. I agree with Nicks message in content. Since we have bonus members who do not want to see repeats in the bonus albums I try to keep those folders as fresh as possible. If I recognise a pic I am sure is a repost I simply transfer it to the regular folders without notification.
If I delete a picture it is a pic that was posted a short while ago to the same album simply because it doesn't make sence to have the same picture twice within only a few pages respectively within a few days. Check out the bonus album. I suppose you will find those removed pics because they are already in the album. If you can't find them please post them again and accept my appologies. I certainly don't claim to be faultless.

By the way gunde thanks for the latest pics that are very nice! I only had to transfer one of them to the wom standard album.
