Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (1)

After those two empty and terrible annual vacations, I studied for another year at school and finished my studies. My Mistress Pilar was 24, and I am younger, 8 years.

The sun was beginning to set. The graduation ceremony would be in a few hours. The graduates were free to wear whatever they wanted. Some would wear suits, others their best shirts.
I… still hesitated.

In front of the mirror, I looked at the shelf where the bridle and saddle rested.
Neat. Impeccable. Waiting.

Suddenly, I heard the sound of footsteps and spurs approaching. I recognized the footsteps of Kassandra, my first cousin, 2 years younger, but a rider for several years. Each sound of her boots echoed as if marking the rhythm of something inevitable.

The name Kassandra evokes a woman with an intense gaze, a hypnotic voice, and a presence that doesn't need to shout: just enter, and the world changes pace.

From a very young age, she dominated and rode classmates, teachers... even parents,
not with arrogance, but with an imposing charisma,
a perfect blend of elegance, determination, and feminine power.
Her voice, firm yet warm, was impossible to ignore.
Her way of placing the bridle... ceremonial.
Her touch when adjusting the saddle... firm, precise.
And when she rode, there was no man who didn't lower his head, not out of shame, but out of devotion.

For many years, Kassandra had surpassed me in poise, determination, and dominance. Not out of violence, but out of nature. She was born to ride, and she did it with the grace and authority of an uncrowned queen.

In my room, Kassandra approached unhurriedly, like someone who already knows the space belongs to her, looking me up and down. "Stand up straight, Javier," she said softly, as if I were a slave or a horse of hers, which in fact I was and am.

She stopped. She did so with that measured slowness, typical of shapes who don't need to hurry to be feared, respected, or adored.
Her body, wrapped in a tight ivory blouse, shone in the soft light of the sunset.
The tight jodhpurs, perfectly outlined on her hips, enhanced her imposing shape. And the shiny black leather boots, knee-high and topped with golden spurs, spoke without words: of dominance, of a firm step, of absolute control.
The black gloves covered her hands with the elegance of someone who would never sully her power with violence. And yet... every movement of those fingers could change destinies.

Kassandra slightly separated her feet.
Her front heel—black, sharp, perfect—took a half step forward,
and her hands rested on her hips as if made for that pose.
A living statue of feminine authority.
Then she looked down.

At her feet, I was on my knees.
I gazed at her like one contemplating a divine revelation, or an unappealable verdict.

Kassandra didn't need to speak.
Her front foot was perfectly aligned, as if inviting a kiss.
But not vulgarly. With reverence.
She raised an eyebrow slightly.
Her honey-colored eyes, deep and sparkling, spoke to her without opening her lips:
"You are exactly where you belong."

And then, without needing a command...
I leaned down.
My lips touched the black leather of her rider's boot,
right where the curve of the shaft began,
right where dominance becomes ritual.
I kissed the boots, slowly and respectfully,
carefully kissing every square inch of the leather, the high heels, and the spurs.

Kassandra shifted her gaze to the saddle with stirrups and the bridle with bit and reins.
"So?" she asked.
"Are you going to wear a saddle and bridle or not?"

I didn't answer because she continued kissing Kassandra's boots.

Kassandra spoke:
"Look, Javier... you studied for many reasons, but we all know which was the strongest. That saddle and that bridle got you here."

Kassandra approached. She took the bridle carefully, as if it were a relic.
"Do you want me to put it on you?
Do you want me to, as always, bridle and saddle you with the bridle and saddle she left you?
Or do you no longer need help?"

There... I broke down a little.
I nodded. With a lump in my throat and moist eyes.

Kassandra smiled softly, without mockery, a slow, elegant, and definitive smile, then she said:
"Today you will dress as you should. Like someone who keeps a promise."

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (2)

Kassandra's eyes remained fixed on me,
at her feet, kneeling, head bowed, lips kissing the leather of her black boots.

Then she moved forward.
She didn't circle around me. She didn't avoid me.
She stepped over me.

With the ease of a queen accustomed to the ground adapting to her stride,
with the same grace with which she crosses a threshold,
Kassandra placed the sole of her first boot on my head.
I didn't move.
I didn't protest.
I stood firm, obedient, happy.

She supported her weight without hesitation.
The other boot followed,
stepping on my body with firm elegance,
and when she was completely over me, she paused for a moment.
From that height,
with her shape perfectly erect over her cousin,
Kassandra looked straight ahead again.
As if saying to the world:
"I am above what formed me as a rider.
Because now, I am the form."

Then she dismounted, with fluid movements,
leaving behind the man who now belonged to her.

Kassandra reached the tack room, took the bridle Pilar had left behind so many years ago.
She cleaned it with a chamois cloth, adjusted the buckles, checked the bit... and then looked at me with authority:
"Are you ready to ride her again, or are you still afraid like the previous times I put her on you?"
I said nothing.

Then, without waiting for an answer, my Pruna sister placed the bit on me carefully, with ritual precision.
She carefully placed the bridle on me, adjusting each buckle of the bridle over my head as if it were a solemn ceremony and as if she knew its history,
and finally, she placed the saddle on my back, securing it and fixing it with precision and firmness. With respect.

As she did, she leaned over me, her boots brushing my calves, and she said to me:
"Today I don't prepare you like my horses...
I prepare you like she did.
Because tonight you don't just graduate. Tonight...
you are reborn."

When Kassandra finished dressing me, she looked at me again.
"Now it is. You are complete.
This isn't just your graduation ceremony, Javier.
It's your homecoming ceremony."

I understood, because my first cousin's words—"This isn't just your graduation, Javier... it's your homecoming ceremony"—are loaded with meaning. Because she wasn't just talking about graduating from school. No.
She was talking about being me again. About returning to Pilar. About returning to the promise of finding Pilar, being her horse, and being ridden by her.

And I smiled with my head held high.
My back was firm under the saddle.
And the promise that the next time Pilar saw me...
I would be ready.

That night, while others were going to celebrate their "end of life,"
I was going to honor the beginning of my return.
Return to purpose.
Return to the bond.
Return to the promise that never expired.
Return... to Pilar.

The room was silent.

I was on my knees, my back straight, my thighs firm, my hands resting on them. My chest, open. My head was slightly lowered.
The same position I had adopted so many times in front of Doña Pilar.
But today…
it was Kassandra who bridled and saddled me.

Kassandra moved with absolute confidence, without losing her composure, like someone in total control not only of the moment, but of me.

With her high leather boots and the soft sound of her spurs, she walked in a circle around me, measuring every detail, every line, every buckle.
She held the reins loosely, already attached to the bridle that rested firmly on my head.
The bit was already firmly in place, reminding me not to speak. Only obey.

She stopped in front of me.

She looked into my eyes with that gentle intensity that only true riders possess.
"You're ready," she said softly, as if confirming a fulfilled prophecy.

Then she started walking again, gently pulling on the reins, making my neck follow the movement.
She didn't hurry her pace. She observed her work.
Each turn was an inspection.
A validation of what she had created.

"You are my mount, but also my mirror," Kassandra said without pausing.
"And what the world will see today... is what we carry inside."

Her words weren't questions.
They were truths. Declarations.

With each turn she made, her dominant shape.
Her fitted blouse seemed chiseled over her torso.
Her jodhpurs hugged her hips as if they were part of her.
Her high boots, tight around her legs, spoke of hours on horseback, of silent power.
And her spurs, small and silver, shone as reminders of her absolute dominance.

Finally, she stopped behind me.
He placed one gloved hand on my left shoulder… and the other on the base of my neck.

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (3)

God bless the first cousin ladies! (1)

Not everyone understands it, but a first cousin who truly knows us knows when to speak... and when to help you remember who you are.

Kassandra saw me fade away at 14.
How I walked with my head down, my eyes fixed on the ground where Pilar's boot prints had once been.
She saw me spend two entire vacations without joy.
She heard me murmur Pilar's name in my sleep.
She watched me put away the bridle and saddle as if they were sacred relics.

That afternoon, as I was preparing for the graduation ceremony, Kassandra strode into my room without knocking; she always did that.

She was wearing her riding habit, impeccable as always:
• A fitted ivory blouse, made of soft fabric, which outlined her firm breasts and narrow waist.
• Tight black jodhpurs, which highlighted her powerful hips and shapely thighs, showing off her trained body. An active rider.
• Shiny, high-heeled, knee-high black leather boots fitted her legs as if they'd been custom-made, with silver spurs that gleamed with every step.
• Dark riding gloves, which precisely adjusted each strap without losing the femininity of her movements.

Her face was striking:
Defined eyebrows, dark honey-colored eyes with a penetrating gaze,
high cheekbones, a straight nose, and full lips that, when not giving orders, offered a confident smile that disarmed anyone.
She wore her dark brown hair in a high ponytail, revealing the firm line of her neck and her upright posture.
Her tanned skin glowed with a healthy, blemish-free tone.
Every part of her spoke of control, discipline, and natural beauty.
She was young, yes... but she didn't need any more age to rule with just a look.

When she told me "it's your return ceremony,"
she said it because when Kassandra dressed me in the The bridle that Doña Pilar left me
and the saddle that Pilar never took back...
I wasn't just the young man graduating from school.
I was the steed that raises its head again.
I was the boy who promised to return.
I was the servant who returns to the path.

It was Kassandra who prepared me for my graduation ceremony,
placing the bridle that Doña Pilar had left me years before,
adjusting the saddle with that precision of hers, almost ritualistic,
and telling me in the same voice she uses to guide her horses:
—“This isn't just your graduation ceremony, Javier.
It's your homecoming ceremony.”

And then my heart leaped.
Because that phrase activated everything.
—“Back... to where?”
—“Back... to whom?”
And there I saw Pilar in my mind.

Tall, firm, with her hair tied back and her serene voice.
The woman who shaped me with her words,
and with her weight on my back.

Kassandra, my first sister, was always different. Barely two years younger than you, she was shaped by the same spirit as you... but with the poise of a rider. And not just any rider: an expert, a leader, a young woman who, since her adolescence, has known how to ride with authority over teachers, classmates... even her own relatives.

She is a natural rider who, like Pilar and other riders, knew what to do with me, not on a whim, but because she understood from a very young age what it means to bridle, saddle, ride, and lead a mount with respect, precision, and mastery. When she entered a room, her presence was felt. She has been riding for her teachers since she was 13, and no one dared question it. She had Pilar's bearing, a confident gaze, and an innate skill with the reins. and spurs. She was precise. Firm. But never cruel.
—“The key is knowing when to squeeze…
and when to let go,” she used to say while adjusting a bridle.

And that's how she rode teachers, school students, their fathers,
older and younger men and boys,
and yes… even our own parents, her father and her uncle.
—“It's not about rebellion,” she said.
—“It's nature.
I was born to ride,
and they, even if they don't say it, were born to be ridden by me.”
And I… her older cousin,
didn't escape her expert eye.

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (4)

God bless the first cousin ladies! (2)

The first time she prepared me, I was almost speechless.

I remember, on my second annual vacation without Pilar, my first cousin saw me sadly in the living room, hugging the bridle and saddle Pilar had left me. I was 15 at the time.
"Can I help you?" she asked.
"Do you want me to bridle and saddle you... like she did?"
I smiled in gratitude.

Kassandra did it.
My first cousin bridled and saddled me.
With firm hands, she fitted and adjusted the bit.
She placed the bridle like someone crowning.
She adjusted the saddle on my back as if she had always known my shape.

"You're not just my first cousin," she said.
"You're a mount with history.
" And no chair should be placed wrongly on you.”

Then we went out onto the street. It was a clear afternoon. Kassandra dressed with a precision that seemed choreographed:
• A fitted black blouse, which soberly outlined her firm shape,
• Dark gray jodhpurs, fitted from waist to knee,
• and knee-high black leather boots with silver spurs that shone with each step.
• She also wore black gloves, and her hair, tied back in a high ponytail, looked like a flag waving to her rhythm.

Although the town was accustomed to seeing women riding their human horses, that day something was different.

The way she walked, the way her shadow fell long over the street… the silence Kassandra provoked when she appeared.

Her black riding boots hit the ground with precision,
each step an affirmation of presence, of power, of certainty.
The golden spurs clinked softly, not as an ornament,
but as a promise of Direction, a warning of command.
In her right hand, the reins.
She didn't pull. She didn't hurry. She only led. And that was enough.

Behind her, I, her horse,
followed Kassandra's steps with serene obedience,
with that balance between submission and pride
that only comes when you know
you belong to someone else.
My steps aligned with Kassandra's:
one step back, one step to the right.
Right where she had taught me.
Right where I wanted to be.

She didn't look back. She didn't need to.
I was there, and that was enough for both of us.
Every so often, her hand gently turned the reins,
and I responded.
Not out of punishment, but out of bond.
Not out of fear, but out of loyalty.

So we rode.
She walking, I following.
The reins in her hand,
my will in hers.

Then my cousin stopped. The walk, then she stood in front of me, said nothing.
She just raised her hand.

And with that gesture, I knew exactly what to do.
I knelt.

She rode gracefully, unhurriedly, without unnecessary words.
And when the spurs touched my sides for the first time,
I felt no pain.
I felt meaning.
I felt purpose.

I was ridden by her through the plaza, the dirt streets, past houses and markets.
And there was no one who didn't stop.
Everyone looked at my first cousin.

But I...
I felt the privilege of being Kassandra's first horse.

From then on, countless times, my first cousin bridled me, saddled me, rode me, and led me.
Not to dominate me... but to remind me who I was.

And that graduation night,
when my first cousin asked me if I wanted her help...
I wasn't speaking from childhood or adolescence,
but from the Lineage.

A lineage of female riders,
of ladies who understand the power
of a well-trained human horse.

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (5)

After inspecting me with that blend of professionalism and power that only Kassandra could convey, she stopped in front of me.
Her fingers, covered by dark gloves, moved with precision.

She undid the bit's buckle.
She removed it carefully, without roughness, but without asking permission.
She held it in her hand for a few seconds, observed it…
and looked me straight in the eyes.
“Do you have something to say?” she asked in a calm, almost maternal, yet firm voice.
It wasn't a gesture of weakness.
It was a gesture of power.
My first cousin could allow herself to listen, because she knew obedience was already guaranteed.

My throat closed for a second.
I swallowed.
And in a soft, emotional, restrained voice… I said:
“Thank you.”

She nodded.
Just once.
But that brief inclination of her head was a silent blessing.
The kind of gesture riders give to a horse that has complied… and is ready to be ridden.

Then she replaced the bit. This time without a word.
She adjusted the bridle again.
And she gripped the reins with gentleness and power.
The moment had been brief…
but immense.

My first cousin had replaced the bit, and the reins hung in her hand as if they were born to do so. Kassandra's gaze remained fixed on me.
Then, in a firm, measured voice, she said:
"Hit the ground once if you wish me to ride you,
and hit twice if you wish me to walk."

And the world fell silent.
Only a single thud was heard.
A single thud. Knock!
The dry echo of your decision hung in the air.
Firm. Convinced. Irrefutable.

Kassandra, standing before me, listened.
At first, my first cousin didn't smile. She said nothing. She just nodded slowly, with the same solemnity as a queen hearing an oath of loyalty.
She didn't speak immediately. She just watched me, and then... she smiled.

It wasn't a wide, mocking smile.

It was a contained, confident, almost knowing smile.
A smile that said, "I knew you would choose well."
Her lips curved elegantly, and her eyes—those dark honey eyes, intense like the gaze of a queen who knows she rules—sparkled with a mixture of pride, sweetness, and power.
"Very well," she said gently.
But her tone wasn't one of simple approval. It was an affirmation:
"You belong to me... and you know it."

She strode forward, the click of her high boots marking a rhythm I recognized without thinking.
Her spurs clinked with each step, like ceremonial bells.
She adjusted the stirrups with military precision.
She placed a hand on my shoulder.

She positioned herself behind me. Her shape stood out with authority against the evening light streaming through the window.
With the precise grace of a seasoned rider, she rode atop me in fluid motion.
Kassandra's high-heeled black boots brushed my sides as she placed a firm foot in the side stirrup, and with agile movements, without hesitation, she rode over me.
Her weight settled and settled on my back firmly and securely, with the ease of something that should always have been there.
Her thighs fitted my back as if they were part of it.
The reins fell slightly to the side, but Kassandra didn't need to pull hard to make me obey her.

Kassandra, already in position, gently lowered her head toward me and whispered:
"Thank you, Javier... for knowing where you belong."

She gave a slight tug on the reins. She touched my sides with the tips of her spurs as a reminder.
"Walk," my first cousin said, her voice deep but sweet.

I obeyed. Not because I was weak. But because you had chosen it.

I walked. Carrying her. Feeling her. Knowing her as my rider... and my pride.

And so we set off.
She, riding over me, her shape upright, perfect, unwavering.
The reins firm in her hands.
Her dominant bearing, her gaze fixed ahead, as if the entire world were a prairie yet to be conquered.
The sound of her spurs marked the rhythm of our progress:
clink... clink... clink...

With every step, I felt the balance of her body, the weight of her authority, the absolute confidence with which she rode me, as if she had always done so. As if she always would.
But she wasn't alone.
Kasandra took up other reins.
—Yes, she took up the reins of another horse at the same time.

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (6)

Kassandra is my first cousin and also my rider.
She was dressed in her riding attire with imposing perfection:
a tight-fitting ivory blouse that highlighted her erect torso,
dark jodhpurs that elegantly outlined every curve of her firm shape,
and black leather boots, knee-high, clean and shiny,
crowned by golden spurs that clinked with authority.

Kassandra had arrived at my house riding Professor Sebastian, 50 years older than her, brilliant, respected, influential, the master, the man of renown, the authority, who for years shaped minds. But none of that helped her in Kassandra's eyes.
She remained upright, serene, dominant, on the schoolteacher's back.
When they reached the entrance, he knelt to let her dismount. She stepped down gently and elegantly.

Kassandra walked, her body and swaying hips moving gracefully.
Her old horse followed her obediently, tied to Kassandra's rhythm,
he guided by her will,
a step back and a step to the right.

In front of my house, upon reaching the threshold, my cousin stopped.
She turned briefly, naturally, without needing to speak,
she took the reins of her horse,
and without looking at him, tied them precisely to the wrought iron ring,
which hung on one of the gateposts on one side of the portal.
"Stay," she commanded, her voice low but charged with power; that was all she said.

He didn't resist; he obeyed.
His hands trembled slightly.
Not from fear, but from excitement.
He stood there, motionless, held by the reins,
like a statue subject to the will of its rider,
not like a prisoner... but like someone who knew his place was there.
Waiting. Available. Prepared.

My first cousin, satisfied,
simply ran her gloved hand through the professor's gray hair,
like someone blessing someone who served her well.
"Good horse. You're waiting for me," she said with a subtle smile.
She turned, brushed the dust off her gloves,
and strode confidently into the house, her shape outlined by the light streaming in from the open door.

In my house, Kassandra subdued me and rode, climbing in with the confidence of someone who knows perfectly well how to take control.
Her thighs settled over my back, her boots fitted into my sides,
and her weight became a part of me.

Riding me, Kassandra settled majestically.
Her firm thighs settled on my back as if that spot had always belonged to her.
Her black boots, with golden spurs, rested right on my sides,
and the metallic rasp marked her presence with restrained authority.

As we advanced, at the threshold of the front door, I felt Kassandra's body lean slightly to one side, and I turned 90 degrees to that side.

With firm and sure hands, with a firm but graceful gesture, Kassandra untied Professor Sebastian's reins, which she had tied to the iron ring at the entrance when she arrived at my house. That noose she had previously left tied now returned to her hands. Not with haste, not with urgency: with total mastery—like someone freeing something that already belongs to them by right. Without haste, with skill, she gathered them, partially coiled them, and held them next to mine.

Re: Lady Master and Lady Disciple

... from "Mother and Daughter"

Kassandra, my first cousin (7)

Now, two reins were in her hands.
My female cousin had two horses.
One ridden by her, the other led by her.
And without looking back, she led her two horses.
Her black gloves caressed the leather with the familiarity of years of mastery.
She adjusted them lightly, testing the tension.

“Let’s go,” my female cousin said, her voice soft, barely audible, but laden with meaning.
And then, with a gentle pressure of her legs on my back, and the nudges of her spurs against my sides, she urged me forward again.

I and the other horse—Professor Sebastian, the older man who had brought her—lowered our heads slightly and took our first step,
obeying our rider exactly.
Kassandra now led Professor Sebastian while riding me.
We moved forward.

And in that instant, we weren't three people.
We were a single force in motion:
One rider: a lady riding, holding the reins of two destinies,
one will: Kassandra's
two obediences. Out of respect, out of choice, and out of devotion
two distinct bodies, one to ride and one to guide, both devoted to my female cousin

From above, Kassandra's shape seemed larger than life:
straight back, high chin, fitted ivory blouse gleaming in the afternoon light,
black boots hugging her legs as if born from her very soul,
spurs clinking softly, keeping time to a new order.

Beneath my female cousin, I advanced, carrying Kassandra's weight on my back,
feeling Kassandra's control in every movement.

Behind my female cousin, followed her other horse: Professor Sebastian.
He made no noise. He didn't speak. He didn't look up.
He just walked with the rhythm of Kassandra's spurs above me, obeying the tug of his own reins.
That position was precise.
One step back: Acknowledging that he wasn't ahead.
One step to the right: Within Kassandra's peripheral vision, under her control.
He walked like a silent guard, a chosen servant, or perhaps a spare steed, waiting for the moment when its rider wished to ride him too.

And so Professor Sebastian marched, like a child being led to the first day of school, with the shaky discipline of someone who knows they've been broken,
but also... freed.
Kassandra didn't look at him.
There was no need.
He knew exactly what he had to do.
The echo of her boots and spurs was his only guide.
The most precise, the firmest.
The only one he obeyed now.

Kassandra, towering over me, seemed taller with every meter we traveled.
Her hair was tied back, her back straight, her gaze fixed straight ahead.
Her heels clicked and her spurs pressed against my sides, her firm legs holding me,
and her hands holding two pairs of reins with an authority that couldn't be improvised.

We moved forward.
The world didn't need to wonder who was in charge.
