Riding or Being Pulled?

If given the option between riding on someone versus being pulled in a small buggy or carriage which would a rider prefer?

I pose the same question for the carriers - would you rather be ridden or hooked up to a small buggy or carriage and driven?

Have a great day!

As a rider, primarily riding directly. But being pulled sounds amazing. However, as a carrier, purely just being ridden, not pulling anything.

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

I do feel that pulling a cart would bring out the best communication because both would rely on the bit/reins as a main source of communication. I could be wrong?!

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

I am a carrier.

And I will choose to be ridden anytime over being pulled.

I give rides. to bear the weight of my rider. not to pull the weight

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

Definitely riding on someone. Having them bear my weight is part of the enjoyment of being a rider.

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

Riding on someone over being pulled any day.
The feeling of having the carrier bear my weight and help me position comfortably even if he/she feels a bit discomfort for me, is the ultimate pleasure for both.

The best communication, in my opinion, can be brought out by riding on someone because you can not only use bit and reins but also can use your legs and feet. this is the closest you can be to actual horse-riding.

I am a rider and looking for pony to have long rides. Email, if anyone interested.

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

I prefer riding because my female rider is riding me on.

About puling, I wont fee her ad her weight over me.

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

I prefer to ride my carrier than being pulled.
Riding give the direct contact with my pony .
More over by riding we can feel the movement of my carrier .. between my thighs

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

Riding makes more sense because sitting on a human horse you are much more maneuverable as in a rickshaw.
You can even use steps.
Form longer distances being pulled seems to more comfortable.

Having one or two good horses in front a few people could sit together in a carriage.

Re: Riding or Being Pulled?

Being exclusively a rider, I can see a rickshaw  as a practical option, but  not as a preference.
I enjoy sitting directly on my  carrier, feeling his efforts as he obeys my  directions, his eyes looking downward  with his head bowed so that his shoulders  provide a  support for my bottom.  My view is  much  better than what it would be in  a cart or  rickshaw and I can feel  that he is acknowledging  my superiority by his efforts in serving beneath me.

Of course for a real riding woman a human horse. is the better choice.
Anyway a rickshaw or sedan-chair is the better choice if a lady or girl wears elegant clothes and elegant shoes and wants to go for a dinner or at a disco.

But for normal use I think a human horse cane better.

Riding. The carrier’s ability to give me rides on his shoulders is a major part of the experience. Between the physical contact and the higher point of view, it’s much more exciting.
