My last shoulder ride in 2012

Hi everybody...

2012 finished with a shoulder ride on 29th and 30th for me. One of my ponies was here, so I enjoyed myself...
Mostly at night time, when it was dark enough I had several shoulder riding with some breaks in between. This pony is not as young as centaur to give me long rides nonstop but strong enough to carry me several times for 20 minutes or so in one single night.

The funny thing was on the way back home, while I was still sitting on his shoulder... we noticed there was a sign in that path -where I was riding him- which shows "horse riding forbidden" haha I broke the rule

Hope 2013 brings enough shoulder rides for you all, and also me.

Age does not matter-what matters is the ability of the rider to get the best out of the pony for the satisfaction of both of them.

Lets have more personal info please

Re: My last shoulder ride in 2012

It depends on how the pony likes to be ridden. Perhaps a star rating should be introduced? One star for ponies who like to be rode gently (or gently rode - if that is better English!) And, at the other end of the scale, a five star rating for ponies who enjoy being 'hard-rode' into the ground or to and beyond the point of physical exhaustion?

Re: My last shoulder ride in 2012

I like your Five-Star system checkmateguy but I don't think a gentle ride should be diminished simply because it's a gentle ride. I think it's really about the quality of the ride regardless of how hard the pony is ridden. For example, a nice relaxing shoulder ride where the mount has good endurance and provides his rider with a solid, strong base so his rider feels totally secure and balanced and maybe even stimulated by the mount's movements should earn that mount a lot of stars as a mount. On the other end of the spectrum, a mount who cannot endure anything and is really wobbly and makes the rider feel completely terrified of falling should not get a good rating regardless of whether it was supposed to be a hard ride.

I remember being at an outdoor concert and Jay-Z was about to perform. I heard the voice of a petite teenage girl, maybe 18 years old yelling from behind me, "I sure wish I could be on somebody's shoulders." She was about 162 cm (5'4") in height and about 48 Kg (105 lbs) in weight and a very attractive, brunette. Naturally I was only too happy to offer my shoulders. Well, to make a long story short, I danced and moved to the music and she bounced and bounced and at times I held her bare feet in my hands like stirrups and the way she was sometimes quivering on my neck and with her toes were curling hard, I think she was having a very erotic time riding me. She was really using my neck to her advantage. I ended up carrying her for the entire show of Jay-Z and also his encore. I'm not sure if he played for an hour or an hour and a half. All I know was my exhaustion was great but I simply would not allow this Princess to be disappointed. I was completely lost in my own ecstasy of carrying this girl and dancing to the music. I would not fail her. When I finally put her down, she gave me the biggest hug and kiss and said, "That was an absolutely FLAWLESS performance. Thank you so much!"

I had never heard such an expression used for giving a shoulder ride. No one has ever called my shoulder rides "flawless."  My point in all this, is that based on that ride, I should be considered a five-star mount, and yes I was ridden hard, but I never considered her as cruel. She would have let me put her down anytime I wanted. It was my own desire to reach perfection for her that drove me to endure. After she dismounted and hugged me, she and her girl friends slipped away into the crowd and the darkness and I have never seen her again. It was a night I'll never forget.

Re: My last shoulder ride in 2012

Wonderful story mountmeforever! Lucky you and lucky girl.

I think checkmate meant that each pony has a number of stars, not to say how good they are, but signifying how much hardship they are willing to go through!

Of course, there are different types of hardship. A 'pony' who will let themselves be made to carry until they literally drop, might still not be ok with something like a whip.

Hi Wildfiregirl,

I think you are right. I think I totally misunderstood the rating system presented by checkmateguy. Thank you for the clarification.

Re: My last shoulder ride in 2012

Thank you, mountmeforever, for that excellent report of yours about your experience of carrying on your shoulders a young woman at a music event. Actually, the star system I was suggesting covered only one category, that of 'endurance.' Your suggestion that there should be different (or more) categories for things like 'quality' (of the ride) obviously makes sense.

Returning to the subject of endurance, there are guys around (I am not one of them) who would thoroughly enjoy fairly weighty females mounting their shoulders just so these sort of guys can find out what they can carry and for how long. The ideal female that these sort of pony-guys would be looking for should weigh at least 12 stones (168 pounds or 80 kilos) up to 14 stones (or 196 pounds or 90 kilos). When one of these females gets astride the shoulders of one of these guys, he should sag as the weight settles down on his shoulders in much the same way as the springs of a car sag when it is overloaded with people or goods. Such a female should have 'meaty' thighs and equally 'meaty' buttocks. With his head securely clamped between her thighs, the female rider can then urge the pony-guy to find out the limits of his carrying capacity as well for how long he can carry her. Ummm... I'd love to be a spectator watching a guy like that carrying a female like that on his shoulders!

The younger, the better for me... I would prefer young ponies, but don't decline older ones either if everything else about them is ok...

It was so good to believe, lucky both of you... I can understand how she felt... And you did a good job : One hour and a half...
Can I sit on your shoulders for the next concert I go? big_smile
Since last year that I am in Germany I haven't gone to any concert. And in my country, it was not possible to sit on sb's shoulders in a concert though I am pretty sure there were a lot of guys willing to do that. I just tempted now to go to a concert here and shout "I'm sure I could be on somebody's shoulders" and I hope sb as strong as you would appear wink

Oi! Centaur, I just noticed that apparently you live in Australia! (Next to your last post)

Are you actually here, or is that a bizarre internet error? If not  - perhaps you would consider having lunch with two other ponies?

Hi Wildfiregirl! Yes, I'm in the Sydney area for about a month... then I'll go back to my Owner, whom I miss so much!
Lunch would be great. We may exchange ideas and experiences... Thanks for the lovely idea! Shall we talk in private to define date and place?

Btw one promise to everybody else , esp those who asked for a photo. I dont like to put my photo here or anywhere else, but the next time I see and ride centaur (which might take time), I will change my profile photo to one photo of us together. Of course it won't show our face but good enough to show me on his shoulders. He will change his profile photo to this also, am I right centaur? wink

That would be excellent MistressP! I don't think anyone here will push about it. But if you guys want, you can do what Gregoryan did when he and I got together - he wrote USR on his shirt. it is just visible in our video and one of our photos.
