Lift'n'carry clips [topic title changed]

I found a site with a lot of lift links to videos and pictures.
http://www.saradas.org/index.php?action=profile;u=9550;sa=showPosts (New Window)

The lift links start at post number 7.
By chance does this site belong to one of our members?

Perhaps Vageli might like to note that although this site is for shoulder riding, some members actually enjoy associated lifting and carrying as well. I am always interested to see possible connections, so thanks Bert for this link.
Incidentally, quite a few of those connections include shoulder riding, perhaps not in the form for some members tastes, but I hope this group is not becoming too focused on only one type of riding. Surely we can share links - you don't have to look at them if you don't want to.

I agree with Vagelli this time. The name of the website is "Ultimate SHOULDER RIDES," not "Ulitmate Lift and Carry."  Thankyou very much for the hardwork on all the contributions, Bert.  I prefer that  only videos paticular to shoulder rides be contributed to this website with only a reference to lifts and carries on other websites for those interseted in other types of lifts and carries.   So, in part, I also agree with Travers that some of us are interested in other types of lifts and carries such that some of us appreciate being referred to other websites.

Oh, well. Try to please us all and you will please few or none of us.

???   Did you look at the links?  Some of those links INCLUDE shoulder rides.  So what, if they are in the format of lift/carry!   Why would that matter?

If I only posted the few pictures/videos/and links that I like, then my contributions to this group would be very small.  Shoulder-riding pictures are very difficult to find.   I recommend each member should be allowed to post ANY discovered shoulder riding pictures (within the rules) so that other folks can enjoy their own "likes or dislikes".

Yes, Bert. I looked at all of the videos identified as pertaining to lift and carry. It was very time-consuming to sift out the shoulder riding videos from the rest of the lifts and carries.  You and I will most likely never agree on this issue about what may be posted.

It  is my fear that if your postings irrevelant to this website, that is your videos of lifts and carries that are not shoulder riding,  are not curtailed then more will post videos not involving shoulder nding then this website will eventually be overloaded with irrelevant spam as occurs with many Yahoo groups.  Adults and children both attempt to test the limits set by the leadership.

Nick, Louie, Scotty, Travers. You are the most prominent leaders of this website that I have noticed.  In reference to all just discussed, what is your ruling on this issue if any?

Hi Bert,

I changed your topic title to avoid further annoyances among our members.

To Sam, Vaggelli: yes, this is a shoulder riding community, and other interests should not be discussed or linked. But in my very personal opinion, a few exceptions like this one is fine, as long as the topic title is explicit, and that the poster does not create several threads about the topic.

Thanks Travers - It seems some other people are quick to criticize.   I will continue to post shoulder rides from:
photo-sites,
acrobat sites,
concerts,
lift sites,
video sites,
social network sites,
cheer sites,
dance sites,
blogs,
commercials,
scans of pictures,
and even a few from my own camera.

I have been doing this since the early yahoo sites that Scotty sponsored (under the name MHT183).

Shoulder ride pictures are so hard to find that I will not eliminate a category just because 2 people in the group are annoyed by the source.

I find it ironic that my favorite shoulder ride pictures are similar to the favorites (stated in other discussions) of one of the people who is complaining about this link posting.  I like the mismatch or “show of strength” shoulder rides with a bigger female as the rider.  The difference is that I still post EVERY shoulder ride that I find because I know that others members have different favorites.  The hope is that some other members of the group may find a picture that I like and post it.

Bert

It seems you and I might be kindred spirits. Don't be put off by criticism - it's difficult enough to get people to contribute things anyway, so I always appreciate what other people try to do even if I may not like the result sometimes.
In your case I detect you are also quite broad-minded, so please carry on with your postings. If you feel they are not for this group, then I'd be more than happy to share something with you outside it.

Thank you Bert for your posting.
I am also like to see the bigger female as the rider (that's why I like the Brazilian movies). nice pictures you post to the Pool Fun album.
