Hi I am a new member. I really like this community and I would love all your opinions on this topic. We all know that in most cases the rider is the dominant and the one in control. But are there any situations where the carrier can be the one in charge????

I’ve played that role myself a few times in my life, although not in an erotically dominant kind of way. My cousin is a woman a year older than me, and often as kids and preteens when I roped her into sitting on my shoulders she would show some reluctance. That meant that I was the one driving the situation and telling her what kind of things to do while she was on top.

I can explain it from the other side.
If you are not dominant, i.e. a sub, then when riding you know exactly what your riding slave wants... and you can give it to him! Spurs, whip, you know how to move in the saddle to ride him well and intensely, to get him sharp.
Now all you have to do is imagine that you were the stallion yourself, that you could feel your rider the way you are riding now... that's of course a fantasy and can't be realized in practice, but it's worth thinking about , that's what I think.

That's one way of dominating, but as a carrier I don't think you can ever be as dominant as a rider.
