A Mommy

Mariela (1)

Mariela R.R., 32 years old, 168 cm or 5'6" (183 cm or 6' when she wears 6" heels and 2" platform), 60 kg or 130 lbs.

Mariela is a stunning woman, a Goddess with an athletic and well-proportioned build. Her shape reflects strength, energy, and grace. She has long, firm, shapely legs, wide hips, a majestic ass, and thick thighs that give her presence and stability when riding, and an upright back that denotes confidence. Her arms are strong yet feminine, with firm hands, skilled in leading and tender in caring.

She has a serene and expressive face with harmonious features. Her skin is a soft tan, lightly tanned by the sun. Large, dark eyes, full of intelligence and determination. Her hair is dark brown, long, and usually braided or up when she is. Her lips are defined, with a smile that reassures and commands at a time.

Mariela is a strong, determined, and self-confident woman. She commands respect without needing to raise her voice. She has a warm energy that inspires confidence in others. She is maternal with her son, tender with her husband, and firm when she leads. Her gaze can be gentle or withering, depending on the situation.

She has a strong sense of duty and doesn't hesitate to assume control when necessary. At the same time, she doesn't seek to impose herself, but rather to act wisely. Therefore, even when she rides the male or the exoskeleton or gives commands, she does so naturally, and the others follow and obey her respectfully, not out of obligation, but out of admiration.

Mariela is deeply loved in her community. The women respect her as a model of combined strength and sensitivity. Her husband loves her deeply, and her son considers her a hero.

The males admire her; many do so silently, and others express it openly. Some men dream of being the "horse" that her Carry her, not out of submission, but out of devotion.

The men who surround Mariela feel no shame or humiliation in wanting to be ridden by her on her shoulders or allowing her to ride them like four-legged horses. Quite the contrary, it is a gesture of profound devotion, born from the genuine admiration she inspires.

This is not an imposed submission or a forced power dynamic, but something that emerges naturally and voluntarily. For them, Mariela represents more than just a strong and beautiful woman: she is a Goddess who embodies the perfect balance between firmness and tenderness, between leadership and maternal protection.

For this reason, being ridden by her on manly shoulders or getting on all fours so she can ride him is a way for each of the men to honor her, to be closer to her imposing yet warm presence, to offer their bodies as a tribute of service, trust, and admiration.

Re: A Mommy

Mariela (2)

Mariela is a sacred figure; these men experience religious fervor: they do not wish to dominate or equal her, but rather to elevate her, support her, and serve her. They feel that she guides them, protects them, and, at the same time, inspires them to be better. Mariela never abuses this devotion, but she knows that she awakens it and honors it with dignity.

This religious fervor drives the men to perform acts of profound physical and emotional devotion as a way of expressing their love, gratitude, or supplication to Mariela. These gestures, however extreme they may seem, do not arise from coercion, but from an inner devotion so intense that kneeling or walking on stones becomes an act of humility and penitence. Kissing Mariela's feet symbolizes total surrender and reverence before the divine. Even the idea of becoming the ground for Mariela to walk on, one or several males in a row, is the supreme honor: to be one of the steps on which she advances.

If we understand this religious fervor that Mariela inspires, we will understand why the men around her feel that being her mount or horse, her step, her support, her physical base, her pedestal, is an act of reverent and voluntary love. They do it not to be degraded, but to be an active part of her journey, her path. It is a privilege: to be one of the steps on the path beneath her feet, to be part of her progress, of her strength, of her light.

Mariela's passing through the public street is a ceremonial act that transcends the everyday. Her presence creates such a profound and moving effect that many kneel upon seeing her pass, not out of obligation, but because they feel deep within themselves that they are before someone who embodies something superior—a combination of beauty, strength, kindness, and leadership—deserving of reverence. Some lie on the ground, literally offering their bodies as the path she can walk. They do so not out of servility, but for the immense honor of being the ground beneath her feet, as if by supporting her weight they could absorb some of her light. And there are those who, through tears or with profound gratitude, kiss her feet or the footwear that protects them, as if those objects had been sanctified by contact with her body.

All of this is not theatricality: it is a spontaneous act of fervor. There are no words of command, no signs of imposition. There is only voluntary devotion, joy in serving, and a spiritual longing for connection with her.

Those who feel religious fervor for Mariela cover a wide range of ages, and each group experiences it in their own way, but all with profound respect.

Children aged 6 to 12 see her as a figure of tenderness, power, and protection. They call her affectionately, and many dream of one day carrying her on their shoulders like their father does. They kneel, joyfully imitating what they see adults do, and kiss Mariela's feet and shoes. For them, she is a fairytale queen or a living heroine.

Teenagers aged 13 to 18 venerate her with a mixture of admiration, respect, and idealization. They perceive her as unattainable yet inspiring; they are her followers and stepping stones.

Young and mature adults between the ages of 19 and 50 are those who most intensely express this devotion, both men and women. They see her as a sacred figure, combining attraction, respect, and admiration. They volunteer to carry her on their shoulders or backs, not as slavery but as honor and devotion. They kiss Mariela's feet and shoes, and act as her steps as she walks.

Older adults, ages 51 and older, see Mariela as a blessing and associate her with hope, the future, and the protection of the people. They say phrases like "God sent her to us" or "she takes care of what we can no longer protect." They kneel in gratitude, not out of weakness, but out of a profound faith in what she represents, with her horses and steps.

In other words, there is no specific age for feeling devotion to Mariela, and her presence transcends generations and has become a symbol of strength, beauty, and goodness, uniting the people in a shared sense of veneration.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (1) – Mariela's Influence

Mariela, with her serene presence and authentic faith, attends church every Sunday. She enters with her head slightly bowed and a collected expression, inspiring silence and contemplation as she passes. She enters the church as if she were treading on sacred ground, but also as if she knew her presence was imposing.

Mariela dresses with sober elegance: a long, sober, ivory-toned dress with ochre borders falls over her figure, outlining without exaggeration the curve of her hips, the firmness of her posture, and the elegant confidence with which she walks. A shawl draped over her shoulders and closed dark leather boots. Beneath the dress are burgundy riding pants, tight and reinforced, which speak of discipline and mastery.

The spurs of her boots ring upon contact with the stone floor, a soft, metallic clang that many recognize even before seeing her. The rhythmic echo of her footsteps mingles with the murmur of the faithful, who lower their gaze or raise it surreptitiously, sensing that an unusual figure enters the house of God.

In her right hand, she carries a short whip, a symbol not of punishment, but of control and restraint. It is not uncommon for some young people, upon seeing her pass, to close their eyes in respect... or suppressed emotion.

However, although he goes out of conviction and devotion, Father Ignacio, the parish priest, observes with a mixture of tenderness and resignation how the pews are completely filled every Sunday... but not all with the same purpose.

From the altar, he often sees: Men of all ages who look at her with more intense devotion than they show toward the tabernacle. Young people and adults who kneel solemnly when she enters, some even discreetly placing themselves near the aisle where they know she will walk. Children with red cheeks awkwardly make the sign of the cross when they see her sit down. Elderly people with moist eyes murmur, "She's a saint; the town is lucky to have her."

Father Ignacio, standing at the altar, can't help but smile. It's not mockery, it's affection. He has known Mariela since she was a child and knows that her faith is firm and true. He also knows that, because of her, many who had strayed have returned to the church. So when she kneels with martial elegance in the aisle, he says quietly, only to himself:
"My God... what you couldn't achieve with fire, you have achieved with Mariela and her spurs."

At the beginning of Mass, in a jovial but reverent tone, Father Ignacio says:
"Today is Holy Sunday. The Gospel brings a message... and so does Mariela."
The smiles are inevitable. The youngest ones exchange glances, the mothers rebuke tenderly, the older men close their eyes as if praying more intensely, and Mariela, without looking up, simply clasps her hands with firm delicacy. In the stillness of the church, she is a guide, a presence, a symbol of the high... and also of the earthly.

Father Ignacio smiles and shakes his head indulgently. More than once, at the beginning of the homily, he has said:
"Brothers, I am happy to see so many new faces every Sunday... although I don't know if they come for the Gospel or for Mariela."
The community laughs softly. Mariela, humbly, lowers her gaze and clasps her hands.

The priest continues:
"But it doesn't matter. If she brings them, so be it. God can work through many paths... even through beautiful eyes and boots and spurs that sound loud on the floor."
And everyone nods, because deep down they know that Mariela's faith, lived with such dedication, has become a living guide for many.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (2) – Mariela's Seat

The church is packed to the doors, and the pews are overflowing. Everyone squeezes in as best they can: some standing at the back, others on the steps of the side altar. Mariela enters, and there isn't a single free spot; there's a slight murmur, a pause in the rhythm of the church.

She stops naturally in the middle of the aisle, her gaze scanning the rows, without haste or demand. She doesn't need to speak. She knows someone will respond. And so it is.

A young man, with a serene and humble expression, stands up from one of the side pews and approaches her. She smiles at her seat. Before Mariela sits down, the young man who offered to seat her kneels reverently. Gently and unhurriedly, he takes one of Mariela's boots in his hands, brings it to his face, and kisses the leather with deep devotion. Then he repeats the gesture with the other boot. She does this not out of obligation or command, but out of a sincere sense of respect and veneration. She looks at him tenderly and allows him to do so, without arrogance, but with the ease of someone accustomed to inspiring such fervor.

Then, without saying a word, he kneels and places his hands on the ground, bowing his head in a sign of respect. His straight, firm back serves as a seat. Another, older man, places his folded coat on the back of the first man, for Mariela's greater comfort.

She nods with a slight smile. She sits with grace and dignity, as if this gesture were a natural part of the ritual. Those who observe do so without scandal. There is no mockery, no astonishment, no reproach: there is understanding, even a mixture of devotion and admiration.

Father Ignacio briefly pauses his reading, contemplates her, shakes his head with his classic paternal smile, and resumes the Mass:
"The Lord came to serve, and today one of his sons has served well." Let each one give their best to others, according to their gift.

Throughout the Mass, Mariela remains seated, serene, her spurs lightly touching the ground and her riding crop resting on her lap, like someone who reigns without a throne, but with order.

The man who serves as her seat throughout the Mass remains motionless, his back straight, showing no discomfort, as if that were his natural place in the world, while Mariela remains seated with dignity and serenity. When the ceremony concludes, Mariela stands gracefully. The young man, still kneeling, bows his head again, and as a farewell, kisses Mariela's boots again, this time with more emotion, like someone giving thanks for a privilege received.

As the homily progresses and the priest delivers his message, Mariela, seated elegantly on her human seat, maintains her posture straight, her back firm, her chin slightly raised. The metallic echo of her spurs resonates softly each time she slides them on the stone floor, turning them with a subtle movement of her ankle. It's a sound that doesn't interrupt, but rather accompanies the reverent silence of the temple, as if it were part of the ritual.

In a moment of reflection, she gracefully crosses her legs, revealing the shape of her riding breeches beneath her long dress. Her riding crop rests on her lap, and her gloves are carefully placed at her side. She listens attentively, her eyes serene, while the faithful—some more devout than others—watch her out of the corner of their eyes, as if her mere presence reinforced the spirituality of the moment.

With a serene and gentle smile, she briefly strokes his hair with her fingertips and says softly:
"The Lord sees your humility. Thank you, son."

The young man remains silent, his eyes closed, as if that moment filled him completely.

The faithful, far from being shocked, respect the moment, knowing that this gesture is not one of humiliation, but of profound devotion.

Father Ignacio, watching from the altar, shakes his head again, smiling, as he murmurs:
"Mariela... always sowing faith in her own way."

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (3) – Mariela's Footstool and Pedestal

When the time comes to kneel, Mariela stands solemnly, and her seat—still in a quadruped position—slowly moves back. Immediately, two volunteers come forward. One lies face down, aligning his body at the front of the pew, while another quickly and devoutly places a clean, white blanket over the back of the recumbent man. Everything happens silently, fluidly, as if part of the ceremony.

Mariela kneels over the covered body without hesitation. There is no display of superiority, but rather the firmness of one who has accepted a natural leadership role within her community. Beside her, other faithful kneel on the floor or on the kneelers in the pews, but Mariela's space stands out like a living altar.

When the moment of kneeling prayer concludes, Mariela rises gently and purposefully, her spurs briefly clicking again as they touch the stone floor. The volunteer who served as a human kneeler slides to one side without a word, while another—who had previously held her as a seat—resumes his four-legged position with discipline and reverence, ready.

Mariela settles herself upon him with dignity and ease, as if the entire process were part of a protocol rehearsed many times. Her movements are neither abrupt nor theatrical: they are graceful, firm, and assured. The quilted blanket is still draped over the worshipper's back for her comfort.

As she kneels upon the back of her footstool, motionless and absorbed in prayer, he feels the light but firm weight of her presence. Every second beneath her is a privilege, a form of service he himself sought. His face, hidden beneath the fabric, breaks into a serene smile.

Once again seated, Mariela elegantly crosses her legs, resting her arms on her thighs. The whip returns to its place on her lap. The murmur of the church ceases completely, as if her very posture sets the rhythm of collective attention. There is no irreverence in what is happening, but a mixture of faith, admiration, and absolute devotion to a woman whose very presence seems to inspire something greater than herself.

The priest, from the altar, pauses briefly. He looks at Mariela, smiles sideways, and then continues with the Mass as if all this were part of the Sunday rite. There is no interruption, but harmony.

When the priest invites the congregation to stand, the gentle movement of people rising in the pews can be heard. Mariela also stands, with that unique blend of solemnity and elegance that characterizes her. The discreet sound of her spurs accompanies her ascent.

Then, a man among the faithful steps forward quickly and decisively, kneels, and then lies completely on the ground in front of her, aligned precisely. Another, with synchronized movements, spreads a blanket over the first man's back, making sure there are no wrinkles and that it is perfectly centered. Everything happens in complete silence and without verbal instructions. It is a learned, almost ritualistic act of devotion.

Mariela says nothing. She only nods slightly, acknowledging the gesture. She climbs on top of the manly body and remains upright over the covered body while the priest continues with the rite. Her posture is serene, focused, and at the same time imposing.

For those around her, it is natural to see her like this, as if the ground itself were offering to support her. It is not a spectacle or exaggeration: it is a testament to the veneration she inspires, as intense as the faith the ceremony summons.

The man who lies on the floor, covered by the blanket that allows Mariela to stand with dignity, feels not humiliation, but a profound, almost sacred emotion. His chest swells with a mixture of pride and peace. He is where he wants to be, where he feels he should be: beneath Mariela.

For him, being the ground that supports her is a supreme honor. There is no sacrifice, only surrender; there is no suffering, only meaning. In that moment, his body is not just a physical support: it is an altar, a pedestal, a living expression of her devotion.

As she stands on the back of her pedestal, motionless and absorbed in prayer, he feels the light but firm weight of her presence. Every second beneath her is a privilege, a form of service he himself sought. His face, hidden beneath the cloth, breaks into a serene smile.

Because in that position, in that moment, he is part of something greater: of the cult, of the community, of the reverence for Mariela, whose faith and figure inspire.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (4) – Mariela's Stone Steps

When Mariela approaches the altar to receive Communion, her figure rises with majesty. She does not tread on stone or marble: her path is formed by bowed bodies, by kneeling and prostrate men, their heads aligned like living stone steps. With each step, she ascends, and with each human step she steps upon, her height is magnified, not only in stature, but in dignity and presence. All eyes follow her: she seems taller, more imposing, more sacred. It is as if she floats above a devotion made flesh, above a ground that recognizes her as superior and offers itself as her pedestal.

When she approaches the altar to receive Communion, she does not walk on stone or marble. Her path is formed by the heads of prostrate men, aligned perfectly on either side, shoulder to shoulder, forehead to forehead, forming a living double row of stone steps. Each one remains motionless, their foreheads touching the ground, offering their bodies as a silent and reverent offering.

She advances with a firm and serene step, her elegant gait resting on the bowed crowns of her head, consecrated stone steps. There is no complaint or hesitation among them: they know their place is there, supporting her. Thus, as the assembly watches in silence, she rises. She not only appears taller: she is, for her dignity is sustained by the voluntary submission of those who bow before her passage.

Her every movement is part of a sacred rite, a communion not only with the divine, but with the order she embodies.

When Mariela approaches the altar, she walks not on stone or carpet, but on parietal, occipital, and nape bones solemnly offered. The men are prostrate on either side of the central aisle, forming two perfect rows of heads, aligned like living stone steps, each skull carefully positioned to respect the exact measurement of her steps. The distance between one stone step and the next has been precisely calculated, as if her gait had dictated the geometry of the rite.

She advances with grace and determination, supported by friendly hands that accompany and balance her, not out of weakness, but as part of a ceremony where every gesture has meaning. Her gait is dignified and elevated, her boots touching one head after another without haste, like someone walking on a truth that surrenders to her presence.

Those present remain silent, for what is happening is not a simple transition: it is a consecration. Her stature comes not only from her height, but from the recognition embodied in every bowed body, in every offered neck. And so, upon reaching the altar, she not only receives communion: she herself has been lifted up, step by step, by the devotion of those who know that their place is beneath her feet.

She walks silently, solemnly, respecting the slow pace of the line moving toward the altar. Her gait is neither hurried nor hesitant: it is measured, deliberate, sacred. Each head on which she places her boots—parietal, occipital, nape of the neck, offered with devotion—bears her weight for more than five seconds, just long enough for the person lying beneath to catch their breath and receive, in reverent silence, the blessing of Mariela's weight.

There is no complaint or movement. The motionless bodies await their turn to be honored with Mariela's footsteps. Each footstep becomes a moment of grace, a pause where the world stops. She walks with poise and elegance, guided by the friendly hands that accompany her, but it is her presence that dominates the space: firm, tall, serene.

For those prostrate, every second beneath her boots is a privilege, a moment of intimate humility. And so, step by step, Mariela advances, while the entire temple falls silent, holding its breath at the obvious: she walks not among them, but above them, and it is from there, from that height made of surrendered bodies, that she approaches to receive the divine.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (5) – Connection

While the others kneel humbly to receive the Host, Mariela stands erect, elevated, advancing slowly above the path of prostrate heads that support her. Her slow walk imposes a reverent silence, and each of her steps—precise, firm—on a neck, an occipital bone, or a parietal bone is an act charged with meaning.

Those around her lower their gaze, not only as a sign of spiritual recollection, but because she, from on high, has become the central figure of that sacred moment. Those who kneel do so on the cold floor or on prepared cushions; she, on the other hand, does not need to bow: it is the world that bows beneath her.

When she finally arrives before the minister who distributes the Eucharist, she does so from a height that is not merely physical. The server extends the host, and for a moment, even he hesitates, recognizing in Mariela a presence that surpasses all solemnity. And although she doesn't kneel like the others, there is no doubt that her gait and posture were a distinct—and deeply symbolic—form of adoration.

Mariela receives Communion standing tall, erect, imposing. Her figure is silhouetted solemnly before the altar, and for a moment, it is the priest who kneels before her, not out of protocol, but by the force of his presence, by the symbolic weight he carries.

The host touches Mariela's tongue with the same gentleness with which his boots touch the necks and skulls of those who have held her there. She doesn't lower her head: she bows it slightly, with dignity. She has arrived not only as a faithful woman, but as a living symbol, as an offering sustained by manly devotion, made into a stepping stone.

After receiving the Eucharist, she moves forward slowly and begins her return. She does not step on marble, but on surrendered flesh. She walks the path of stone steps formed by men's heads, which remain firm, prostrate, proud to be the path on which she rose. Each step is an affirmation of serene dominion, a footprint that leaves a mark beyond its weight.

When she reaches her place, a devotee awaits her, completely reclining, covered with a blanket, transformed into a living carpet. She pauses briefly, contemplates him, and then, with the same calm with which she walked to the altar, stands on him. The Mass continues. She, from her human pedestal, listens, prays, and breathes deeply and calmly, while he, below, remains in absolute silence, grateful to be the ground that sustains her.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (6) – Mariela's Speech

The Mass comes to an end, and the entire church falls into an expectant silence. Mariela stands, with the same solemnity with which she approached the altar. Before everyone's eyes, she walks once more up the stone steps formed by prostrate male heads, advancing with poise and dignity, step by step, as if the entire ground were offered before her once more.

She reaches the microphone and stops. The silence deepens. Her voice resonates clearly, firmly, softly, yet powerfully, as if each word descended from on high:
“They call me Goddess. It's a compliment, it's poetry. But I am not the one who creates, because I am the creation. I thank the Creator for having placed me here. You also thank Him for having the opportunity to serve me… and be good people.”

Her words are not commands, they are revelations. There is no arrogance, only certainty. She doesn't proclaim herself superior: she acknowledges her place, elevated not out of arrogance, but out of purpose. The people listen to her with open hearts, some with tears in their eyes, others with their foreheads still pressed to the ground.

And then, Mariela falls silent. Her presence, her message, and her walk have spoken for her. The ceremony is over, but her passing remains engraved in each of those who prostrated themselves. She doesn't impose, she inspires. And in that temple, where others kneel, she walks elevated... like someone who has understood that serving and being served can be different forms of love.

When the ceremony concludes, the faithful begin to leave in silence, moved by what they have experienced. Mariela, however, remains in her place, standing, upright over two manly heads still prostrate at her feet. One on each side, firm as living columns, they support her reverently as the temple empties.
She doesn't hurry. She remains for a moment longer, contemplating the altar, the echo of her message floating in the air. Then, with grace and calm, she steps down from their human pedestals. As her boots rest on the ground, the two men slowly raise their heads, looking at her with devotion.
"Thank you," she says, her voice warm and serene.

They both bow even closer and delicately kiss the boots they had held proudly moments before. It is not a mechanical gesture, but one laden with meaning: they are grateful for having been part of her elevation, her journey, her message.

Mariela smiles at them. They rise, leaving without a word, their faces serene and their souls full. Mariela remains alone for a few more seconds, until she finally turns and, with a calm gait, leaves the temple. Behind her is the echo of her footsteps... and the living memory of a presence that walked not among them, but above them, with respect, faith, and certainty.

Re: A Mommy

The Mass (7) – The Final Conversation

When Mariela leaves the church, the afternoon sun caresses her face. Father Ignacio is waiting for her at the door, his cassock fluttering slightly in the wind, his hands clasped, and a smile that blends awe, respect, and resignation.
"At every Mass you say the same thing," he says in a calm voice, "but your devotion to me hasn't diminished... it's increased."

Mariela looks at him sweetly, without arrogance, and responds with a calmness that springs from certainty:
"At least they come for me... and listen to the sermon. I've sensed they're becoming better people."

The priest nods slowly, noting how some of the faithful still look at her from afar, as if her mere presence extends the Mass beyond its walls.
"That's right," she says then, almost in a reverent whisper, "God works in mysterious ways, which we cannot understand... let alone judge." They are the path you walk.

For a moment, neither of them says anything. There's no need. Mariela bows her head slightly, thanking him for his words. Father Ignacio opens the way for her, and she crosses the threshold, leaving the temple behind, but not its influence. Her walk continues... on earth, on gaze, on living faith.

And those who saw her pass may not understand everything... but they feel that something has changed in them.

As Mariela crossed the threshold of the temple, Father Ignacio accompanied her with a serene gaze. Beside her, still moved by what she had experienced, he said in a low voice:
"Their eyes are focused on you."

She paused for a moment, gently turned her face toward him, and with a slight but confident smile, replied:
"But your words enter their ears."

Father Ignacio lowered his gaze humbly, nodding. He knew what she said was true. She captured his gaze, his attention, his fervor... but in that reverent silence, in that profound devotion, his sermons reached, sowed, germinated.

It was an improbable balance, almost inexplicable, but real: she guided his steps, and he, her thoughts. He uplifted them with his presence, he nourished them with his words. And between them, without seeking it, they worked something greater.

The priest murmured, like a prayer that expected no answer:
"Then there is hope."

And Mariela, now with her back turned, responded softly:
"There always is."

As she left the church, Mariela found her husband waiting for her at the door, standing serene, his eyes full of love and devotion. Without needing words, he bowed naturally, offering himself. She accepted his gesture with a slight smile and, with grace and confidence, bridled him, saddled him, and climbed onto him, elegantly settling herself on her husband's back.

He began to advance with firm, calm steps, proud to carry her. She, standing tall above him, dominating the scene with her imposing bearing, walked a few meters in silence.

Then, delicately, she turned her torso backward, looking at the church for the last time. She raised her hand and, with a gentle and majestic gesture, waved goodbye, waving her fingers, like blessing someone with their gaze and thanking them with their soul.

Some faithful, still in the stands or in the distance, responded with a slight nod. Not one spoke. No one interrupted. Everyone knew they had witnessed something unique: a Mass, yes… but also a living procession of faith, dedication, power, and purpose.

And so, on the shoulders of the man who loves and serves her, Mariela departed with the same dignity with which she had arrived, like someone who not only walks among her own people, but walks above them and leaves an indelible mark on every heart.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (1) – Mariela's Entrance

At the church, Mariela is in charge of the premarital talks, directed at the bride and groom and their sponsors. In a small room attached to the temple, everything is set up: chairs lined up, a simple table in front, and an air of expectation in the air. The attendants—grooms, brides, best men, and bridesmaids—are already present, seated and murmuring in low voices. Suddenly, the door opens and Mariela enters.

Mariela wears an imposing riding outfit: high, shiny leather boots, tight pants, a fitted shirt, a sturdy belt, and a short jacket that accentuates her bearing. Her presence fills the room in a single instant. She doesn't need to raise her voice or ask for anything: the men, as if guided by an invisible force, immediately kneel upon seeing her enter. The women, on the other hand, remain seated, watching with respect and a hint of admiration.

Mariela walks confidently up the stone steps formed by men's skulls to the front of the room. As she steps over the prostrate men, her boots softly resonate on the bones. She reaches her seat in front of the main table, pauses for a moment atop two heads, and with a serene smile addresses the brides and matrons of honor:
"I'm used to it."

The ladies in attendance smile, without needing to explain. They know what it means to stand before a Goddess whose mere presence commands the atmosphere and sets the tone of the gathering. Then, calmly, Mariela invites everyone to rise. She sits elegantly, crossing her legs and swinging her leg, and begins the talk, where she will speak not only of love and commitment, but also of respect, devotion... and knowing how to recognize the dignity of those you love.

Mariela sits at the front, elegantly crossing one leg over the other, her boots clearly visible, her posture firm but serene. The room is completely silent, everyone attentive, knowing that her every word carries weight. She observes them for a moment, scanning the bride and groom, the groomsmen, the groomsmen, and the bridesmaids, and then asks in a clear, measured voice:
"Do you see how I feel at Mass?"

Some nod timidly, others lower their gaze. The men, still fresh in the memory of having knelt upon seeing her enter and feeling her weight on their heads, feel a slight trembling in their chests. The bridesmaids, the bride and the bridesmaid, look at her with growing admiration.

Mariela continues without needing them to respond out loud, her tone firm but not haughty:
"I don't do it out of pride, nor to be seen as superior. I do it because there is order... a dedication... and clarity. I know who I am. They know it too. And that's why they accept and value it."

She pauses briefly and adds, looking at the bride and groom:
"In a marriage, there's also room for that kind of surrender. It's not about domination, but about recognizing who holds whom, and when. Because love... when it's true, knows when to kneel and when to hold."

The room falls silent, not out of obligation, but because what she said hits home. The conversation has only just begun, but it's already left something in its wake.

Premarital Talk (2) – Muzzle, Dog Collar, and Dog Leash

Mariela didn't rush. Her pause was precise, almost choreographic. With all eyes fixed on her—some holding their breath—she continued with the same serenity with which she guides each word:
"We have a muzzle, a dog collar, and a dog leash... what are they for?"

Those present looked at each other, somewhat tense, unsure whether they should respond. The silence didn't bother her; on the contrary, she let it grow for a few seconds, allowing the question to fall with all its weight.

She held the ladies' gaze and said gently, as if each word touched the center of her chest:
"A muzzle isn't to silence, it's to protect. A collar isn't to subdue, it's to acknowledge a bond. And a leash... isn't to drag, but to prevent the loss of someone you trust."

She leaned back slightly, crossing her arms elegantly:
"All of that sounds strong, even provocative... until you look at it from a place of love. He who lets himself be led is not weak. He is strong, because he trusts. And he who leads with firmness and tenderness... does not abuse. He loves."

Then Mariela looked at the men present, one by one, with a frank expression:
"Do you want to protect your wife, your girlfriend? Give yourselves over. Do you want to lead them? Learn to be led. A collar doesn't diminish you. It connects you. A leash doesn't chain you. It reminds you to whom you belong."

She turned her gaze to the entire group and closed that moment with a gentle smile:
"In true love, there is no shame in serving... nor fear in letting oneself be led."

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (3) – Bit, Bridle, Reins, Saddle, Stirrups, Spur, and Whip

Mariela maintained her erect demeanor, her gaze firm, and with a serene but deeply confident voice, she posed the question to the group:
"We have a bit, a bridle, reins, a saddle with stirrups, spurs... and a whip. What are they for?"

Again, silence answered first. The couples looked at her, knowing that behind that question lay a deeper truth than the literal.

Then she continued, with the same calm as when she walks on heads:
"They are not instruments of punishment. They are tools of direction, of communication, of trust. She who holds the reins in her hands does not destroy the one who carries the bit in his mouth and the bridle on his head... she guides him. The saddle is not a prison, it is a point of support." The stirrups help her settle on her mount. The reins don't bind, because they guide. Spurs don't hurt if there is understanding. The whip doesn't strike when there is voluntary obedience.

She leaned slightly toward the group, without losing the elegance of her bearing:
"This isn't about strength. It's about will. About who yields, who guides, who supports. In a true union, he is the horse... if she knows how to ride with respect."

Her words weren't metaphorical for those present; they were real, embodied in her presence. She didn't preach from a concept: she lived it, she represented it. And before her, even the most skeptical began to understand that love and service, when clearly understood, are not chains... but choices.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (4) – The Challenge (1)

Mariela remained silent for a few more seconds, letting each previous word echo in the hearts of those present. Then, with a serene but firm expression, she spoke again, this time with a slight glint of mischief in her eyes, without losing the dignity of her tone:
"Do you want to practice with those elements?"

Some shifted in their seats. Eyes met: some nervous, others curious, most excited. No one responded immediately, but everyone listened with complete attention.

She didn't wait for a direct answer. She knew her question was as much an invitation as a lesson.
"It's not a game. It's not a mockery. It's an experience. To learn to trust. To feel what it means to yield and what it means to hold on. To understand that those who are on their knees are not always defeated... and that those who hold the reins don't always dominate by force, but by bond."

She paused briefly and looked directly at the men:
"Sometimes, just putting on the necklace is enough to understand how much the look of the person holding it is worth."

Then she looked at the ladies tenderly:
"And just holding the reins is enough to know how much respect is required to guide someone who trusts you."

Finally, with a gentle, almost maternal gesture, she concluded:
"If you want to practice... it will be with respect. With care. With truth. Because love, when trained in surrender, grows stronger."

And so, without raising her voice or imposing, she had planted in that small room the seed of a deeper understanding of commitment, one that goes beyond words: one that is experienced, honored... and chosen.

Mariela gracefully settled into her seat at the front of the room. She slowly crossed her legs, revealing her shiny boot, and began to gently swing the upper leg. That movement—elegant and deliberate—immediately captured everyone's attention.

Then, with a calm smile and a confident gaze, she spoke in a serene voice:
"Whoever wishes to practice... let them do so. And then tell us about their experience."

Mariela didn't say it as a challenge, or as an order. She said it like someone extending an opportunity. Like someone opening a door, but not pushing anyone through it. Her tone was firm, but also understanding.

Some looked at each other, others lowered their gaze, thoughtful. The couples didn't know whether to move or stay put, but something in the atmosphere had changed: a mix of respect, curiosity... and restrained will.

Mariela didn't push. She simply maintained her posture, her leg swinging slowly, her face serene and open. She didn't need to rush anyone. She knew that the most sincere steps are taken without haste.

And in that meaningful silence, some were already beginning to understand: surrender—voluntary and conscious—is not humiliation, but learning. And practicing it, even for a moment... can teach more than a thousand words.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (5) – The Challenge (2)

Mariela maintained her firm posture, her leg swinging elegantly, her serene gaze slowly scanning each of those present. The room remained silent, tense but expectant, as if everyone was waiting for someone else to take the initiative.

Then, without losing the calm or politeness of her tone, she spoke clearly:
"If there are no volunteers... I'll choose."

She didn't say it harshly, but with that natural authority that doesn't need to be imposed: it's simply acknowledged. Her voice, soft but firm, left no room for doubt. It was a promise, not a threat. And on her face, the same calm, confident smile, accustomed to order being followed without resistance.

The glances intensified. Some men gulped. The bridesmaids glanced sideways at their partners or sponsors. No one knew who she would choose... but everyone knew that whoever was chosen wouldn't be chosen as a punishment, but because Mariela saw in him a possible lesson. A useful experience. A moment that could transform more than it seemed.

And there, in that simple room, the teaching of love, guidance, and devotion became something alive. Not just spoken. Not just understood. But lived… with the firm elegance of someone who knows exactly what she's doing.

Mariela gracefully stopped her leg swing, slowly uncrossed her legs, and stood up smoothly, unhurriedly. Her presence, standing at the front of the room, was even more imposing. Her boots echoed as she took a step forward.

With a calm, enveloping voice, and a clear gaze directed at the group, she said:
"Please… one goddaughter and one godfather."

She didn't raise her voice. It wasn't an order. It was an invitation with the weight of the inevitable. No one dared to speak, but everyone heard her with absolute clarity. The couples exchanged nervous glances. Some women lowered their gaze, others kept their eyes on Mariela, as if waiting for something more.

Mariela calmly added as she scanned the room:
"I want others to observe. It's not to judge, it's to understand. Love, like respect, is also shown with the body, not just with words."
Her words held not a hint of cruelty or mockery. Only an almost ritualistic serenity. Everyone knew that if no one offered, she would choose without hesitation. But giving the opportunity was part of the process. Because in her guidance, there was a perfect balance between decisiveness... and generosity.

And so, the room breathed in suspense, waiting for a goddaughter and a godfather to step forward.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (5) – Luciana

Luciana, a young woman with a firm yet gentle gaze, stood up without hesitation. Her eyes were fixed on Mariela, but her gesture was not one of submission, but of understanding. With serene determination, she took the hand of her godfather—an older, respected man, perhaps somewhat skeptical at first—and invited him to rise with a simple gesture. He didn't hesitate when he saw the confidence in his goddaughter's eyes; he allowed himself to be guided.

Luciana wore a classic and elegant riding attire, carefully chosen, reflecting both authority and grace: a stiff, well-fitting black riding hat that gave her a sober and distinguished bearing. A fitted, long-sleeved white blouse with a high collar and gold buttons accentuated her figure without exaggeration, providing a clean and formal appearance. A dark burgundy riding vest, fitted at the waist, with subtle embroidery that gave her a refined air.

In addition, light beige jodhpurs, fitted to her legs, designed for comfort and freedom of movement, enhancing her riding posture. High, polished black riding boots that reached just below her knees, with spurs placed on her ankles, shining with each step. Fine brown leather riding gloves, which she wore only when she wanted to strengthen her grip on the reins, although during practice, she preferred to feel the direct contact of the straps between her hands.

This outfit not only made her look imposing and confident, but also projected respect for the symbolic act they were performing. Her bearing, combining tradition and modernity, conveyed that she was there not to impose, but to ride with intention, elegance, and serene command.

Luciana and her best man stood in the center of the aisle. The other men stood in two rows, facing each other, and then prostrated themselves. The knees, elbows, and forehead of each man were pressed against the hard, cold floor. Their manly skulls were arranged in order for Luciana to walk upon these stone steps.

Their steps forward were slow, almost solemn. No one spoke. No one moved. All eyes were upon them.

Luciana walked upon the stone steps voluntarily placed for her to walk upon, her sole and heel on her parietal and occipital bones. Each step was firm and resonant, accompanied by the clinking of her spurs.

Upon reaching Mariela, Luciana stopped, looked at her best man, and without needing any prompting, he understood. He knelt respectfully, not with humiliation, but with that strange mixture of surrender, dignity, and willingness that only comes from trust. Then he kissed the boots resting on top of two manly skulls.

Mariela didn't need to say anything. She nodded slightly, approving with a serene smile. She stepped around the godfather, observing his posture, and then looked at Luciana:
"Good, Luciana. You've guided him with respect. He has given himself willingly. Both of you have understood the principle."

Then she addressed the rest of the group:
"This is symbolic... but it's not a game. It's an act of mutual trust. Do you think she forced him? No. He has chosen. As true love should be."

The scene wasn't theatrical. It was profound. A simple act, yes, but full of meaning. And while the godfather continued kneeling, kissing her boots, and Luciana stood firm, stepping on the heads of two men, something on the faces of the rest of the group began to change: less hesitation, more understanding. Less nervousness, more openness.

The learning had begun. And they had done it not with a speech… but with an act.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (6) – Luciana Bridles Her Best Man

Mariela took an elegant step toward Luciana, her voice soft but clear as a bell:
"Luciana... a dog collar and leash, or a bridle with a bit and reins?"

The room grew even more silent, if that were possible. The question wasn't trivial or decorative; it was the heart of the ceremony. Mariela wasn't smiling out of mockery, but out of respect for the choice ahead. She knew that each symbol said something different, and that Luciana's decision would speak not only of her style... but of her understanding of the bond.

Luciana lowered her gaze for a second, thoughtful, and then raised it decisively. Her answer, firm but serene:
"Bridle, bit, and reins."

Mariela nodded respectfully. She didn't applaud or congratulate: it wasn't necessary. She simply walked to a small wooden chest on the table, opened it, and took out a simple, clean bridle with a bit and tightly coiled reins. There were no excessive decorations. It was a clear, sober, and symbolically powerful instrument.

Mariela held it up in front of everyone, and as she approached Luciana, she explained:
"The bridle is a guide. The reins are a connection. They are not imposed... they are accepted. And whoever takes them must do so firmly, yes... but also with tenderness."

Luciana took the bridle with both hands, with a slight tremble of emotion, but without hesitation.

Mariela then turned to the kneeling best man.
"Do you accept her guidance?"

The best man looked up at his goddaughter and nodded, wordlessly, but clearly.

Then, Luciana solemnly placed the bridle, she placed the bit in his mouth, smiling, he pushed her, and she tied the bridle straps. The gesture was delicate. He didn't resist. It wasn't humiliation: it was real and symbolic surrender. She took the reins. She didn't pull. She just held them.

Mariela stepped back, looked at them, and said to the rest:
"This is how trust is built: with consent, with purpose, and with respect. There is no dominance here... there is understanding."

And the entire room, still speechless, felt that they had just witnessed something deeper than a lesson: they had witnessed a bond.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (7) – Luciana is followed by her best man (1)

Mariela stood erect, her hands clasped in front of her, and with the same composure she displayed in every gesture, she spoke softly:
"Luciana, please... walk across the room."

Luciana nodded silently. Holding the reins in her hands, she gave a gentle tug—not out of imposition, but as if offering direction. The best man, with respect and serenity, placed his palms on the floor and, in a silent gesture, assumed a voluntary quadruped position. He knew that in this act there was no demotion, but rather a teaching.

The other men were prostrate in two rows, offering their skulls as stepping stones for Luciana to walk on. Luciana walked slowly.

Her steps were firm, but not hurried, her gaze forward, her bearing elegant. The bridle guided clearly, but without violence. She was the one leading, yes, but with restraint, aware of her role. The ladies in the entire room watched her, some with amazement, others with respect, no one with mockery. Because the scene wasn't grotesque or caricatured: it was a living symbol of the bond of trust.

Luciana's heels clicked against cranial bones, and the godfather shuffled obediently on all fours, in time with her rhythm. The reins hung between them like a silent bridge. No words were needed: only the mutual acceptance of the role each had chosen.

When Luciana reached the other end of the room, she stopped, turned elegantly, and waited.

Mariela watched Luciana with discreet pride.
"Thank you, Luciana," she said warmly. "You've shown what it means to lead with respect. And you, godfather... you've shown the courage to trust and be led."

Then she looked at the rest of those present.
"See? It wasn't about who's in charge." It was about who trusts. Because in love, in marriage, in commitment... there are times when one stands firm, and the other allows themselves to be led. And that's not weakness... it's wisdom.

Mariela took a step forward, her voice as always calm, but now with a deeper, almost maternal tone. She addressed the group clearly, but also tenderly, like someone who wishes something important wouldn't go unnoticed:
"He can't speak because of the bit," she said, indicating with a slight gesture the bridle the godfather was still wearing.
"Communication doesn't only happen through words... and through body language, he expressed his acceptance of being guided by his goddaughter."

Mariela paused. No one moved.
"That's marriage. Body language... is important."

She walked slowly in front of those present, her boots softly echoing on the floor composed of men's skulls as Mariela continued:
"There will be times when one cannot—or does not know how—to speak. Then the body speaks: with a look, with a gesture, with an action. And that is where the bond is measured. Because if you cannot listen with your eyes, and speak with your hands... you are walking alone."

She turned her gaze toward Luciana, then toward the still-prostrate godfather, and sweetly added:
"They did not exchange a single word... but we all understood the yes. The yes to trust. The yes to being guided. The yes to accompanying."

Mariela stopped in the center of the room, her figure erect on two manly heads, like a pillar of balance.
"When you get married, do not cling only to the pretty words. Pay attention to the silences. The hands that tremble. The eyes that avoid. The body that moves away... or that approaches." Because in marriage, what is left unsaid is also felt. And sometimes, the greatest act of love… is to stay, even in silence, and continue walking together.

The silence that followed wasn't one of discomfort, but of reflection.

Some nodded slightly. Others looked at their partners with different eyes.

And without lecturing stiffly, Mariela had returned to her role: teaching with elegance… and truth.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (8) – Luciana is followed by her Best Man (2)

Mariela delicately took a sober but firm leather belt. It had loops for tying reins. Mariela walked over the stepping stones on which Luciana had previously placed her beloved boots as she walked over them.

Mariela extended a belt to Luciana. Without further ado, the young bride-to-be understood, placed the belt around her waist, and with Mariela's help, the best man's reins were tied precisely, remaining attached to the belt, connected to the best man, who remained in a quadruped position, obedient, attentive.

Mariela returned to the dais, walking over the heads of men. She then looked at Luciana, observing the new arrangement with restrained satisfaction. Then, with a slight smile, she said warmly:
"Luciana, now... walk again. But do it freely." He's already connected to you. You don't need to hold on... just move forward.

Luciana took a deep breath and, with elegance, began to walk across the room on human skulls. Her arms, now free, moved freely. She placed her hands confidently on her hips, like someone who knew exactly what she was doing. Then, as she crossed the audience, she began to greet with small wrist gestures, blowing kisses, gently waving her fingers at those watching her.

The godfather, seeing nothing but the movements of his guide's hips, followed her precisely. The sway of the reins from Luciana's belt was enough to indicate the direction. She didn't need to pull, push, or give orders. The connection was already established. Obedience wasn't imposed; it was voluntary, cultivated in trust.

Those present, between surprised and admiring, saw in this image something more than a symbolic practice. They saw a living lesson: that when the bond is well-built, there's no need to be controlling... all you have to do is move forward, with conviction and grace.

Mariela nodded, pleased, and concluded gently:
"That's leading without chains. With presence, not with force. When a relationship is well-established, gentle gestures are enough for the other to follow us... and accompany us, with pleasure."

And in the room, what began as a symbolic exercise was already an experience many would never forget.

Mariela, standing at the front of the room, with her characteristic serene elegance, waited for Luciana to complete her tour. The room remained reverently silent, impressed not by the drama, but by the clarity of the message everyone had just witnessed.

Then, in a calm, enveloping, and firm voice, Mariela said:
"When there is mutual trust, with only verbal and/or nonverbal communication, both can travel together to the same destination."

Her gaze slowly scanned everyone present. She didn't need to raise her voice for every word to be recorded.
"There won't always be physical contact. There won't always be words. Sometimes, a look, a movement, a silence will suffice. If there is true trust, the direction is understood. If there is respect, one follows with will. And if there is love... one walks with joy."

She turned to Luciana and her godfather, still linked by the reins tied to Luciana's belt.
"Did you pull on the reins, Luciana? Did he need to see your hands to follow you? No. He only sensed your confidence, your direction, your intention." And she responded with confidence.

Mariela paused. Then she addressed the group again:
"This is how marriage should be. Not a struggle of strength. Not a tug-of-war. But a steady walk, sometimes holding hands, sometimes one behind the other, but always toward the same destination... knowing that if one stops, the other will wait." And if one moves forward, one will do so with respect, knowing that one is leading... and not dragging.

The atmosphere was charged with meaning, but also with peace. Mariela had said so much in so few words. And the group, slowly, began to understand that they were not simply attending a premarital workshop... but rather a true school of coexistence, commitment, and mutual respect.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (9) – Luciana's Spurs

Mariela and Luciana at the front, both standing on top of skulls, on top of the brains of four lucky men. The best man kissed the boots of his goddaughter and Mariela. Mariela hit the best man's head with the whip to get his attention, then she, with the whip, showed the best man Luciana's spurs.

Mariela's voice was soft but clear, like someone introducing a piece of a perfectly orchestrated ritual:
"Let's continue."

The best man saw Luciana's spurs, polished, pointed, made of light steel. Aggressive and intimidating, as well as symbolic, with enough shine to not go unnoticed.

Mariela addressed the best man, prostrate, but attentive, expectant. He showed her the spurs and said with solemnity and a hint of tenderness:
"Kiss them. They are properly placed on the ankles of Luciana's boots."

The godfather looked up at her first, and then at Luciana, who waited silently. He approached the spurs with respect, not as one obeying an order, but as one participating in an act of shared trust. He advanced on his knees to Luciana, and once close to her, with firm but delicate gestures, he bent down and kissed one by one the spurs placed on the ankles of Luciana's boots.

Luciana remained upright, serene, her breathing even. She accepted the gesture with the calm dignity of one who does not demand, but inspires devotion.

Once they had kissed, the godfather, standing on all fours, took a small step back, bowed his head, and waited.

Then Mariela spoke to the group, in a voice that was not authoritarian, but deeply pedagogical:
"Spurs are not meant to hurt. They're meant to set the pace. And whoever wears them doesn't use them on a whim, but out of necessity. In every relationship, there are times when one must remind the other of the path, the commitment, the direction. But this should never be done with violence... but with clear intention and respect."

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (10) – Luciana Saddles Her Best Man

Mariela approached the table with accessories and took with both hands a saddle specially designed for this kind of exercise. It was simple, without unnecessary embellishments, but firm, well-made, with soft stirrups and adjustable straps. It wasn't an object of mockery, but of representation, like everything Mariela used: a means of teaching through symbolism, not through excess.

She turned to Luciana, offered her the saddle with a look that spoke volumes than any instruction, and said calmly:
"Take it. It's yours."

Luciana, the reins tied around her waist, received the saddle respectfully, not as someone about to impose herself, but as someone assuming a new role with responsibility. Mariela then looked at her pointedly and, with a brief movement of her chin, indicated to the best man that he remained prostrate, attentive, serene.

"Now," Mariela said softly, "he is your companion on the journey... your foundation... your devotee. The symbol is complete when you accept that commitment with gratitude and firmness."

Luciana understood. She approached calmly, squatting beside the best man, highlighting the beauty of her face and hair, her generous breasts, her slender waist, her pronounced buttocks, her wide hips, her thick thighs, and her boots with spurs. She patiently placed the saddle on her best man's back, adjusting it without force, taking care with the straps so as not to disturb him. The entire room watched, not with morbid curiosity, but with silent solemnity. No one laughed. No one spoke. They were witnessing something that, although symbolic, carried weight.

When Luciana finished securing the saddle, she adjusted the length of the stirrup straps so that they were in the air as she stepped into them, then she stood gracefully. Mariela then spoke to the group, her words measured:
"This isn't about physical dominance. It's about responsibility. The one who carries is not inferior. The one who leads is not a tyrant. Both are in a pact... voluntary, respectful, and firm."

Then Mariela turned to Luciana, with a slight nod:
"Now, when you feel you're ready, climb on top of him. He's already ready, and he has on top of him what you needed to ride firmly... and you've shown him that he can trust your guidance."

And the room once again held its breath as Luciana prepared to seal the symbolic bond: not one of power, but of balance, surrender, and connection.

And in that moment, without spectacle or drama, only with the stillness of those who understand the act, Luciana prepared to ride slowly and sensually. And with that, the symbol of total trust took shape before everyone.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (11) - Luciana Rides Her Best Man (1)

Luciana took a step forward, took a deep breath, and carefully placed a hand on her best man's shoulder. There was no rush in her movement. Her ascent was deliberate, slow, full of purpose. Each gesture spoke of mutual respect, of shared solemnity.

Luciana first placed one foot in the stirrup, feeling the firm balance he offered her. Then, with grace and confidence, she mounted the saddle he carried with poise. His boots, adorned with the spurs he had kissed himself, rested against the stirrups placed on either side of his companion or mount. Once aboard, Luciana straightened her back, adjusted her posture, and stood tall, calm, and complete. She placed her hands on her thighs and smiled at her groom.

It was not a gesture of display or superiority. It was a serene statement: that of a person who accepts the other's commitment and promises to lead with respect and conscience.

Mariela smiled, satisfied. Then she looked at the group and said:
"Do you see? This is how a true pact is built: with clarity, with will, and with mutual responsibility. He trusted her by offering his strength... and she has risen not with arrogance, but with dignity. This is what love should be. This is what commitment should be."

And in that instant, beyond the symbol and the exercise, everyone understood that what had been represented there... was something much deeper than a scene. It was a living lesson about how to walk together, firmly and respectfully, in any kind of true bond.

The best man, in a gesture of absolute commitment and trust, was on all fours on his hands and knees. He was carrying on his back the chair that Mariela had given to Luciana and that the goddaughter had placed on her best man. Luciana climbed atop him, riding him carefully, with respect… as a symbol of the mutual faith they should have in one another.

As she rode, Luciana stood tall, fearless, her hands resting on her thighs, and smiled at her groom. Not out of vanity, but as a sign that she was ready to be seen clearly: authentically, without hiding.

The best man, with dignity, turned carefully, showing Luciana from all angles, not as a spectacle, but as a symbol of mutual exposure: in true love, one allows oneself to be seen as one is, with light and shadow, in trust. The eager men, bride and groom, eagerly admired Luciana's beauty, her pronounced curves, and her dominance atop the horse; the men whinnied.

"This is an act of shared dedication and strength," Mariela said, taking the floor again. Marriage isn't about who's on top or on the bottom, but about how we hold each other up, how we rotate together so the world sees we're a team.

Those present nodded silently, understanding that the scene wasn't just a demonstration, but a living lesson. It embodied the spirit of commitment: carrying each other, being carried when needed, supporting each other, and not being afraid to show oneself as one in the eyes of one's beloved and the world.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (12) - Luciana Rides Her Best Man (2)

The men present experienced a humbling and transformative experience, not because of the outward act, but because of the symbolic and emotional significance it held. They watched in reverent silence as Luciana, upright and serene, remained in the saddle, held securely by her best man. There was no mockery or bewilderment, but rather admiration for the confidence that radiated from the scene.

They felt respect for the courage of both: Luciana, for trusting another human being and revealing herself, dignified and confident; and the best man, for his humility in offering his strength as support and becoming a symbol of selflessness.

Many experienced an inner reflection, even shock. Seeing someone offer and give themselves completely, without seeking prominence or reciprocation, inspired them to reconsider their role in their own relationships. "Am I capable of offering myself like this, without fear, with respect, to support the one I love?" some asked.

The men learned from the godfather's act:
1. Giving is not humiliation, but love:
The godfather's act taught them that serving with love does not diminish anyone; on the contrary, it elevates the soul. Being someone's support is not being beneath them, but rather serving the growth of the other.
2. Trust is built through actions, not just words:
The godfather demonstrated that trust is not demanded, it is earned, by showing himself available, strong, and patient.
3. Dignity does not depend on physical position:
Being on all fours did not make him less worthy, but rather more courageous. He stood firm, silent, conveying with his body a message more powerful than any speech.
4. The beauty of commitment is in balance:
While one guides, the other trusts. While one supports, the other learns to balance. This is how lasting relationships work, with roles that complement each other.

Then, the men looked at their brides or goddaughters with a different expression: not one of dominance or superiority, but rather a willingness to support, to walk together, to serve with love. That was the true lesson of that act.
Amid the soft laughter and the emotion of the moment, a young bride, her eyes shining with what she had just witnessed, turned to her fiancé and, with a mixture of tenderness and enthusiasm, whispered:
"Would you like to be like him?"

The groom looked at her with a mischievous smile, still impressed by the best man's dedication and Luciana's trust. Then he replied, with that humor that lightened serious moments without diminishing their depth:
"I don't know if Luciana wants to bridle me, saddle me, ride me, and lead me using reins, whip, and spurs..."

Both of them burst into spontaneous laughter. The phrase, although said mischievously, was not misinterpreted by anyone. On the contrary, those present understood the meaning of the comment: the young man was saying, between the lines, that he would be willing to give himself with the same devotion if his partner guided him with love.

"Maybe I don't need spurs or reins," she said laughing, "but it's enough for me to know that you want to walk with me, even at a horse's pace."

"And if you ride, I'm ridden, without you asking."

Amid the wordplay and symbolic images, a powerful truth was clear: love is neither afraid nor ashamed of being supportive, nor of giving itself completely when there is mutual trust.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (13) Luciana Blindfolds Her Best Man (1)

Mariela waited for the right moment, while everyone was still immersed in the solemnity of the symbol they had just witnessed. Her voice broke the silence gently, but with the calm authority of someone who knows exactly what she is teaching:
"Now," she said with a slight smile, "let us learn to trust blindly."

As she spoke, she took a carefully folded dark cloth blindfold from the nearby table. She turned to Luciana, who was riding with composure on her best man, and held the garment out to her with both hands.
"Put the blindfold over your best man's eyes."

Luciana accepted it without a word, understanding that this next step was not a humiliation, but a deepening of the central message of the exercise: total trust.

With slow movements, on top of the saddle and stepping on the stirrups, she bent over her best man and delicately placed the blindfold over his eyes. She tightened the knot firmly, but without causing discomfort. He didn't move, didn't ask, didn't hesitate. He surrendered to the act with the same silent willingness he had shown from the beginning.

Mariela watched them and spoke to the group, her tone almost ceremonial:
"When one loves, when one gives oneself, there are moments when one cannot see the path. In those moments... all that remains is to trust. In the guidance, in the word, in the silence of the other."

She took a step closer and added:
"He doesn't see now. But he will continue moving forward because he knows she will not lead him anywhere he cannot hold. Because in every authentic commitment, there comes a moment when control disappears... and only mutual faith remains."

The group remained absolutely silent. The scene, powerful in its symbolism, spoke for itself.
Mariela concluded:
"Luciana, when you are ready, guide him. May he learn what it is to trust without seeing. And may everyone here understand that true love does not demand certainties, but presence and care."

Once the blindfold was securely fastened, Luciana calmly stood up. She gave no orders or used any words; she simply dismounted and stood on the first two steps made of human skulls and brains. She gently took the reins that hung from her belt, remembering the symbol they shared.

He took a step forward… and his godfather followed.

The entire room silently witnessed the moment: a man crawling blindly on all fours, guided only by the delicacy of Luciana's movement, by the slight tension of the reins, by the invisible certainty that he wouldn't be taken anywhere he couldn't hold.

Luciana walked up the stone steps composed of manly skulls and brains, with firm but serene steps, unhurried, allowing him to adapt, feeling how each gesture echoed the absolute confidence of the man who followed her blindly. Her hands moved with ease; Sometimes she greeted with a nod, other times she extended a hand to greet the group, always with that natural air of calm confidence.

Mariela watched them closely and, addressing those present, said:
"You are seeing him. He has no sight, but he has faith. She is not afraid, because she doesn't drag him along: she leads him. This is the heart of every lasting relationship: total trust, guided by mutual respect."

Luciana completed her tour of the room. Then she stopped, and her sponsor stopped with her. Not a word had been necessary. Only the certainty of connection.

Mariela concluded:
"If you can achieve this, without voice, without sight, only with a shared will... you are ready to walk together on any path."

And in that instant, the symbol ceased to be just an exercise and became a living lesson that everyone, deep down, knew they would always remember.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (14) Luciana Blinds Her Best Man (2)

Mariela, walking on stepping stones, took a few steps toward the center of the room, where Luciana and her best man remained, still joined by the reins, he blindfolded and calm, she standing tall and firm, two heads above him. With a look full of intent and a clear tone, Mariela said:
"Now, get in and ride again."

Luciana gave no surprise, only a slight nod, as if she had already sensed it. She understood that this new step was not a repetition, but an evolution of the symbol: to lead not only from the front, but from above, with greater responsibility.

She approached respectfully, placed her hand on her best man's shoulder, and, as calmly as she had done before, rode again. This time, without words. This time, knowing that he saw nothing, that he only felt her weight, her signals, her will.

Once seated in the saddle, she gently placed her boots in the stirrups. The spurs gleamed with a discreet glint, and the reins rested once more in her hands.

Then, Luciana looked up, took a deep breath, and gave a gentle signal with her body, whip, and spurs. The sponsor responded immediately, advancing with a sure stride, without hesitation.

Mariela, with her arms crossed and an expression of genuine respect, looked at the group and said:
"This is the true level of mutual surrender. He doesn't see, he doesn't hear instructions. But he feels. And he responds. Because he trusts. Because she doesn't abuse her position, she honors it."

And as Luciana led from above, without haste, without pressure, only with presence and awareness, everyone present understood that they were seeing more than a dynamic: they were witnessing the enactment of a profound truth.

A healthy bond is not imposed. It is built, step by step, until even in blindness... one can walk. And yet carry with dignity.

Mariela watched Luciana as she led the way masterfully, sitting firmly in the saddle, the spurs on her ankles, the reins in her hands, and her posture upright and serene. Then, her voice rose once more, clear and direct, so that everyone in the room could hear her.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (15) Luciana leads her best man using reins, whip, and spurs

Mariela paused, letting the silence prepare the ground for her words.
"Three elements, three languages... and one purpose: to guide, not to dominate. To correct, not to injure. To accompany, not to subdue."

Stepping onto the stone steps, Mariela approached the table and pointed to the whip in Luciana's hand, light, more symbolic than functional.
"The reins are the visible bond, the direct bridge between the one who leads and the one who gives way. With them, touch speaks louder than words. The course is corrected firmly, but gently."

Then she pointed to the whip in Luciana's hand.
"The whip is not to punish, but to remember." It's a brief, precise touch that says: 'we are here,' 'wake up,' 'attentive.' But it should never be used without measure or respect. Only when the bond is strong, when there is prior understanding.

Finally, he pointed to Luciana's ankles, where the spurs shone soberly, and said:
"And the spurs, a symbol of precision. They are not punishment: they are refinement. The slightest touch is enough to signal intent. They are used when there is deep trust... when a minimal signal is enough to move the other person forward with confidence."

He looked at everyone seriously and concluded:
"In an authentic relationship, every guide must know when to use each of these languages... and when not to use them. Because true power lies not in holding them in your hands or on your heels... but in knowing that the bond is so strong that sometimes silence is enough to move forward together."

Luciana, speaking of her godfather, needed no more. She held the reins, not out of necessity, but because they both knew the balance between control and trust had already been achieved.

And those present, in that respectful silence, understood that every element that seemed external was, in truth, a metaphor for the soul.

Without hesitation, without waiting for instructions, Luciana acted with the confidence of someone who had understood the profound purpose of the gesture.

Luciana pulled the reins, not to force, but to mark her presence. Then, with a small flick of her wrist, she let the whip graze the air with a subtle, barely perceptible sound and strike her godfather. And finally, she bent her ankles, allowing the cold metal of the spurs to touch, with precision and care, the flanks of her godfather, the man who held her.

It wasn't an act of power. It was an act of attunement.

Her godfather responded as if each signal were part of a language he had always known. He moved forward decisively, blindly, guided by intuition, by the connection, by the certainty that the one riding on him would not lead him into any abyss, but toward a shared purpose.

Luciana, firm and elegant, led the way around the room. She didn't look down: her gaze was straight ahead. She greeted those watching her with a slight nod. There was no arrogance in her gait, only clarity. There was no imposition in her posture, only responsibility.

Mariela looked at them and, in a low voice, said:
"She understood. She did it with everything: with the reins, with the whip, and with the spurs. And he trusted her. Not because she was weak... but because together they have formed a force that doesn't need to shout to be firm."

And so, with that scene vivid before everyone, the lesson was engraved in each person's heart:
in love, in friendship, in any true union... it's not about submitting or resisting, but about leading and being led, with respect, with purpose, and with soul.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (16) Mariela continues giving a speech while Luciana rides and leads her best man

Treading on manly heads, Mariela approached the center of the room, with a slow but firm step, letting the silence speak for a few seconds before her voice did.

She observed everyone: the bride and groom, the best men, the goddaughters. Luciana riding upright, with dignified bearing, and the best man riding in position, calm and serene.

Then, she asked in a clear and serene voice, like a guide not seeking to impose answers, but to provoke reflection:
"What have we learned today?"

She paused. No one responded immediately, because they knew the question wasn't rhetorical: it was profound.

She continued gently:
"We learned that love isn't about who commands, but about who trusts. That leading isn't dragging... it's leading with respect." That allowing oneself to be guided is not weakness, but courage.
"We learned that authentic bonds require clear signals, wordless communication, and a shared will."
"We learned that external elements—reins, spurs, whip—only make sense if there is a stronger inner bond: trust."

Mariela looked at them one by one and, with a warm smile, concluded:
"And perhaps most importantly: we learned that, on any shared path, each of us must know when to move forward... when to stop... and when to simply hold the other with all our being."

There was silence. But this time, it was a silence full of meaning. The message had reached. Not just the ears, but also the soul.

Luciana continued riding through the hall, upright, serene, elegant. Every step her godfather took—still blindfolded, still guided by her—was a silent affirmation of what they had learned.

Luciana's boots tapped softly against the stirrups as she swayed her body with absolute control. She held the reins naturally, without tension, like someone who no longer needed to demonstrate dominance, because the bond speaks for itself.

She passed by the bride and groom, by the best men, by the goddaughters. Some lowered their gaze in respect; others followed her in amazement. She wasn't seeking applause. She only showed, with her slow gait, what can be achieved when there is mutual trust.

Mariela, standing by the lectern, watched her with a slight smile and said:
"Luciana doesn't need more words. She keeps riding because the learning process continues. Because trust isn't given just once: it is cultivated. Because in every true union... you learn to lead and be led, again and again."

Luciana made another lap around the room, this time slower, more solemn. Then, with a light pressure of the spurs on her ankles, she signaled a halt. The godfather stopped precisely.

She stepped down with dignity, placing first one leg, then the other, without haste. Once on two willing heads, she removed her partner's blindfold and looked at him. He looked up. They understood each other without speaking.

And so, with that simple yet meaningful gesture, they sealed the day's lesson:
Love—like guidance—needs no strength if there is devotion. And devotion only flourishes when there is respect.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (17) – Luciana Removes Her Best Man's Physical Restraints

Calmly and carefully, Luciana began to undo the symbols of the exercise one by one, physically freeing her best man, who was kneeling before her:
• She delicately untied the reins, coiling them neatly, like someone guarding a tool they respect.
• She gently removed the reins and the bridle, unhurriedly freeing her best man's face, as if to say, "Thank you for your silence and your devotion."
• Finally, she removed the saddle, lifting it with both hands, and held it for a few seconds before handing it over.

Once everything was removed, she stood in front of her best man, who was still kneeling silently, his head slightly bowed. Luciana then placed her hand on his shoulder, looked at him respectfully, and said, "Thank you for your trust."

The best man nodded with a slight smile.

Mariela walked toward them and, looking at the group, explained:
"In a healthy relationship, everything that is placed—the burden, the structure, even the roles—can and should be removed. Because no guidance should become a prison, and no surrender should remain chained."
"Luciana has led. And now, she has freed herself. Because leading is also knowing when to let go. And that is love. That... is respect."

The silence in the room was different now: not one of awe, but of understanding.

Everyone now knew: what they had seen was not just a practice, but a truth in motion.

When Luciana finished removing each element—the reins, the bit, the bridle, the saddle—and offered her thanks with respect and dignity, the sponsor didn't respond with words.

Instead, he lowered his gaze... and with a slow, solemn gesture, he bowed even more before her.

The silence in the room deepened, as if the air itself held its breath.

Then, with a movement full of humility and gratitude, he kissed Luciana's boots. Not as a show of empty submission, but as a sincere acknowledgment: for the guidance received, for the care with which he was led, for the teaching shared.

Luciana didn't move. She didn't stop him. She just looked at him, calmly, allowing his gesture to speak.

Mariela, witnessing the moment, nodded slowly and said:
"He has understood that giving thanks is also an act of surrender. That there is no shame in honoring someone who has led with respect. That kissing feet—or boots, as here—doesn't make him less, but rather more aware of the value of the bond."

Then she turned to the group:
"Learn this too: whoever leads with their soul deserves gratitude. And whoever gives thanks from their soul also leads... to the hearts of others."

And so, the godfather's gesture was engraved in everyone present, not as a humiliation... but as a revelation.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (18) Luciana Rides Again (1)

The best man looked up, still on his knees. He didn't ask how. He didn't ask for directions. He knew exactly what he had to do.

Luciana, without hesitation, placed a hand on her best man's shoulder and stepped forward. He crouched down respectfully and decisively, getting into position: first on his hands and knees, then carefully adjusting himself so she could mount safely.

Luciana mounted gracefully, without exaggeration, without haste. Her boots shone, her bearing was serene. He wasn't wearing a saddle with stirrups, she no longer used reins or a whip... just her balance, her confidence, and the clarity that she needed nothing more.

Once on top of him, Luciana adjusted her position, firmly placing her feet on her best man's back, and said simply:
"I'm ready."

The godfather set off, leading her through the room again, as in the beginning, but differently. This time it wasn't a practice. It was an act of mutual honor, a deliberate repetition that sealed what they had learned.

Mariela followed them with her gaze, and as they moved forward, she said to the group:
"She didn't force him to carry her. He wasn't forced to. Between them, there is a deep understanding: she trusts and he supports her. And that is the essence of mature love..."

He paused, and concluded:
"...to love is not to carry the other, it is to hold them with pride. And letting yourself be carried is not weakness, but to accept the gift of trust."

Mariela walked slowly on manly heads toward the center of the room, her hands clasped behind her back, while Luciana rode naturally atop her godfather, without reins, without a saddle, with nothing but the mutual connection.

Then, looking at everyone with a mixture of warmth and firmness, she said:
"Now Luciana doesn't need any apparatus for her godfather to carry her."
"This is what true marriage is like: it's not based on external tools, nor on rigid structures, nor on others holding it up. It only takes two people..." she paused, allowing her words to resonate. "...no intermediaries, no instruments in between."

The silence in the room was reverent.
"The symbols we used before—the bridle, the spurs, the saddle—were part of the learning process. But once there is trust, commitment, and respect... they are no longer necessary. The bond sustains them. Mutual commitment guides them."

Mariela turned to Luciana and her godfather and added:
"They are no longer performing an exercise. They are embodying what it means to walk together, or in this case, to advance together, without needing more."

And then, with a look that encompassed everyone present:
"Love needs no embellishment when there is truth." All it takes is someone willing to lead… and someone willing to trust. And both willing to move in the same direction. That's all.

The best man was walking, standing tall, firm, and on his shoulders—elevated, serene—sat Luciana.

Luciana, with total poise and ease, gently placed her hands on her own thighs, a pose that displayed effortless confidence and elegance.

Her smile, bright and calm, was directed at the rest of those present: it wasn't haughty or defiant, but warm, like someone who has understood something valuable and wants to share it.

The bride and groom, the best men, the goddaughters… they all looked at her with a mixture of admiration and understanding. It was no longer just a symbolic scene: it was a living reminder of what can be achieved between two people who know each other, respect each other, and choose each other.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (19) Luciana Rides Again (2)

Mariela, standing next to Luciana and her horse, her best man, nodded with satisfaction. Then he said:
"Now look at them: there are no reins, no instructions, no weight. There is only agreement, will, and balance. She doesn't impose herself, he doesn't submit. They accompany each other."

And he concluded in a soft voice:
"This is how a mature love is built: on firm shoulders and genuine smiles, on mutual trust and shared direction."

Mariela, standing next to the group, looked at Luciana with a gentle smile, like someone willingly surrendering center stage. She made a slight gesture with her hand and said clearly:
"Tell us your words, Luciana."

Luciana, still standing on her best man's shoulders, kept her hands on her thighs and breathed deeply. Her gaze calmly scanned the room, connecting with each face.

Then, in a firm, serene, and warm voice, she said:
"Thank you for looking beyond the literal. What we've done today isn't about dominating or being dominated. It's about trust. About surrender. About knowing that I can be on top not because of imposition, but because he proudly holds me. And I respect him for that."
"Love, commitment, marriage... it's not just ceremony or pretty words. It's an act. It's knowing how to lead, and knowing how to let yourself be led. It's knowing when to guide with tenderness, and when to hold with strength."
"Today I didn't carry spurs, reins, or a saddle. Because when there's true love... you don't need any tools, just willpower."

She paused briefly and, with a sincere smile, added:
"Thank you for allowing me to show it. And thank you"—looking at her godfather—"for walking with me, you below me and me above you."

The silence in the room was total. Nothing more was needed.

Mariela nodded proudly, and her words were not long in coming:
"You have spoken the truth. And those who speak the truth leave their mark."

Mariela slowly turned toward the young man whom, until then, she had observed in silence: Luciana's boyfriend. His gaze was gentle but direct, like someone inviting, not demanding. Then, in a clear and enveloping voice, he said:
"Your words, please."

The groom stood. He took a deep breath. His gaze was fixed on Luciana, still perched on the shoulders of her best man. And after a moment's pause, he spoke:
"Today I saw Luciana from a different angle... and not just because she was taller. I saw her strong, secure, confident. And I also saw something very important: that strength doesn't make her hard, nor does height make her distant. She is still herself... but clearer."
"I am proud to see how she lets herself be carried away without getting lost, and how she guides without imposing. That is something I want to learn with her, and by her side."

She then looked at Mariela and added with conviction:
"I want to be the one who walks with her. Sometimes ahead, sometimes behind, sometimes below, sometimes beside. But always together. And always with respect."
"Because if loving is carrying, let it be with joy. And if loving is lifting, let it be without fear."

Silence filled the room again, this time with a different warmth: not of solemnity, but of shared understanding.

Mariela nodded slowly and said:
"Your words honor the one you love... and they also honor you. May your journey with Luciana be filled with balance, tenderness, and courage."

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (20) Luciana Rides Again (3)

At the end of the day, Mariela—with that serene balance between solemnity and closeness that characterized her—called the participants one by one.
Each couple, bride-groom and matron of honor and best man, received their certificate: a simple but meaningful document, sealed by the parish, signed by Mariela and Father Ignacio, and with a phrase at the top that read:
"Love is built step by step, shoulder to shoulder, with respect and mutual dedication."

Luciana, perched on her best man's shoulders, hadn't gotten off. She laughed as she played with her boyfriend, blowing kisses, waving her arms joyfully, and sometimes twisting her torso as if she were riding a festive ride.

Her boyfriend, below, followed her with his eyes, smiling amusedly, making knowing gestures, trying to make her laugh even more.

The horse, I mean, the groomsman, walked calmly, now accustomed to balance, holding steady and without complaint. The scene was light, but also powerful: it spoke of affection, trust, and living bonds.

Mariela watched them for a few seconds and then, without saying a word, smiled. Then she sat discreetly, elegantly crossing her legs and resting her chin on her hand.

That day, beyond lessons or certificates, had been a living lesson.
And she had simply facilitated it.

The room was almost empty, the chairs in place, the lights dimmed, and the soft echo of the last few steps resonated on the floor.

The groomsman now advanced with playful energy, simulating the steps and leaps of a horse: he lifted his knees theatrically, turned in circles, and even took small, careful hops, always making sure that Luciana didn't lose her balance.

Luciana laughed uncontrollably, her clear laughter filling the air like bells. She played with the rhythm of the movement, stretching her arms as if flying, greeting her boyfriend with exaggerated royal gestures, as if riding in a triumphal parade. Her boyfriend followed her a short distance away, smiling too, like an amused child chasing the game of the one he loves. At times, he approached and took her hand, or blew her a kiss with an exaggerated bow.

And from her place, Mariela watched. She didn't interrupt. She said nothing. She just smiled. A calm smile, slight, but deep. Not only because of the humor of the scene, but because she understood what it meant: a real complicity, a bond that had transcended symbolic exercise and become authentic expression.
That was love in motion.
And for Mariela, that was enough.
Because when love is expressed freely and joyfully, the lesson has already been learned.

Father Ignacio walked in calmly, still holding some papers he'd been reviewing in the sacristy. When he looked up and saw the scene in the middle of the room—Luciana happily riding on the shoulders of her godfather, who trotted like a steed, while a young man followed them with a lovelorn gaze—he couldn't help but stop.

With a raised eyebrow and a half-smile, he asked Mariela in a low voice:
"Are they dating?"

Mariela burst out laughing, that laugh of hers that flowed like a torrent when something truly amused her. She shook her head before answering:
"No, Father! He's too old for that..." she said, pointing with her eyes at the godfather, who was clearly over sixty. "He's her godfather. He's in his sixties, and she's barely twenty. The one following them, with eyes that almost fall out of his love, that's her boyfriend."

Father Ignacio smiled back, amused and surprised. "What a dynamic they have," he commented gently.

"An honest dynamic, Father. Without shame or duplicity. They love each other, they understand each other, and they play without fear," Mariela responded proudly. "That's also love, respect, and training. Not everything is learned in silence, and not all respect has to be seen as solemn."

The father nodded silently, watching as the godfather, although sweaty, continued to trot with dignity, while Luciana waved like a queen and her young fiancé looked at her as if nothing else existed in the world.

And then, he said almost to himself:
"Love takes many forms... and sometimes, it also has a sense of humor."

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (21) The Conversation (1)

Mariela approached with a firm and elegant stride, her fitted riding jacket still immaculate, the soft echo of her high boots resonating in the almost empty room. Luciana continued riding atop her best man's shoulders, smiling, while her fiancé watched from the side, with that mixture of tenderness and pride.

With a knowing smile, Mariela stopped in front of her, raised an eyebrow, and asked in a light but direct tone:
"Fun?"

Luciana gave a short laugh, still not subsiding, and nodded enthusiastically.
"A lot," she replied. "I felt free... safe... and heard."

"And elevated," Mariela added, crossing her arms and smiling meaningfully.

Luciana laughed again.
"Yes... elevated too."

The best man, still firmly holding her, barely murmured something like, "Whenever you like, miss," which drew another burst of laughter from everyone.

Mariela nodded, satisfied, and said, "Remember that feeling. Trust isn't imposed, it's built. And when it's authentic... the other person carries you without feeling less."

Luciana then slowly stepped down, affectionately stroking her best man's shoulder, and hugged him.

The room hadn't just been a place for exercises. It had become, for a moment, a space for transformation.

"Sit down, sir," Mariela said to the best man, gently, but with that firmness of hers that left no room for doubt.

The best man obeyed without objection, sitting slowly, still with a slight smile on his face from the experience he had just lived through.

Then Mariela turned to Luciana's groom, fixing him with a direct, interested gaze, not to judge, but to invite reflection. In a clear voice, he asked,
"What did you feel when you saw Luciana being carried by your godfather?"

The young man hesitated for a second. All the eyes in the room, though relaxed, focused on him. Luciana stood looking at him intently, her smile now softer. He took a deep breath and answered,
"At first... surprise. Then... admiration."
"Admiration for whom?" Mariela asked again, crossing her arms.
"For her. For how she carried herself. For how she trusted. For how she let herself go... without relinquishing control. And also for him, who held her so devotedly."

Mariela nodded slowly, pleased by the sincerity of his words. Then she added,
"That's the key: being able to look at the person you love being held by another, and not feel jealousy... but pride. Because you know that true strength lies in trust, not in possession."

Luciana lowered her gaze for a moment, moved. The groom smiled and extended his hand.
She took it.

Mariela looked at them both, satisfied. They had understood the exercise beyond the physical. They had understood the heart of the message.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (22) The Conversation (2)

Father Ignacio approached with his calm gait, his hands clasped in front of him, and a serene expression on his face. He stopped in front of the couple and the best man, looked at them carefully, and with a slight bow of his head, said:
"Congratulations to the bride and groom."
And then, turning to the best man, he added solemnly:
"My respects."

The best man stood, leaning slightly toward the priest, and responded humbly, but without losing that air of serene pride that had remained with him after the experience:
"It is an honor to be Luciana's horse."

Luciana smiled sweetly, lowering her gaze slightly, as the groom put his arm around her.

Father Ignacio nodded once, silently. He didn't judge. He understood.
And in that moment, her voice was barely a whisper shared between them:
"Sometimes the simplest service... is the most sacred."

Mariela, a few feet away, listened to everything without interrupting. She just smiled. Because she knew not everyone would understand what they had witnessed. But those who did... had been transformed a little that afternoon.

The room had already emptied; most of the couples had left with their certificates in hand, excitedly discussing their experiences. But Mariela stayed a while longer, sitting at one end, chatting with Luciana, her best man, her bridesmaid, and her boyfriend, who had silently approached and now had her at his side.

There was a calm air in that small group. There was nothing left to prove, only sharing.

"Riding another person isn't dominating them," Mariela said in a calm voice, her crossed boots marking a serene rhythm on the floor. "It's taking responsibility for their well-being, their balance... their trust."

"And being ridden isn't about giving up," added the godmother, who was watching Luciana tenderly. "It's about knowing when to trust, when to relax, and when to hold on without fear."

The godfather nodded. He looked lighter, as if the experience had lifted some burden he didn't know he had.
"When she was on my shoulders," he said, referring to Luciana, "I didn't feel weight. I felt meaning."

Luciana, now leaning on her boyfriend's arm, looked at Mariela and said,
"I've never felt anything so clear. They guided me without speaking, and I responded without fear."

"That's mutual trust," Mariela commented. "And in a relationship... it's more important than any promise. Because promises are broken when there's no respect. But trust well planted... sustains itself."

Her boyfriend, until then silent, smiled calmly and said,
"It's a privilege to carry you when you choose me to do it."

Luciana looked at him, her expression softening with a warmth only he could muster.
"And I trust you. Not because you carry me, but because you do it with love and without ego."

The moment stretched on a little longer. Unhurriedly.
They talked about the balance between leading and being led.
About how respect is the ground where trust grows.
And that sometimes, true strength... is knowing when to give way and let yourself be led.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (23) – Luciana Rides Her Groom

The best man, sitting up straight but visibly tired, took a deep breath and let it out slowly. He had recovered his breath after the whole experience: being ridden by Luciana, walking firmly, allowing himself to be guided without resistance, and then sharing his impressions.

Mariela watched him with that mixture of respect and mischief so characteristic of hers. She leaned slightly toward him, her hands on his thighs, her eyes shining with interest.
"Well...?" she asked in a soft but inquisitive voice. "What do you have left after having carried someone like that?"

The best man looked at her with a sincere smile, still panting, but with his eyes lit by something deeper than physical exhaustion.
"A relief... and a learning experience," he replied. "I didn't think that being guided and at the same time holding someone could be so... comforting."

"Did you feel less?" Mariela insisted, probing.

He shook his head without hesitation.
"On the contrary. I felt useful. I felt trustworthy. That elevates more than any title."

Luciana looked at him affectionately, her hand still on his shoulder.

Mariela nodded approvingly.
"So today you weren't just a godfather. You were a witness. You were a foundation. You were a path, you were a horse."
And after a brief pause, she added:
"And that, for many... is the highest one can be, it's as far as one can go. Because there is another who can do it."

The godfather smiled, this time with slightly glazed eyes, because he understood the message: He alone could become the godfather.

And everyone present felt that this exercise, far from being a simple dynamic, had left real, deep, and sincere marks.

Mariela, with a mischievous yet elegant smile, turned to the best man and asked in a gentle but meaningful tone:
"Do you feel strong enough to take Luciana home... or will you relinquish the honor?" And as she said "relinquish the honor," she shifted her gaze directly toward the groom, as if challenging him to stand up, not only with his body, but with his heart.

The best man took a deep breath, ran his hand down his neck, and let out a light laugh.
"I could do it... but I recognize that the honor no longer belongs to me."

Mariela raised an eyebrow, satisfied with the answer, and looked at the groom with a half-smile.

Luciana also turned to him, amused, as if waiting to see if he understood the moment.

The groom stood up straight, with a determined smile.
"I'm ready. If she chooses me... I'll take her wherever she wants."

Luciana looked at him sweetly, and without saying anything, she climbed elegantly aboard, leaning lightly with one hand on his shoulder and the other on his head, until she was seated on his shoulders, riding safely and confidently.

"Very well," said Mariela.
"True love doesn't compete, it takes turns. It doesn't fight to ride, it offers to do so."

And while the groom walked with a firm step, Luciana, upright and with a happy face, rode, while the best man and maid of honor watched them with pride and tenderness.

The day was over, but the lessons were just beginning to echo in their hearts.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (24) – Luciana Lends Her Horse to Mariela (1)

Luciana, riding high on her boyfriend's shoulders, on top of her groom, turned mischievously and gestured to her best man.

He looked at her, curious.

With a serene but knowing smile, Luciana extended her arm and pointed at Mariela.
"Be ridden by her, now!" Luciana said naturally.
"It's only fair. She's also been riding today."

The best man nodded respectfully. He understood that what was being asked of him wasn't a burden, but rather recognition. He approached Mariela, with a firm stride and a dignified demeanor, and stopped a meter from her, kneeling and slightly bowing his head.

Mariela looked at him, crossed her arms, and smiled, unhurriedly. Her eyes shone with that mixture of authority and tenderness that characterized her.
"Are you sure?" she asked softly.

"More than likely," he replied calmly. "I do so with gratitude and because Luciana commanded me."

"Is Luciana your owner?" Mariela asked.

The best man nodded.

Mariela approached. She didn't need any more words. She gently placed a hand on the horse's shoulder, and the best man bent down, squatting, then positioned himself for her to climb on.

Elegantly, Mariela adjusted her boots, slightly lifted her riding attire, and without hesitation, climbed atop him, standing tall on his shoulders, as if resuming her natural position.

From there, dominant but serene, Mariela turned to Luciana and her groom and nodded with a small nod of approval.
"Thank you, Luciana," she said. "You have a good eye."

Luciana replied with a soft laugh, "I'm just following your example."

And so, with the informal ceremony now symbolic, two Riding Goddesses rode side by side: Luciana riding her groom, Mariela on the shoulders of the best man, confident, elevated, respected.

In the silence that followed, everyone understood: Sometimes, gestures speak louder than words. And dignity, when offered from the heart, makes the one who serves rise alongside the one served.

As they advanced down the hall aisle, Luciana and Mariela, both riding with respect and solemnity, approached where Father Ignacio stood, watching attentively and serenely.

Luciana, perched on her groom's shoulders, held a luminous expression, amused yet full of pride. Beside her, Mariela, imposing and elegant on the shoulders of the best man, radiated calm authority and quiet satisfaction.

As they passed Father Ignacio, he couldn't help but smile slightly. His gaze fell first on Mariela.
"You always find new ways to teach," he commented in a low, thoughtful tone.

Mariela bowed her head slightly, without losing her lofty bearing.
"I only adapt the eternal to the language of those who seek to understand it," she replied gently.

Ignacio nodded slowly.
"And you succeed. Although sometimes your methods leave me speechless..."

Luciana, without losing her cheerful air, turned slightly from above and said:
"Father, one never forgets what one learns with one's body, with one's soul... and with a smile."

The priest chuckled, touching his chin.
"So be it then. May the love you inspire continue to elevate... without anyone forgetting that the highest is reached with humility."

Mariela and Luciana nodded silently. Their mounts continued on their way, and in that brief moment, everyone present felt they had witnessed something more than a class or a ceremony: they had witnessed a shared experience, a living teaching.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (25) – Luciana Lends Her Horse to Mariela (2)

As they rode together, Luciana's horses riding with a firm and elegant gait, Mariela turned her face slightly toward Luciana, with a smile that mixed admiration and mischief. She looked at the godfather who held her respectfully, showing no signs of fatigue or hesitation.

Then, in a low but purposeful voice, she commented:
"You have your godfather well trained, Luciana. You commanded him to take me, and he did so without hesitation or murmuring."

Luciana let out a light, knowing, but not mocking laugh.
"I haven't trained him... he only listens to me because he loves me."

Mariela raised an eyebrow, as if acknowledging a wise response.
"That's better than dominating. Being followed by choice, not by obligation."

Luciana nodded.
"And you, Mariela... everyone follows you out of respect. And admiration."

Mariela looked straight ahead and replied in a serene voice:
"May it continue to be so, Luciana. Respect and shared will... that sustains every true relationship."

The two smiled. Riding, the two riders contemplated the same path: one built not on blind obedience, but on trust, admiration, and silent agreements.

Mariela, standing tall and with an imposing presence on the shoulders of the godfather, turned her face slightly toward Luciana. Her tone was gentle but direct, as only she could when she wanted to impart a deeper lesson.
"Does your godfather love you... I mean, does he love you?" she asked calmly, without a trace of mockery, but with a look of genuine curiosity.

Luciana, surprised by the question, didn't answer immediately. Her eyes sought those of the godfather, who was now walking a few steps behind, diligently carrying Mariela. Then she returned her gaze to Mariela.
"Yes... I think so. But not the way my boyfriend loves me."
"It's a different kind of love. More silent. More devoted."

Mariela nodded slowly, with a half smile.
"That kind of love, the kind that doesn't seek to possess or claim, but only to serve, is also true love. Although different."

Luciana took a deep breath, as if understanding filled her chest.
"So yes... he loves me. And I love him very much too."

"The important thing is that you know and respect it," Mariela added.
"Love, whatever its form, when it's sincere... deserves to be acknowledged, even if not reciprocated in the same way."

Luciana nodded silently as her boyfriend walked ahead, steadying her. In that moment, she understood that she was surrounded by different, but deeply genuine, affections. And that, too, was a gift.

The godfather, listening to the conversation between Mariela and Luciana, couldn't help but look up at his goddaughter. His large, moist eyes reflected a mixture of tenderness, devotion, and a twinge of vulnerability. His expression, completely open, betrayed him: it was that of a man who had given more than he had ever said.

Luciana looked at him. That look, like a slaughtered lamb—so transparent, so naked—touched her heart. Then, with a warm but firm smile, she said:
"Don't make me feel bad... because I'm not a butcher."

He lowered his head slightly, embarrassed, and nodded silently, understanding the limit, but also appreciating the delicacy with which she had said it.

Mariela, witnessing the moment, spoke in a thoughtful tone:
"Sincere emotions shouldn't be punished, but neither should they burden others with blame that doesn't belong to them."

Luciana looked at her godfather sweetly.
"I value you, and I will always love you. Don't look at me like that... go on, smile."

The best man forced a small smile, which slowly became genuine. Because he understood that, even if it wasn't reciprocated in the romantic sense, his place in Luciana's life was real, worthy, and full of affection.

And sometimes, that's enough.

Luciana said, "You'll be with me at the altar; you'll be my best man."

Jokingly, Mariela added, "Next time, you'll be Luciana's groom."

Everyone burst out laughing at Mariela's joke.

Re: A Mommy

Premarital Talk (26) – Luciana Lends Her Horse to Mariela (3)

In the park, the afternoon was falling with a golden light that tinged everything with warmth. Mariela's husband and son were waiting under the shade of a tree, attentive to the arrival of the group.

As soon as Mariela appeared, riding elegantly atop the shoulders of Luciana's godfather, her little son ran toward her with overflowing enthusiasm.
He clung tightly to Mariela's high boot, as if it were a firm and familiar trunk. He looked up with that mixture of innocence and mischief typical of children and exclaimed in a clear voice:
"Mommy! Do you have a new horse?"

Mariela giggled briefly, stroking his hair tenderly, and replied without losing her style:
"No, my love... it's my friend Luciana's horse, and she lent it to me."

Luciana, who had been silently observing everything, looked at Mariela with a serious expression for a moment… as if evaluating whether this was a joke or a provocation. But when she saw the knowing smile on Mariela's lips, she couldn't help it: her face lit up, and she let out a clear, resounding laugh.
"I knew you were going to say something like that!" she said, laughing.

The best man, for his part, lowered his gaze with a shy smile, while Mariela's husband nodded cordially.

In that instant, everyone understood that there was no malice involved, but rather playfulness, affection, and a special complicity between strong women and their loyal companions.

Mariela dismounted from the best man and rode her husband, while Mariela advanced elegantly on her husband's shoulders, her upright figure projecting a powerful and serene image. Her dress fluttered gently with the movement, and her laughter traveled with the wind.

Luciana, riding on her boyfriend's shoulders, and next to the best man who had carried her, watched the scene with a mixture of affection and respect. At that moment, Mariela's son, curious and alert, approached her with short but determined steps.

He kissed Luciana's boots to get her attention. She lowered her gaze tenderly, and he, pointing his small finger at the best man—who remained still, almost ceremonious—asked with complete innocence:
"Can I borrow it?"

Luciana remained silent for a couple of seconds, processing the question. She didn't know whether to laugh, be surprised, or feel honored. She opted to smile sweetly, bending down a little to be closer to the boy.
"And what would you do with it?" she asked playfully.

The boy answered without hesitation:
"I'll ride it and give it back to you, just like my mommy."

The godfather let out a low, amused laugh, tilting his head slightly. Luciana looked at Mariela, who, from her husband's shoulders, watched the scene with a raised eyebrow and a smile that betrayed pride.

Luciana turned her attention to the boy and said,
"If the godfather agrees... then yes, for one more ride. But only because you're my friend Mariela's son."

The boy raised his arms excitedly, while the godfather bowed with a resigned but happy smile. And so, with innocence, respect, and a touch of humor, the little boy also experienced his moment of greatness.

"Come on, son! Give Luciana her horse back," Mariela said with a smile that mixed tenderness and mischief.

From atop her husband's shoulders, her voice sounded clear and soft. The boy, still amused by the brief adventure, giggled and, with small but obedient steps, walked beside her. At her side, her father walked upright and firm, being proudly ridden by Mariela. She, majestic, elegantly greeted those who passed by, her boots shining in time with her elevated gait.

Behind them, Luciana, now back on her usual mount, was on her way home. Her boyfriend carried her gently on his shoulders, while she settled in with a mixture of grace and confidence, her hair blowing lightly in the wind. To one side, her godfather accompanied them, walking silently, but with a look of serene satisfaction, like someone who knows they have fulfilled their role with dignity.

On that golden afternoon, the park seemed like the stage for a smooth choreography: Mariela and her family at the front, advancing naturally; and Luciana, gently led, escorted by the two men who loved and respected her most.

It was a scene of balance and affection, where hierarchies were born of affection, and gestures spoke louder than words.
