Re: Diana

Leaving the Church (3)

Esteban crossed his arms, with a smile that didn't hide his discomfort.
"Diana directs with astonishing precision," he said. "She sits in the saddle on her horse's shoulders, steps in the stirrups, and guides her horses using reins, whip, and spurs. It's as if everything were under her control: every step, every glance, every decision."

Luciana listened to him without interrupting.
He continued:
"Sometimes I think she doesn't just guide people... she leads them, makes them move at her own pace, as if each one were responding to an invisible signal."

Luciana nodded slowly.
"That's what differentiates a true leader," she replied. "She doesn't force anyone to follow her; she simply inspires them to do so. Her strength isn't in her orders, but in the will she awakens in others."

From the back, Diana walked toward the exit of the church. Their conversation would remain etched in the minds of observers as a lesson: the greatest power is the one that doesn't need to impose itself.

Meanwhile, Esteban raised his voice, unable to contain himself any longer.
"Why can others carry you on their shoulders and I can't?" he asked with a hint of reproach.

Luciana stared at him, but her expression wasn't one of anger, but of understanding.
"Because they don't do it to boast or to possess," she replied calmly. "They do it out of affection, out of respect, out of gratitude."

She took a step toward him and added:
"You, on the other hand, see it as a competition. You want to prove that you can do more than others, when what's needed isn't strength, but dedication."

Esteban lowered his gaze. There was truth in his words, a truth that hurt.
Luciana continued, more gently:
"Don't try to carry me to show off your power. If one day you walk with me, let it be to share the path, not to hold it alone."

From the entrance, Diana watched the scene in silence. Her gaze met Luciana's for a moment, and in that brief exchange, it was clear that the disciple had learned well the lesson of balancing authority and humility.

Suddenly, Diana walked toward Luciana and Esteban. Her gait was slow, but each step resonated with undeniable authority. She stopped behind Esteban and, without saying a word, placed both hands on the man's shoulders.

Esteban felt the firm, downward pressure of Diana's hands, as if all the air in the room had concentrated on that touch. He tried to stay upright, but the invisible weight of Diana's will overcame him. His knees trembled and gradually buckled, until he was kneeling before Luciana.

Luciana looked at him, surprised at first, then understanding. Her expression changed from bewilderment to serenity. She saw not humiliation in the act, but a lesson.

Diana, still behind Esteban, said in a calm, almost whispering, but authoritative voice:
"It's not enough to want to lift someone up... first, you have to know how to bend down."

Silence filled the room. Luciana took a deep breath and, without taking her gaze off Esteban, replied:
"Now you understand. It's not about carrying me, but about holding me."

Diana removed her hands from his shoulders, took a step back, and, satisfied, nodded slightly.

Luciana stood before Diana. They stared at each other, one standing before the other, with an ancient calm that contained centuries of feminine strength.

Between them, Esteban remained on his knees, his head bowed before Luciana. The contrast was clear: he, kneeling; they, upright, serene, and confident.

Diana observed the scene with silent satisfaction, as if the harmony she sought had materialized before her eyes. Luciana didn't need to say a word. Her posture alone—tall, firm, luminous, serene—was enough to reaffirm what she had learned and what she now embodied.

The air became dense and reverent. No one dared interrupt.

Diana, without taking her gaze off Luciana, spoke slowly:
"So it must be."

Re: Diana

Leaving the Church (4)

Diana advanced with confident steps, her heels clicking authoritatively on the floor. Sensing the argument between Luciana and Esteban, she didn't hesitate for a moment. With a subtle but firm gesture, she approached behind Esteban and pushed him down with calculated delicacy, forcing him to kneel before Luciana.

Without releasing her grip, Diana continued to gently guide him until Esteban's forehead rested between Luciana's feet. The young woman, surprised but receptive, maintained her composure, understanding the control Diana exerted over the situation.

Diana paused for a moment, watching Esteban accept his position and Luciana greet the scene with respect. With a slight nod of her head, Diana reaffirmed her authority without words, making it clear that, in her presence, order and obedience were unquestionable.

Luciana observed Esteban's submissive posture and commented with some surprise:
"He offered no resistance."

Diana, with her usual air of authority and serenity, gave a slight smile and replied:
"He wanted to be like that before you, but he didn't know how to tell you. I only gave a little push."

Diana's gesture and her explanation made it clear that everything had been handled with precision: no real conflict, only the manifestation of a repressed will that she had gently guided. Luciana nodded, understanding the dynamic, while Esteban remained kneeling, wordlessly accepting his position and acknowledging the authority of both women.

Esteban, kneeling, bowed his head respectfully and began kissing Luciana's boots. Each touch was measured, reverent, a silent gesture of devotion and acknowledgment of the authority she represented.

Luciana, although surprised by the young man's submission, maintained her composure, accepting the gesture with a slight nod of approval. Her gaze met Diana's, who watched the scene with satisfaction, aware that Esteban's obedience was consolidating under their influence.

The atmosphere was permeated with a mixture of respect and restrained tension: the dynamic of hierarchy and devotion was evident, and Esteban's every move reinforced the order that Diana and Luciana silently but undeniably exercised.

Vanessa, watching the transmission from the bionic eye, smiled with a mixture of amazement and approval:
"Diana doesn't force, she reveals. She showed what Esteban already had inside, and now Luciana receives it as if it had always been her place."

Galatea nodded slowly, carefully observing every gesture in the scene:
"Exactly. True authority isn't imposing, but making repressed will manifest. Diana guides him... and Esteban is grateful to be kneeling."

The general, shaken by what he saw and felt from a distance, murmured in a broken voice:
"It's... inevitable... I would bow too... even if no one asked me to."
His breathing quickened, recognizing that the scene not only moved him, but also awakened in him the same need for obedience he saw in Esteban.

Re: Diana

Leaving the Church (5)

Luciana, with a smile somewhere between melancholic and proud, looked at Esteban kneeling and spoke in a serene voice:
"I had a boyfriend, León, who played at being my little horse... until he became a horse, figuratively and literally."

Her tone was calm, almost like a historical account, but charged with the authority that always accompanied her. Esteban lowered his head a little more, absorbing the comparison and understanding that the game of submission and obedience he was playing had clear precedents, and that he should be respectful and diligent in his attitude.

Diana, to one side, observed her in silence, with the same calm with which a lake reflects an approaching storm. She looked at her with silent approval, recognizing the way Luciana conveyed her authority and consolidated the hierarchy in front of the young man. The scene was clear: every gesture of obedience reinforced the dynamic of control and respect among everyone present.

Luciana spoke in a calm tone, but one laden with warning and reflection:
"Be careful, Diana," she said. "Any day now, your husband and stepson could be transformed into two equine horses... and you transformed them."

Diana, maintaining her haughty posture, listened to the words without losing her composure. Her eyes shone with a mixture of amusement and satisfaction, aware of the power she wielded over them.
"I'm not worried," she replied in a firm, melodious voice. "What I do is not accidental; every action has its purpose. They obey me, and that ensures everything remains under control."

Luciana nodded slightly, understanding Diana's clarity and resolve. The warning wasn't a reproach, but an acknowledgment of the absolute power Diana wielded, and the scene was marked by the elegant tension between caution and authority, while Esteban remained kneeling, aware of the hierarchy in which he was immersed.

Vanessa and Galatea watched the scene in silence through the research center's screens. The contrast in tones—Luciana's serenity, Diana's haughtiness, and Esteban's submission—captured her full attention.

Vanessa was the first to speak, an intrigued smile on her lips:
"Did you hear her, Galatea? Luciana isn't playing games... she knows this 'transformation' is as real as Esteban's obedience."

Galatea narrowed her eyes, resting her elbows on the control table, as if analyzing each word like scientific data:
"Yes... and the interesting thing is that Diana didn't flinch. Luciana warned her, but Diana took it as confirmation of her dominance. It's as if the possibility of turning them into horses was more of a privilege than a risk.

Vanessa laughed softly, a low, seductive sound:
"Power doesn't intimidate her, Galatea... it turns her on."

The general, for his part, felt a shiver run through his body. The name "Leon" echoed in his mind, heavy with mystery, as if those words had been a spell. Instinctively, he brought a hand to his chest, where the echo of the whip still seemed to hurt, and murmured, almost trembling:
"Horses... turned from men? And could Diana do it too...?"

Galatea turned slightly toward him, without losing her composure:
"You see what I'm saying, General? You feel it. It's the strength of Diana's will, and the way Luciana recognizes her."

The general closed his eyes for a moment, his face twisted between fear and fascination. In a whisper, almost as if praying, he blurted out:
"If they wanted... I, too, would end up turned into a horse."

Vanessa, hearing this, smiled mischievously and replied in a seductive tone, leaning slightly toward him:
"You don't need to transform, General... you're already neighing inside."

The tension in the research center hung in the air: Vanessa and Galatea analyzed, the general trembled, and the screen continued to show Diana, Luciana, and Esteban, like pieces in an order where each gesture and word had an unquestionable symbolic weight.

Re: Diana

Leaving the church (6)

Luciana said, "I was like you, Diana, and I know I can be again. That's why I oppose you. I do it for myself, so that my transformative power doesn't resurface, and for you, so that you don't lose those you love."

The temple fell into an even deeper silence, as if the stones themselves heard the echo of Luciana's words.

Vanessa and Galatea held their breath for a second upon hearing Luciana's words. The research center room fell into an electric silence.

Vanessa slowly placed her hand on the table, without taking her eyes off the screen:
"Did you hear that, Galatea?" she whispered. "It's not just a warning... it's a confession. Luciana is revealing that she herself was like Diana... and that she still fears her own power."

Galatea nodded slowly, her gaze fixed and analytical, her tone low and almost reverent:
"It's a mirror. Luciana sees herself in Diana and is setting a limit for herself so she doesn't lose herself again. That makes this scene even more powerful: it's not just control, it's containment."

Vanessa bit her lip, intrigued:
"So Luciana isn't just a witness or a rival... she's the only one who can speak to Diana from that same place."

The general, who had been listening and watching without blinking, shuddered with visible unease. He brought his hand to his face and murmured in a trembling voice:
"Transform... contain... resist... How much power do these women have?"

Galatea turned her head slightly toward him, with a calmness that contrasted with her unease:
"General, you're witnessing a dialogue between two equal forces, but at different times in their lives. Diana could listen... or ignore it."

The general swallowed, still staring at the screen:
"It's like looking at a mirror that could break... and I wouldn't know which side I'd end up on."

Vanessa, with her smile somewhere between playful and serious, looked at him sideways and whispered:
"That's what happens when you're faced with true power, General. You wonder what part of you is still yours."

The three gazes—Vanessa's, Galatea's, and the general's—returned to the image on the screen, where Luciana and Diana remained face to face, in a moment that felt more ritual than conversation.

Diana, with a sincere and curious smile, asked:
"You're talking about transforming men into horses. Do you mean that in a literary or poetic sense... or in a real sense?"

Luciana held her gaze. Her voice was soft, but full of certainty:
"Both."

The silence that followed seemed to stop time. The breeze from the temple cooled, and for a moment, not even the echoes dared to move.

Diana didn't smile anymore; she only nodded slowly, like someone who had just heard something that confirmed what she feared... or what she longed for.

Diana's imagination soared.
She saw men transforming before her, not by spell, but by choice; by the invisible force born of desire and surrender. She saw faces she knew—Stephen, Charles, even Leon—bowing, merging their humanity with something older, more instinctive.

She understood that Luciana wasn't speaking in metaphors: she was speaking of a possible destiny, of a power that isn't invented, but awakened.

A shudder ran through Diana's body. Her breathing deepened, her eyes shone with a new certainty.

Fear and fascination mingled within her, and in that mixture burned a determination.

She advanced toward Luciana, step by step, without looking away.
His voice sounded low but firm, like a self-revealing oath:
"Then... teach me."

Re: Diana

Riding after Leaving the Church (1)

Diana's response surprised Luciana, although her face remained serene.
A brief smile crossed her lips; it wasn't mockery or pride, but the acknowledgment of a promise kept.

Luciana turned toward the temple exit. The evening light entered through the door, gilding the columns and enveloping her like a cloak.

Outside, Charles stood, still, silent, as if sensing something was about to change. He waited by the temple wall, bridled and saddled, his reins tied to an iron ring.

Luciana advanced toward him, approaching slowly, carrying with her the calm of one who knows what she must do, letting her voice and her composure do what force could not. She stroked the animal's neck, spoke in whispers, and the restless gleam in the steed's eyes became tame.

Diana followed her with her gaze, feeling that Luciana's every step was also an invitation to cross an invisible threshold.

Luciana turned to Diana and said in a calm voice:
"You can prepare Esteban to accompany you."

It wasn't an order, but a commitment.
There was trust in those words, but also a veiled warning: whoever leads another, also transforms.

Diana nodded, understanding the double meaning. She looked at Esteban on his knees, and perceived in him the mixture of respect and willingness that arises when someone chooses to follow without being forced to.

The light coming through the temple door illuminated their faces. Outside, the wind stirred the dust of the road, as if waiting for the start of a new march.

Then Diana prepared Esteban, the other horse. She adjusted the bridle and saddle, checking the straps, as if every movement were part of an ancient ritual.

There were no words between the two ladies; The glance they shared was enough to understand that they were preparing for different paths, but ones born of the same impulse.

Diana and Luciana took the same path.
The sun was setting behind the hills, dyeing the dust of the road with reflections of copper and fire.

Carlos advanced, ridden by Luciana; Esteban was Diana's horse.

Both rider-horse pairs advanced at the same pace, in silence, as if each step were part of an ancient choreography.

Sometimes Diana glanced sideways at Luciana, and Luciana responded with a slight smile: neither defiance nor surrender, but acknowledgment.

The path opened before them like a shared promise, a route on which each would learn to guide and be guided.

Suddenly, a steed appeared on the road. Its coat shone with the reflection of the setting sun, and the air vibrated with its presence.

Luciana calmly dismounted. She advanced toward the animal without fear, with the gentleness of one who understands the language of free creatures.

The steed snorted, restless at first, but Luciana's hands and words were soothing music. Little by little, the animal yielded, bringing its muzzle closer until she could touch it.

Then, without violence, Luciana took the reins and held them between her fingers, not as one who dominates, but as one who establishes a pact.

Re: Diana

Riding after leaving the church (2)

Diana watched intently.

Luciana didn't need surprise or force. Her caresses, her voice, and the sweetness of her words were enough.

The steed, which at first was pure energy, bowed its head and surrendered itself to Luciana without resistance, as if it had been waiting for her forever.

Diana understood then that true dominion is not born of power, but of harmony.

Diana remained motionless, watching the steed rest peacefully beside Luciana.
She felt something inside her open, like a door she hadn't known existed until then.

She understood that strength lies not in subduing, but in attracting; that true power does not demand, but inspires.
Luciana's hands had not subdued the steed: they had convinced it with tenderness, with respect, with that kind of love that doesn't demand obedience, but trust.

“This must be the way it is,” Diana thought, remembering her own words inside the temple. But now she understood their true meaning.
The dominion born of fear is broken; that born of harmony endures.

And as the sun descended over the path, Diana knew that the journey she and Luciana shared was just beginning, and that their apprenticeship would be long, silent, and profound.

Diana rode Esteban, advancing steadily along the path.

Luciana, grasping the reins of her newly acquired steed, approached Diana and, without a word, handed her the reins of Charles.

It was a simple gesture, but full of meaning: a transfer of trust, a silent handover between masters of the same art.

Luciana remained with her new steed; Diana, with the responsibility of guiding Esteban and Charles, who had previously belonged to her mentor.

For a moment, their gazes met.
No words were necessary: both knew that this exchange marked the beginning of a new era, where power was inherited not by mandate, but by understanding.

The sun fell slantingly over the dusty path, igniting golden reflections in the air.

Diana was dressed in black: a wide-brimmed hat, dark sunglasses, a tight top, and tight shorts of the same shade. Her gloves and high boots completed an imposing, almost enigmatic figure, like a determined shadow in the twilight.

Beside her, Luciana contrasted in earth tones: a brown hat, a tight white blouse, and tight deep blue jeans. The gloves and boots, also brown, anchored her to the warmth of the landscape.

Together, they seemed like two complementary forces: night and afternoon, mystery and clarity, drive and calm.

The silence between them was not distance, but understanding. The journey continued, and the horizon awaited them.

With a confident movement, Luciana lifted one leg and placed her foot in the stirrup.
With a nimble burst, she climbed into the saddle and swung her other leg over to the other side, adjusting her stance with effortless authority.

The saddle's leather creaked under her weight, and the reins drew a slight arc through her gloved hands.

For a moment, the steed seemed to measure her; then it obeyed the gentle tug that guided it forward.

Luciana straightened, the sun reflecting off her glasses, and everything about her—from her bearing to the way she held the reins—spoke of control, confidence, and experience.

Re: Diana

The Transformation (1)

The night was dark, and the air smelled of damp earth.

Diana and Luciana rode, lighting the way with their lanterns, whose beams opened a golden path through the shadows.

Luciana rode her steed, steady and attentive to the rhythm of his footsteps; Diana rode on Esteban's shoulders, while Carlos walked beside her, making sure the light didn't go out.

The silence of the forest was only broken by the rustling of leaves and the rhythmic sound of footsteps.

They didn't speak, but each knew their place in that small group.

The path enveloped them, and the darkness became less frightening with the light they shared.

The path remained dark, but a silver glow was beginning to emerge on the horizon.

"The full moon will rise soon," Luciana said, looking up at the sky.

"In the light of the full moon, men transform into werewolves," Diana commented with a slight, almost mocking smile.

Luciana turned her face toward her. In her eyes, the reflection of the lantern already looked like a lunar glimmer.
"They aren't the only ones who transform in the light of the full moon," she replied softly.

A thick silence fell over the group.

Even the horses, equine and human, seemed to hold their breath, as if they understood the weight of those words.

The full moon emerged behind the mountains, round and majestic.
Its silver light spilled over the world, covering the landscape with an almost unreal radiance.
The trees, stones, faces, and bodies seemed made of living silver; even the animals raised their heads, as if recognizing an ancient call.

For an instant, everything stopped.
There were no shadows, only light.
The night was no longer dark: it was an extension of the moon's brilliance, and in that suspended silence, something in the air began to change.

Luciana raised a hand.
"Stop!" she ordered in a firm voice.

The group froze instantly.
The silence, barely broken by the distant whinny of a horse, hung suspended in the moonlight.

With a gentle tug on the reins, Luciana brought her steed around. The silver glow of the star was reflected in her determined gaze and on the surface of the harness.

Now, in front of her, stood Diana riding Stephen; and Charles.
The shadows of the four lengthened on the silver earth, as if the moon itself were observing this encounter.

Luciana halted her steed and, in the glow of the full moon, stared at the three in front of her.

Her voice sounded clear, deep, as if the air itself tensed to hear her. "Do you remember what I told you about León, my ex-boyfriend?" she asked, without taking her eyes off Diana.

The wind stirred her hair and silence reigned again.
Diana raised an eyebrow, while Esteban and Carlos exchanged uneasy glances.

Re: Diana

The Transformation (2)

Diana replied:
"You told me he liked being your horse, and he literally transformed into one of them."

Luciana smiled, barely, a hint of a smile forming on her lips.
The silvery moonlight highlighted the sparkle of her eyes behind her glasses.
"That's right," she replied calmly. "He thought it was all a game, until the moon reached him."

That brilliance enveloped him... and when dawn came, he was no longer the same.

The steed she was riding whinnied, nodding its head as if it understood every word.

Carlos took a step back, while Diana watched him with a mixture of curiosity and caution.

The moonlight grew stronger, bathing the steed in a liquid, vibrant light.

Luciana, riding it, felt trembling throughout her body. The animal whinnied, its breathing labored, and a surge of energy coursed through it.

Diana, Esteban, and Carlos watched in silence. The steed's skin seemed to ripple in the light, its muscles contracted, its bones shifted, as if something inside it was trying to break out.

Luciana didn't move away. She gripped the reins firmly and spoke barely above a whisper:
"It's time, León."

Then the whinny broke into a human moan.

The steed's body transformed, little by little, until, on the ground beneath her, lay a naked man, panting, his eyes open to the moon.

Luciana remained on him, riding alongside him, dominating the scene with the calm of someone who knew exactly what was happening.

The full moon rose high in the sky, shedding its silvery light on the path. Everything remained motionless, except for the glare reflected in Luciana's boots, Diana's eyes, and the taut hide of the steed.

Luciana remained upright in the saddle, her hands firm on the reins, her brown gloves shining with the moonlight. Her heels dug into the stirrups, her spurs scraping the flank of the rapidly breathing animal.
"Calm down, Leon..." she whispered in a soft, almost maternal voice, yet charged with power.

The steed whinnied, and her body began to tremble beneath her. Her skin contracted, her muscles writhed, and a deep sound, half roar, half human moan, emerged from deep within her chest.

Luciana didn't move. She took the whip, set the rhythm with light touches, and pulled on the reins, guiding the transition. The steed's back widened, human arms emerged from the fur, the animal's head molded, and a hybrid figure—half man, half beast—took shape under her dominion.

Diana watched from Esteban's shoulders, not daring to interrupt.

Luciana, her face serene, her eyes fixed on the creature, gently tightened the reins as the hybrid breathed raggedly. Her every gesture was a command; every touch of her boot, a silent order.

The moon seemed to intensify even more, as if responding to her will.
Then, with a final tremor, the fur disappeared, the hooves transformed into legs, and on the ground beneath Luciana was a flesh-and-blood man, naked, panting, and conscious.

Luciana continued to ride him, upright and serene, the whip resting on her thigh and the bridle still in her hands.
"I told you you could come back," she murmured, looking at him with both tenderness and power. "And you did... under my control."

Re: Diana

The Transformation (3)

Diana asked, "Is he a man or an animal?"

Luciana looked down at her from the top of her mount, the moonlight tracing her shape. The wind gently moved her hair as the transformed man remained beneath her, panting, confused, between human consciousness and animal instinct.

In a calm, almost solemn voice, Luciana replied, "He is both… and neither."

She released one of the reins and ran her hand over his face, watching him tremble between the desire to speak and the impulse to neigh.
"What you see," she continued, "is the fusion of what they always were: body and obedience, mind and devotion. The man who was Leon still lives… but the horse that was never truly dies."

Diana watched him silently, fascinated and disturbed at the same time. The moon bathed everyone in its radiance, as if the sky itself witnessed the boundary between the human and the inhuman.

Luciana bowed her head slightly, with a calm smile.
"Under the moonlight, masks fall," she said. "Only those who accept what they truly are... remain."

Luciana stared at Diana. The moonlight gave her eyes an almost supernatural glow. Her voice was serene, yet laden with gravity:
"Diana... there is something you must understand. When a woman discovers the power she has over men—when she learns to guide them, to bend their strength to her will—she risks forgetting that they are also souls."

Diana frowned, attentive.

Luciana looked down at León; he trembled between humanity and beast.

"He adored me," she continued. "I was just playing... until the game transformed him. It wasn't a spell, but something deeper. What he saw in me, he transformed."

She gave a gentle tug on the reins, and León obeyed with an almost reverential movement.

She gave a gentle tug on the reins, and León obeyed with an almost reverential movement.
"That's why I warn you, Diana. Don't turn devotion into servitude, nor respect into submission. Because if you lead them only with power, you will forget their heart. And they... will forget their humanity."

Silence fell. The air smelled of damp earth and a full moon.

Diana lowered her gaze, thoughtful, as the breeze stirred her hair.

Luciana added in a softer voice:
"True dominion lies not in those who control... but in those who inspire without destroying."

Luciana dismounted, took León's reins, and approached Diana. Her gaze was firm, but no longer challenging: it was inviting.
"Come," she said. "Learn what it means to lead without getting lost."

Diana understood the gesture and nodded.

Luciana gave way with a subtle movement of her hand. Diana approached the man who had once been a steed, looked at him with curiosity and respect, and she cautiously climbed onto his back.

The air trembled. León—now fully human, but still with the strength of an animal—obeyed the slightest touch from her brother. Diana felt the pulse of his power flow with the rhythm of the movement, as if the earth itself recognized her.

Luciana, meanwhile, settled herself on Carlos's shoulders, and he advanced with a firm step, leading her along the same path. The two women moved side by side, one on the beast tamed by her soul, the other sustained by loyalty and trust.

The path opened up in the silver light. The sound of footsteps—some human, others heavier—merged with the murmur of the forest.

Luciana turned her face and said,
"Now you understand, right? It's not about domination... but about balance."

Diana nodded, looking ahead, certain that she had crossed a threshold from which there was no return.

Re: Diana

The Transformation (4)

The moon was still high, suspended in a silver sky. The air was fresh, and the silence was only broken by the steady rhythm of footsteps on the path.

Diana rode forward, her back straight, her hands firm on the reins. Her shape stood out against the night light: her black hat cast a shadow over her eyes, while her black boots shone with the lunar reflection.

The movement was harmonious, almost hypnotic. Each step of the steed resonated like the heartbeat of the earth, deep and rhythmic. Diana felt the strength of the body beneath her, but also her own: the energy of one who commands, yet also trusts.

The wind played with her loose hair, and a strange sensation enveloped her, a mixture of power and understanding. The darkness seemed to surrender before her passage.

At her side, Luciana rode elegantly, guiding Carlos with the ease of one who has made harmony her law. There were no words between them, only the shared pulse of movement.

For a moment, Diana closed her eyes and felt the entire universe breathe with them. The path, the trees, the moon—everything revolved around that dance of mastery and balance.

As she rode Leon, Diana's mind opened like a raging river.
Images flashed before her eyes: beloved faces, gestures of devotion, gazes that followed her with devotion. She felt a shudder run down her spine.

She understood, in that instant, that the power she wielded over others was not a simple game. If she didn't guide it wisely, it could transform into something irreparable, like Leon's metamorphosis under the moon.

The wind hit her face, carrying the scent of damp earth. Diana tightened her grip on the reins, took a deep breath, and said to herself:
"I must learn to lead without breaking... to love without possessing."

Luciana looked at her out of the corner of her eye, as if she had read her thoughts, and nodded silently.

Luciana turned her face toward Diana as they advanced in the silver light. Her eyes, illuminated by the moon, had a gleam somewhere between wise and defiant.
In a calm voice, but one that carried the weight of an ancient question, she said:
"Tell me, Diana... who are you riding now?
A man? A beast? Or something only the moon understands?"

The wind seemed to stop for a moment. Diana didn't respond immediately; she looked toward the horizon, where the road merged with the mist.
She could feel the pulse beneath her hands, the living force that sustained her, and at the same time, the conscience that watched her from below.

Finally, she answered in a low voice, almost a whisper that faded into the night:
"To what I am capable of awakening in another." That is to say, I don't ride a person, but rather the energy that my presence awakens in them. That is to say, I ride the emotions, desires, or inner strength that I awaken in that person. I don't dominate the other: I "awaken" them, I make them manifest everything they've been hiding. Because whoever has the gift of inspiring also has the risk of destroying. And that is both a gift and a danger.

Luciana nodded with a slight smile.
"Then," she said, "you now understand the power and the danger."

The two continued moving forward, the shadows lengthening behind them, while the moon watched them in its slow, silent rise.

Diana fell silent after speaking those words. The sound of footsteps faded among the trees, and only the measured breathing of the path kept her in the present.
"What I am capable of awakening in another..."
She repeated in her mind, letting the phrase resonate in her chest like an ancient echo.

She understood that this power was not a simple ability or an inherited gift; It was a current that lay dormant within her, waiting to be understood.
Some awakened fear, others, hope; she, without meaning to, awakened surrender.
And now she knew that surrender could build... or destroy.

She felt a chill run down her spine. It wasn't guilt, or pride. It was the weight of conscience.

She looked up at the moon—full, watchful, motionless in its brilliance—and thought that all true power demands balance.
Because he who awakens another's soul must be able to hold his own without trembling.

Re: Diana

The Transformation (5)

Diana continued riding beside Luciana.
Around them, the air seemed to tremble; the full moon not only illuminated the path, but altered it.

Leon walked beneath her, his figure beginning to transform in the moonlight. His footsteps echoed with a double tone, as if two natures coexisted in a single body.
At times, his silhouette resembled that of a man; at others, that of an older, wilder creature.

Diana watched in silence. There was no fear in her gaze, but rather wonder.
She understood that this transformation was neither punishment nor miracle: it was a reflection of what each soul carries within when confronted by the power of the moon… and the power of an alien will, of Diana or Luciana—women whose determination is so strong that it alters the behavior and identity of those around them. The invisible force that one consciousness exerts on another—the energy that can awaken, transform, or destroy, depending on the purity of the intention that drives it.

Luciana, without turning, said softly:
"Not everyone can bear the truth in their own way."

Diana nodded. She felt that, somehow, she too was changing.

The path opened up under the white moonlight.
Diana and Luciana rode, sustained not only by the bodies of their human horses who accompanied them, but by something deeper: faith, devotion, the invisible energy that propelled them forward.

It seemed as if the ground itself carried them, that each other's footsteps obeyed a greater power.
The two women, one dressed in black and the other in earth tones, moved silently, as if the entire world carried them respectfully.

Luciana looked at Diana, and a serene echo resonated in her voice:
"No one leads another without surrendering. No one leads without being led."

Diana nodded. She felt the pulse of the path like an extension of her own will, a current that sustained her and tested her at the same time.

And so they continued, under the moon, carried by the invisible strength of those who believed in them—and also by the weight of their own destiny.

Leon, now in human form, advanced along the moonlit path. He carried Diana on his shoulders, not as a burden, but as one who holds an emblem or a guiding force.
His steps were firm; the echo of each footstep mingled with the murmur of the wind through the trees.

Diana, serene, gazed at the horizon. Her hair fell like a dark stream down Leon's back, and her gaze seemed to pierce the night itself.
"You are no longer half beast," she said softly. "Now you understand what it means to serve your purpose."

Leon took a deep breath. He felt Diana's weight not on his shoulders, but in his soul: a fire that tested and strengthened him.
Each step was a promise, an affirmation of his loyalty.

The moon rose brighter, and for a moment, the shadows around them bent as if acknowledging that silent pact between them: strength and guidance, drive and direction.

Diana looked at Luciana; no words were needed between them. A single glance was enough. Luciana nodded slowly, as if approving of the moment they had both been waiting for.

Then Diana lowered her hand to León's neck and, with a firm but serene gesture, removed the bit that still hung from his mouth.
The metallic click broke the silence.
"Tell us your testimony," Diana said in a clear voice, more solemn than authoritative.

León raised his head. His breathing was deep, his voice, at first shaky, but charged with an ancient emotion.
"I have seen my reflection between beast and man," he said. "I have felt how instinct and reason struggle within me... and how an external will can awaken what I didn't even know I had."

Diana watched him silently, while Luciana kept her gaze fixed on him, attentive, as if listening to a truth that also belonged to her.

"I am not the same," León continued. "I was swept away by the moon, but it was your gaze that returned me to human form. Now I understand: it was not a punishment, but a revelation."

The wind blew through the trees, and a silver glow enveloped the three.

Luciana murmured:
"The testimony of the transformation is not in the body, but in the consciousness."

Re: Diana

The Transformation (6)

Guided by the silvery moonlight, the five arrived at a clearing where a large stone stood like an ancient altar. It was a place of energy and memory, a point where the boundaries between human and divine dissolved.

Luciana, her lantern off, spoke softly:
"Here we will know if Leon's cycle has ended."

Leon, still breathing heavily, approached the stone. He climbed slowly onto it, each step echoing in the silence of the forest. Diana, still riding on him, stood upright, expectant, calmly holding the reins of the destiny that would be decided that night.

The wind stopped. The moon, round and luminous, seemed to focus all its light on them. Leon's shadow stretched across the stone and began to tremble with a living energy, as if within his body two opposing forces—beast and man—were fighting for supremacy.

Luciana watched intently, aware that nothing she said could alter what the moon would decide.

Diana silently closed her eyes. Beneath her legs, she could feel the pulse of man and the echo of beast; the trembling of flesh and the suppressed roar of spirit.

Then the moonlight intensified. A radiance enveloped León. His body trembled, he arched, and for a moment he seemed to dissolve between shadows and light.

When the light began to wane, Diana looked at him in amazement: León's form remained human.

Luciana smiled faintly.
"The moon has spoken," she said. "You may return to the world of men."

Diana remained silent for a few moments, perched on León's shoulders. Beneath her legs, she felt not only the trembling of exertion, but also the pulse of new life, the vibration of a spirit that had been purified.

The moonlight, now soft, seemed to caress León's face, as he breathed serenely. There were tears in her eyes, not from pain, but from relief.

Diana descended slowly. Her foot touched the cold stone, and for the first time all night, she completely let go of the reins. She stood before him, looking at him with a mixture of respect and revelation.
"The moon has returned you," she said in a low, deep voice. "Not as you were before, but as you can become."

León nodded, trembling.
"I don't remember everything... I only know that I didn't resist your will," he whispered. "But that force guided me here, and now I know who I am."

Luciana approached, meeting Diana's gaze.
"It wasn't punishment or domination," she said. "It was a test. Sometimes the power we exert over others is the same power that makes us see what we carry within us. You led him... and he chose to awaken."

Diana lowered her head for a moment.
"I feared that my power was only desire, that I only awakened shadows," she replied. But now I see that what awakens depends on the soul that receives it.

Luciana smiled serenely.
"That's right. The will that dominates does not destroy when it joins the purpose of uplifting."

The wind blew again, lifting the dust from the path. The moon was beginning to lower toward the horizon, and the altar stone was cooling beneath their feet.

León, now upright and free, bowed slightly to them both, as if grateful not only for the guidance, but for the transformation.

Diana looked back toward the forest, where her husband and stepson waited in the distance.
For a moment, she thought about them. About what Luciana had warned her about. About what the moon might show them if their time ever came.
"Now I understand," she murmured. "It's not about subduing, but about awakening what is dormant."

Luciana nodded once more.
"And knowing when to set free the one who has already awakened."

Re: Diana

The Transformation (7)

Dawn found them descending the path that led to the village. The moon was fading into the last breaths of the night, and the first golden glow of the sun was beginning to paint the distant rooftops.

Diana rode on León's shoulders, his gait firm and calm, as if each step confirmed his rebirth. At his side, Luciana rode upright on Carlos, with the serenity of someone who has seen an ancient cycle fulfilled. Behind them, Esteban walked silently, observing the scene with reverent wonder: two ladies wrapped in light, atop men who carried them not out of obligation, but out of a conscious, transforming devotion.

The air smelled of damp earth and distant fire. The shadows of the mountains receded, and the sound of hooves—human or otherwise—resonated with an echo that seemed to come from another time.

Luciana broke the silence:
"Every transformation leaves its mark," she said without turning around. "The people will see them arrive... and will believe we've returned the same. But we are not the same."

Diana nodded, looking at her companion's profile, illuminated by the rising sun.
"Nor will they," she replied. "Each of us carries within us the memory of what we were under the moon."

Luciana smiled faintly.
"And now, what we do with that memory will decide whether we are guardians or executioners."

The path led to the plaza. The church bells were beginning to ring, welcoming the new day. Some neighbors came out to watch: they saw the two women arrive, upright, majestic, on the shoulders of those they led. No one dared to speak; only the rustle of the wind and the murmur of awakening could be heard.

Luciana stopped Carlos and looked at Diana.
"A new cycle has begun. What the moon awakened last night, the sun will put to the test."

Diana held her gaze and responded in a firm but gentle voice:
"Then let the people learn to see beyond appearances. Let them fear not the form, but the shadow of their own fear."

The sun rose, and the two continued along the cobblestone streets, enveloped in the light of day, certain that something ancient had reawakened within them and those who followed them.

As the group crossed the stone bridge that marked the entrance to the town, a murmur spread through the houses. The bells were still ringing as the first voices began to recognize the face of the man walking firmly under the sun.
"It's León!" a woman shouted from the threshold of her house.

The doors opened, the neighbors came out, and soon a small crowd surrounded Diana and León. His relatives approached, some in tears, others in disbelief, as if they had seen the return of someone they thought lost forever.
"León!" exclaimed an old man, embracing him. "They said you had gone into the forest and would never return..."

León, still kneeling under the weight and emotion, looked up at them. His eyes mingled with the calm and depth of someone who has seen things he cannot explain in words.
"I've returned," he said in a serene voice, "but I'm not the same."

Diana, still riding him, slowly dismounted from his shoulders and looked at him respectfully. There was a new stillness in him, a silent strength that came not from the body but from the soul.

Luciana, from a few steps behind, watched the scene with a mixture of pride and melancholy. Carlos remained kneeling beside him, his gaze lowered, aware of the miracle they were witnessing.

León's relatives, moved, surrounded him, touching him, hugging him, repeating his name over and over again. No one asked too many questions. It was enough to see him alive, to see a different light in his eyes, something that bordered on the divine.

Luciana approached Diana and said softly:
"The moon gave him back his form, but you gave him his soul."

Diana responded with a slight smile.
"Perhaps I only reminded him of who he was before he was lost."

The entire town looked at them. They didn't know if they were witnessing a return or a rebirth. But in that dawn, life and mystery mingled with the same naturalness with which the sun replaces the moon.

Re: Diana

In the Village (1)

On the village's cobblestone streets, neighbors opened their windows and came out to their doors, curious about the unusual procession advancing in the dawn light. The air smelled of freshly baked bread and burning firewood; everyday life went on, but something different was in the air, as if time were slowing down to allow them to pass.

It was then that a familiar figure appeared at the end of the street: Doña María, Carlos's mother.
She was wearing her usual dark skirt and a light-colored shawl over her shoulders, her face serene and kind. When she recognized her son, her eyes lit up with a mixture of tenderness and pride.
"Carlos!" she exclaimed, approaching. "My son..."

She stopped a few steps before, calmly observing Luciana on his shoulders. The scene might have seemed strange to others, but not to her: her smile was wide and calm, as if she understood more than words could explain.
"What a beautiful image," he said softly. "A dignified lady, and a strong son to support her."

Carlos, still riding Luciana, bowed his head in respect.
"Mother," he replied in a measured voice. "All is well."

Doña María nodded, moving close enough to take Luciana's hand.
"Take care of him, daughter," she said tenderly. "He was born to serve with love, but also to learn to be free."

Luciana smiled gratefully.
"And I was born to teach him both, Doña María."

The silence that followed was warm, almost sacred. The lady looked at Diana riding Esteban a few steps behind, understanding that in this small procession there was more than just a return: there was destiny, learning, and a story that the entire town would remember.

With a maternal gesture, Doña María stepped aside, allowing them to continue.
As they walked away, she murmured to herself:
"The moon touched them, but the sun brought them back. May the balance not be broken."

While Luciana rode Carlos toward the plaza, Diana rode down another street, riding on Esteban's shoulders. Sunlight was beginning to filter through the rooftops, gilding the adobe walls and the leaves of the trees.

On a corner, near the town school, a young man with a cheerful face and a backpack over his shoulder appeared. It was Diana's stepson.
"Mom!" he called when he saw her.

Diana looked up and smiled. Her voice sounded soft, maternal, but with the serenity of someone who has seen the power of destiny and returns to the world with a newfound calm.
"Good morning, son. Are you going to school?"

"Yes, Mom," he replied naturally, because seeing Diana on Esteban's shoulders wasn't strange, but rather another expression of her strength and her place in the world.

Diana bowed her head slightly, her gaze firm and affectionate.
"It's fine, son. But don't forget to stop by the health center. Visit your father and ask when he'll be discharged. We have to prepare the house for him."

The boy nodded vigorously.
"Yes, Mom, I will."

"Good," she said with a smile. "Have a good time in class."

He said goodbye with a kiss on Diana's boots and continued on his way, disappearing among the students arriving at the school gate.

Esteban, standing, turned slightly to look up at Diana.
"You're different, but you're still you," he said respectfully.

Diana looked at him with a slight smile.
"It's not about changing," he replied, "but about remembering who I always was."

The sun shone in his dark glasses as they resumed their walk down the silent street.

Re: Diana

In the Village (2)

As the village resumed its routine and the bells rang the morning, León rested in the courtyard of his house. His relatives had welcomed him with hugs, tears, and laughter, thanking heaven for his return. Now, finally alone, he could breathe calmly.

The air smelled of warm bread and damp earth. Sitting under a tree, he still felt the echoes of the previous night: the moonlight, the tremor of transformation, Luciana's voice calling his name.

He closed his eyes and leaned his head against the trunk, letting the breeze caress his face. Then he thought:
"Luciana was my girlfriend... but now she's Esteban's girlfriend. She'll decide."

There was no resentment in his inner words, only a sad serenity, like someone who understands that time passes and souls follow different paths.

"If the moon wanted me to return as a human, it wasn't to claim anything," he thought, "but to learn to look without possessing, to love without binding."

He opened his eyes and saw some children running down the street. One of them greeted him with a smile. León raised his hand and returned the gesture. A new peace shone in his gaze, that of someone who had crossed the border between animal and human and had returned with a wiser heart.

At the door of Diana's house, before going to sleep, Diana put a dog collar around Esteban's neck and attached the dog leash to the ring on the wall. Then she looked at Esteban tenderly and said:
"Stay here. I want to feel that you're close to watch over my house, my guard dog."

He nodded and lay down by the door, a loyal guardian, while she stroked his hair. He entered her house and closed the door behind her, to lie down peacefully, knowing that he would watch over her rest.

Throughout the morning, and much of the afternoon, the village was enveloped in a strange calm.
The doors remained closed, the curtains half-open.
Sleeping were men, women, animals... all those who, in some way, had remained awake under the moonlight.

Sleep wasn't simply rest: it was a truce.
Bodies needed to replenish, but so did souls.
In the silence of the houses, deep, measured breathing could be heard, as if each heart were seeking to once again harmonize itself with the rhythm of the world.

The afternoon advanced silently over the sleeping village. The sun, warm and gentle, entered through the cracks in the windows, painting the interiors gold.

In Carlos's house, Luciana lay fast asleep on a simple bed by the window.
Her body, relaxed on the bed, seemed to float in her sleep. Her breathing was slow and serene; her face, illuminated by the light streaming in from the patio, displayed a peace rarely achieved after a night of power and revelation.
Her hat rested on a chair, and the breeze gently stirred the loose hair on her forehead.

Beside her, lying on the floor a few feet from Luciana, Carlos slept soundly, his expression peaceful, with not the slightest trace of the previous night's exertion. He had fallen exhausted right there, without the strength to even move. His hand rested near the bedpost, as if, even asleep, he sought to be close to her.

The contrast was clear and harmonious: she, in bed, comfortable, in the place of rest and command; he, faithful and protective, at the foot of her sleep.

In another part of town, at Diana's house, the silence was equally profound.
She slept on her bed, wrapped in a light sheet, her sunglasses and hat resting on the table by the window. She slept a serene, deep sleep, barely covered by the warm light that filtered through the shutters. The serenity of her face showed that the night had been intense, but not turbulent: she had understood, accepted, and mastered what the moon had revealed to her.

At the door, Esteban also slept, leaning against the frame, his head bowed on his chest. His position was reminiscent of a faithful guard dog: firm even when resting, attentive even when sleeping. Every now and then, his breathing became agitated, as if dreaming of the paths he had traveled with her.

The sun was setting slowly, and a reverent silence filled both houses.

No one disturbed them. It was as if the entire town knew that their rest was sacred.

And on the threshold of León's home, his relatives watched him sleep with a mixture of wonder and relief, silently watching over him, afraid to wake him, as if a single noise could break the delicate balance between mystery and everyday life.

Only the wind moved through the streets, carrying with it the murmur of a town resting from its own lunar vigil.

Re: Diana

In the Village (3)

Returning from school and after visiting his father at the health facility, Diana's stepson arrived home. As he crossed the threshold, he saw Esteban lying by the door. He was wearing a dog collar that indicated his role as guardian, and his leash was attached to a ring on the wall, resting peacefully and fulfilling his duty.

The young man didn't flinch. It wasn't the first time he'd encountered someone in that position, and it wouldn't be the last. He had also learned to respect the rhythms and responsibilities of those who cared for his mother. He thought:
"My mother must be resting. This morning I saw she was tired; I won't make a sound and I will respect her sleep."

As he approached, Esteban opened his eyes and sat up slightly, surprised by the boy's presence. But the stepson smiled serenely and said:
"I am your Mistress's son. Don't make a sound. That way, your Mistress can continue to rest peacefully."

Esteban nodded, relaxing his shoulders, and lay back down. The young man continued toward his room, aware that the calm of the house depended on everyone respecting Diana's moments of rest.

The afternoon sun illuminated the walls and wooden floors, and the silence remained intact, almost sacred, as the family settled into the routine of the day after the lunar vigil.

Diana woke up and came out of her bedroom. She was wearing sandals, blue leggings, and a tight white cropped top.

Her stepson saw her and, with a respectful gesture, bowed to her, kissed her feet, and said,
"I prepared your food and just served it; it's still warm on the table. No one in this house eats unless you do."

Diana smiled gratefully, walked to the table, stepped on her stepson's head, and nodded appreciatively,
"Thank you, son. You've done a good job."

Then Diana looked at Esteban, her dog, resting outside.

Her attentive stepson asked, "Will you feed him outside or bring him into the house?"

Diana went outside, bent down for a moment, stroked the animal, and said calmly, "I'll bring him in. This is his home too."

The young man nodded, pleased to see that routine and care were balanced, as the afternoon sun gently streamed through the window and filled the house with warm light.

Sebastian, calm and happy, crawled toward Diana. He sniffed her feet and gently kissed and licked them, as if greeting his Owner and showing affection.

Diana smiled and bent down a little to stroke him, calmly running her hand along his back.
"You're a good companion," she said softly. "Always attentive and faithful."

The animal wagged its tail contentedly and settled at Diana's feet, while the afternoon sun streamed through the window, illuminating the scene and filling the room with a sense of peace and harmony.

In another part of town, under the shade of a tree near the plaza, Luciana was conversing with Doña María. The breeze gently stirred the folds of the lady's shawl, and the distant murmur of everyday life filled the air.

Luciana looked at her seriously with a slight smile, like someone sharing a truth that wasn't always comfortable:
"I know Carlos is a good man," she said calmly. "But what isn't born, doesn't grow."

Doña María nodded slowly, understanding the depth of her words. There was a warning in them, but also a recognition: sometimes someone's virtue or goodness isn't enough for something to flourish if it doesn't spring from the heart.
"I know, my daughter," she replied in a calm voice. And I also know that there are things that time and life teach better than any advice.

Luciana smiled softly, letting the phrase float between them, like a reminder that patience and observation were as important as action.

Luciana moved away from Doña María a little, leaning against the tree trunk and letting her thoughts flow silently. The conversation about Carlos had ignited something in her mind: the mother's prudent calm contrasted with the storm of emotions she herself felt.

She thought of Esteban, her current partner, firm and reliable, and of León, whose recent transformation had left her with mixed feelings. Her relationship with both had been intense and different, but now there was a new factor she couldn't ignore: Carlos.

Doña María, without intending to, had placed her son as a third factor in that emotional equation, an element that upset the balance and raised doubts that Luciana hadn't considered. It wasn't malice; it was simply life itself that presented unexpected variables.

"Esteban has the perseverance, León the passion, and Carlos… Carlos brings the possibility of something never imagined," Luciana reflected.
"It's complicated," she murmured to herself. "It's not about choosing between them, but about understanding what is truly born and can grow."

The breeze gently moved her hair, and Luciana closed her eyes for a moment, as if seeking clarity amidst the confusion. She understood that, although the heart may desire many things, life always demands discernment and patience.
"Nothing is forced," she thought. "Everything that is meant to flourish will do so in its time."

The sun was beginning to set in the west, and the golden light seemed to reflect her thoughts: complex, warm, full of possibilities, yet still silent, awaiting their moment to manifest. And the town continued its tranquil course, unaware of the profound conversations that shaped the understanding and future of those who lived there.

Re: Diana

In the Village (4)

Doña María smiled, looking at her with tenderness and appreciation:
"You are a good woman and you would make my son happy," she said. "If you like, I can prepare him, bridle him, and saddle him myself, so you can go out for a ride with him."

Luciana looked at her confidently and serenely, with a slight smile:
"It's not necessary," she replied. "I know how to do it myself, and not only with him, but with many others whom I bridle, saddle, and ride."

Her tone wasn't arrogant; it was the certainty of someone who knows her ability and knows how to guide, teach, and care for. Doña María nodded, understanding that Luciana wasn't just talking about physical prowess, but also about leadership and self-confidence.

"Then I trust you," she finally said, in a calm voice. "May everything turn out well, as you always do."

Luciana nodded and said goodbye with a slight nod, ready to continue with her day, aware of her abilities and the harmony she could create around her.

Doña María smiled, looking at her with tenderness and appreciation:
"You are a good woman and you would make my son happy," she said. "If you like, I can prepare him myself, bridling and saddling him, so you can go out riding with him."

Luciana looked at her confidently and serenely, with a slight smile:
"It's not necessary," she replied. "I know how to do it myself, and not just with him, but with many others."

Her tone wasn't arrogant; it was the certainty of someone who knows her ability and knows how to guide, teach, and care.

Doña María sighed and looked at Luciana sincerely:
"I don't like Diana for Carlos," she confessed.

Luciana looked at her calmly, weighing her words:
"She's a different kettle of fish," she said. "Diana is a married woman raising a child who is not her own."

Doña María nodded thoughtfully and added:
"Yes, he's approximately five years younger than her, practically from the same generation."

Luciana smiled slightly, reaffirming her position:
"Carlos isn't thinking of Diana as a partner," she explained. "He admires her and serves her, demonstrating his devotion. If he carries her on his shoulders while riding her, it's because it comes naturally to him, for no other reason."

Doña María remained silent for a moment, allowing Luciana's words to sink in. The young woman had explained the difference between affection, respect, and romance, showing that bonds could be deep without necessarily implying a romantic commitment.
"So," Doña María finally murmured, "everything is in its place, even if not everyone understands it."

Luciana nodded, aware that harmony isn't always visible from the outside, but that, as long as one acts with respect and awareness, every relationship finds its natural balance.
Carlos walked out into the courtyard, where the afternoon was beginning to turn golden. Luciana waited for him, calm, with a determined gaze and a gesture that blended sweetness and authority.

Without a word, he approached and bowed slightly, acknowledging his place in the moment. Luciana calmly placed on him the symbols of the bond they shared—a bridle with a bit, a saddle with stirrups, a pair of reins—elements that in her village not only signified dominance, but also trust, devotion, and balance.

Doña María, watching, smiled with emotion. For her, the scene was neither strange nor improper: it was a reflection of the harmony between her son and the woman who understood him.

Luciana rode elegantly, upright and serene, and the whole group—woman and man, mind and strength, guide and path—moved along the path as if the air itself sustained them.

Doña María clapped softly, murmuring to herself:
"This is how I like to see my son, serving with joy and pride."

Luciana turned her head for a moment and smiled at her, as the sun finished setting behind the hills, covering the moment with a warm and sacred light.

Re: Diana

Meeting the Full Moon (1)

Doña María watched from the doorway of her house. The sunset light bathed the patio in golden hues, and in that glow, Luciana looked imposing, self-assured, as if the air recognized her.

Carlos, beneath Luciana, held his head high. There was no submission in his expression, but rather a calm strength, a natural acceptance of the guidance Luciana represented. It was as if they shared a common pulse, a common heartbeat.

Doña María thought, her heart filled with pride:
"She has the composure I always wanted for my son. She doesn't bend him, she guides him. She doesn't humiliate him, she elevates him."

As the sun set, Luciana took the reins. Her movements were firm, determined, but also harmonious.
Carlos obeyed her with a sure stride, his silhouette and hers advancing as one figure against the golden horizon.

The wind played with Luciana's loose hair and made her white blouse flutter slightly. Her boots gleamed in the reflection of the sun, and her gaze reflected the determination of someone who knows her way. Carlos, dressed in work clothes, displayed the strength of work and the nobility of effort.

Doña María watched them walk away along the path, and as the distance enveloped them in the twilight, she thought:
"My son is in good hands. Perhaps the destiny of strong men is to find women who know how to guide them with tenderness and firmness."

As she rode along the path illuminated by the last rays of the sun, Luciana remained silent. The sound of the wind through the trees accompanied her reflection, and her mind returned again and again to the conversations of the day.
"Doña María... a wise woman in her own way," she thought. "She sees things from the heart of a mother, not from the heart of destiny."

She remembered the lady's satisfied smile as she watched her ride away with Carlos. She knew that smile hid hope, but also a faint fear: every mother's fear that her child will give more than she receives.

Luciana took a deep breath.
"She thinks I could make him happy. She doesn't understand that what I awaken isn't simple happiness, but transformation. The same is true of Diana."

The image of Diana appeared in her mind: her confidence, her magnetism, her serene command.
"Diana still doesn't understand the extent of her own power," Luciana mused. "She plays with forces that obey her, but that can also consume her if she forgets who she is. Her husband, her stepson, the men who follow her—all are reflections of her will. If she doesn't learn to balance it, they could be lost in it, like Leon."

A cool breeze stirred the dust on the path. Luciana raised her gaze toward the horizon, where the first star was beginning to shine.
"My role is not to oppose Diana, but to remind her that the power she awakens in men must not be merely possession or control. It must be communion, mutual recognition. She must learn to lead without losing herself in domination."

Her expression softened.
"Perhaps Carlos can help her. He is noble, loyal, and his devotion is not born of submission, but of respect. Perhaps he is the bridge that saves her."

The sky was slowly darkening. Luciana loosened the reins, letting the rhythm of the path carry her, while within her a new clarity began to form: the balance between power and compassion, dominance and purpose, was what distinguished a true Guide from a mere Owner.

Re: Diana

Meeting the Full Moon (2)

Meanwhile, at another point on the road, Diana rode toward the forest. The afternoon was slowly fading, and the air was filled with the deep sounds of nature: crickets, rustling leaves, the murmur of the wind.

Esteban, serene and focused, was ridden by Diana, walking with a firm stride. She kept her eyes straight ahead, her face partially hidden by the brim of her black hat. With each step, her silhouette projected an image of control and determination, a dark figure silhouetted against the orange glow of the horizon.

The path narrowed, and the forest seemed to welcome them as if it knew their steps.

Diana breathed deeply in the humid twilight air; her mind wandered far, as far as the thoughts that united and separated her from Luciana.
"Luciana trusts in harmony, in balance," she thought. "But sometimes harmony is born from chaos. Sometimes you have to push the limits to understand what we're made of."

The branches creaked under the weight of their footsteps, and a gust of wind stirred the leaves above them.

Diana pressed her lips into a slight smile.
"The forest will know what I'm looking for," she murmured softly, more to herself than to Esteban.

In the distance, the moon rose, still pale but crescent, like an all-seeing eye. It was the same star that had witnessed León's transformation, the same one that now seemed to follow both women, Luciana and Diana, as if fate were weaving them from different threads toward a single meeting point.

As the forest closed in on them and the shadows lengthened between the trees, Diana remained silent. The swaying of the path helped her think, and her mind returned again and again to the previous night, to León's figure and his impossible transformation.
"It was real," she thought, looking up at the moon as it made its way through the branches. "It wasn't an illusion or a dream. I saw a man's body molded by the force of something nonphysical... something ancient, responding to another's will, or perhaps to mine as well."

The memory shook her. Not out of fear, but out of fascination.
"What are we women capable of awakening when the power that slumbers in men is activated under our gaze?"

Her thoughts deepened, almost like an inner prayer.
"Luciana says León's transformation was a consequence of the imbalance between desire and purpose. But... what if it wasn't punishment, but evolution? What if man becomes a beast not out of degradation, but because he finds a purer way to serve the cycle of power?"

Diana raised her gaze. The moon was now full, immense, silvering the entire forest.
"Will it happen again?" she wondered silently. "Could it happen to someone else? To Carlos... or to Esteban?"

The thought coursed through her like a current. She didn't desire it or fear it: she understood it. She felt that something greater than herself, an ancient, feminine force, was weaving her destiny and that of the men around her.
"Perhaps I can't prevent it," she reflected. "Perhaps my role isn't to stop the transformation, but to understand it. To know why it happens, when it happens... and for what purpose."

The wind blew strongly, stirring the branches and briefly extinguishing the light from her flashlight. In that brief moment of darkness, Diana thought she heard a distant, deep whinny, like an echo of the previous night.

Diana closed her eyes and smiled faintly.
"The cycle hasn't ended," she murmured. "It's only begun again."

Stephen moved forward steadily, attentive only to Diana's voice and presence. In his mind, there was no forest, no murmuring of the trees, not even the moon following them from above. Only Diana.

Every indication from Diana—a slight movement, a word, a mere gesture—was enough to guide him. And he responded with a dedication that wasn't servile, but almost sacred.
"I never thought I could feel so complete just by following someone," Esteban thought, not daring to break the silence. "Before, when I was around Luciana, I thought I understood what it meant to serve... but this is different. With Diana, I don't serve, I join."

The image of Luciana flashed through his mind, but it vanished as quickly as it had come. It wasn't a forgetting out of contempt, but because in that moment his entire being belonged to the present experience, to the instant when Diana's will and his intertwined wordlessly.

Diana, from her elevated position, noticed it. Her breathing matched his, and a thought passed through her: "He is completely devoted. Not out of desire or obligation, but because he has found meaning in being a path for another person, for me."

The forest, a silent witness, seemed to understand the silent union between them. And as the moon bathed the scene in its silvery glow, Diana understood that power transformed not only those who wielded it, but also those who embraced it without resistance.

Re: Diana

Meeting the Full Moon (3)

The three presences arrived at the altar stone at the same time.
Luciana, upright and firm, rode on Carlos, whose steps weighed as if the ground itself recognized the magnitude of what was happening there.
Diana, serene and radiant, rode on Esteban's shoulders, who walked with a mixture of reverence and devotion.
And León… León arrived alone. No one accompanied him, but his gaze reflected the same strength that manifested in the others through their bond.

There was no doubt: an ancient, deep, and conscious energy had brought them together there.
The air vibrated, as if nature were waiting.
The murmur of the forest ceased, and the silence became almost sacred.

Luciana and Diana continued riding, each with a distinct bearing: Luciana with the determination of one who understands earthly power, Diana with the calm of one who perceives the invisible.
León approached without hesitation; he wasn't guided by his eyes, but by an inner call that was impossible to resist.

It was then that the stone began to emit a faint light, as if recognizing those who stood before it.
The altar seemed to breathe.

Diana looked at Luciana and then at León.
She knew that what was about to happen depended not on them or on him, but on something beyond human understanding, that force that transformed, chose, and repeated its mystery through time.

Luciana advanced with a haughty bearing, her silhouette outlined by the golden light of the sunset. She wore a cream-colored linen blouse, cinched at the waist with a braided leather belt, from which hung a small cloth bag. Her dark brown riding breeches emphasized the firmness of her legs and the elegance of her posture over Carlos. Her tall, black leather boots gleamed in the reflection of the light filtering through the trees, and her loose, dark brown hair fell over her shoulders, gently moving as her human mount moved. Her gaze, deep and determined, reflected the serenity of someone who simultaneously dominates and understands.

Diana, on the other hand, projected a distinct, almost ethereal presence. She wore a long-sleeved white blouse, open slightly at the neck and fitted to her torso, which emphasized her upright stance. Her wine-colored riding skirt extended to mid-thigh, revealing the high-heeled black boots she wore, balancing perfectly on Esteban's shoulders. A red scarf adorned her neck, gently moving in the breeze, and her dark hair, tied back in a braid, flowed like a vivid line down her back. On her face, there was an expression of profound calm and mastery, as if she knew what was going to happen before it happened.

The contrast between the two was evident:
Luciana represented earthly strength, firm and defiant;
Diana, serene, spiritual, and almost divine power.

When they arrived before the altar stone, the union of both presences—that of the woman who dominates matter and that of the one who dominates the spirit—made the air vibrate with an unmistakable energy.

Carlos advanced with his body leaning forward, his hands firmly planted on the ground as Luciana straddled him on her shoulders. His breathing was deep and controlled, marked by the discipline she had instilled in him. Sweat beaded his forehead and neck, but his eyes shone with pride: not from the effort, but from the honor of supporting the one who guided him. Despite the weight and the distance traveled, he held his head high, aware that he must present himself with dignity before the altar. When he stopped, his gaze lifted slightly to the stone, and a shiver ran down his spine. He felt something—a silent, ancient force—watching him from beyond the visible.

Esteban, on the other hand, was completely devoted to Diana. He was carried by Diana, on her shoulders with a devotion that bordered on joy. His posture was firm, but his expression conveyed an almost supernatural peace: his lips parted, his breath serene, his eyelids relaxed. He seemed to hear something the others couldn't hear, an inner voice that spoke only to him. When he reached the altar, he knelt slowly, lowering his head in respect, but still sporting a faint smile that revealed the joy of serving Diana. His body trembled, not from exhaustion, but from the emotion of the moment.

And León…
León arrived walking, with no one on his shoulders, but with an expression unlike any he'd ever had before. His steps were slow, his breathing even, and there was something new in his eyes: a mixture of wonder and acceptance. The force that had called him seemed to guide him without resistance. When he stopped in front of the stone, the air changed: a subtle current stirred the leaves, and a barely perceptible vibration ran through the ground. León raised his head, and his gaze met Luciana's and Diana's. In his pupils, a faint light began to glow, as if something inside him were awakening again.

Carlos looked at León in bewilderment.
Esteban didn't even take his eyes off Diana.
And León remained motionless, as if hearing a call that only he could understand.

The forest, silent, seemed to hold its breath. The altar waited.

The Conversation (1)

The sound of Esteban and Carlos's firm footsteps on the damp ground marked a deep, steady rhythm, like the heartbeat of the earth itself. The forest, tinged silver by the moonlight, enveloped them in a blanket of expectant silence, interrupted only by the distant song of a night bird.

The two ladies, Diana and Luciana, riding upright on their horses' shoulders, seemed to float above the nocturnal landscape. Their hair swayed gently in the breeze, and the energy between them vibrated like a taut cord between friendship, power, and shared secrets.

Luciana turned her face slightly toward Diana, letting the light slide over her cheeks like a silvery caress. Her voice came out calm, but full of meaning:
"I know it's because of you that Carlos lost an eye, but... the one he has now isn't made of glass." It's like a real eye. I could feel it. She paused, as if savoring the strangeness of what she was saying. Carlos can grasp objects with precision, and he has a sense of depth and distance.

Diana didn't take her gaze off the path, but a half-smile appeared on her face, the kind she used when revealing truths that seemed impossible.
"My friend, the engineer Vanessa, gave him a bionic eye," she said gently and proudly. "It's a very advanced device... she designed it herself."

Luciana frowned slightly, not out of distrust of Diana, but at the magnitude of what it implied. She looked down for a moment at Carlos, who, ridden by her, was advancing with a firm and synchronized gait, and then looked straight ahead again:
"It's a miracle of technology," she whispered. "But... isn't your friend Vanessa spying on us via video and audio?"

The wind stirred a swirl of dry leaves that swirled around them, as if nature itself awaited the answer.

Diana smiled with the mysterious calm of someone in control, which always enveloped her when she spoke of things that transcended the ordinary. Her dark hair fluttered in the wind, and the slight sway of Esteban's gait, on whose shoulders she rode, made her silhouette seem to float.
"She can do it," she replied. "But she won't do it without my knowledge. Vanessa owes me more than you can imagine. Besides..." her eyes shone with a sly gleam, "I can also see through that eye if I choose."

Then Diana continued:
"Vanessa could do it, yes," she replied calmly, without showing concern, "but she wouldn't do it without reason. That eye doesn't transmit all the time; it only activates when Vanessa wants it to or when it detects danger."

Luciana narrowed her eyes, a slight tremor between discomfort and fascination. There was something about Diana that transcended simple human will: a power that combined intelligence, control, and mystery.

Luciana, riding on Carlos's shoulders, turned slightly to look down, searching his face for some sign, a spark of that humanity reinforced by the machine. Her expression softened.
"So he can see more clearly than we do," she said, her voice almost melancholy. "Perhaps that's why he seems so serene now."

The group advanced along a path lined with tall trees. Moonlight filtered in silvery beams through the leaves, illuminating the figures of the two ladies, who rode upright, as if revered by nature itself.

Diana nodded slowly.
"The bionic eye doesn't just see light, Luciana. It also detects energy, movement, heat..." Vanessa wanted to give him a look that could understand the soul, not just shapes.

Luciana remained silent for a few moments, gazing at the horizon. Then, with a hint of irony mixed with fear, she commented:
"So he can see the invisible... even what we hide."

Diana laughed softly, lowering her gaze to the road.
"Yes, he can see that... but only if you allow him."

Meanwhile, Carlos and Esteban continued their march, their muscles tense under the weight of their ladies, but without a single hint of fatigue. They advanced as if part of an ancient ritual, silent guardians of a dialogue that hovered between the sacred and the dangerous.

The four continued moving through the trees, with the sound of rhythmic footsteps on the damp earth.
Luciana and Diana, each on her human horse, seemed like two opposing but united forces: one of doubt; the other, of certainty.

The forest darkened every time a cloud covered the moon, and the echo of Diana's words seemed to merge with the thicket, as if something beyond them was also listening.

Re: Diana

The Conversation (2)

The scene was filled with a silvery light filtered through the tall trees by the moonbeams. The leaves trembled, and the air smelled of damp earth and sap. The group stopped in a clearing when a familiar figure appeared between the trunks: Doña María, with her sure stride and the steady gaze of someone who dominated both the countryside and life.

She was wearing a dark shawl, a wide-brimmed hat, and dusty boots. Seeing them, a smile of maternal pride spread across her face.
Her eyes fell on Carlos, who was riding upright, shouldered by Luciana, perfectly seated in the saddle.
"Oh, what a beautiful picture!" she exclaimed happily. "A memory," she added as she took out her phone and took several photos, making sure to capture both her son and the young rider.

Then, approaching with an expert air, she checked the adjustments of the equipment: the bit was just right, the bridle firm, and the saddle perfectly balanced. She gave a couple of light tugs to make sure everything was in order.
"Are you comfortable, daughter?" she asked Luciana tenderly, but also with authority. "Is the saddle not rubbing? Do you have a firm footing in the stirrups? Does he obey the reins, the whip, and the spurs?"

Luciana, smiling, nodded serenely. Carlos's posture beneath her was firm, his breathing even.

Doña María stroked Luciana's leg, almost like a teacher correcting her favorite student:
"Apply the reins, whip, and spurs when necessary, daughter. Don't hesitate to command. A well-guided horse is a happy horse."

Then she addressed her son, with that mixture of love and discipline that only a mother can possess:
"You two are a team, Carlos. Remember that. You must obey your rider."

Carlos lowered his head in a respectful gesture, without responding; Luciana looked at him with affection and a hint of complicity.

When Doña María walked slowly down the path, leaving behind the echo of her voice and the click of her boots on the dead leaves, Diana watched the scene with a malicious smile and a glint of irony in her eyes.
Riding Esteban, Diana leaned a little closer to Luciana, who was riding on Carlos's shoulders, and whispered:
"Doña María wants to 'marry' you to her son." She paused briefly, her smile widening. "That's why she's 'hunting' you for him."

Luciana let out a slight laugh, half amused, half thoughtful. She looked at Diana, then at Carlos, and replied playfully:
"Then it seems I've already fallen into his trap... although I'm not sure I want to escape."

The forest seemed to vibrate with that light confession, and Diana, looking up at the sky between the trees, let out a soft laugh, a mixture of mockery and feminine complicity.

The wind blew between them, and the echo of Doña María's words was lost in the thicket, like an ancient blessing that nature itself had heard.

Diana halted the pace of her horse Esteban with a light pressure of her knees on his shoulders. The silence of the forest thickened, only the creaking of dry branches could be heard under their feet. Her face, once relaxed, tensed slightly; the ironic gleam in her eyes faded for a moment, giving way to a deep gaze, filled with memories.
"On the other hand, for me..." she began, but her voice cracked a little, as if the words weighed more than usual.

Luciana, riding a few meters ahead on Carlos's shoulders, turned her face toward her. Her tone was serene, but her words cut the air like an invisible blade:
"His son lost an eye because of you," she said bluntly. "Although later Vanessa gave him another, an eye that looks human, that sees and feels. But you had him as a pig, Diana... and you sacrificed him."

The leaves of the forest shuddered in a sudden gust of wind, as if nature itself responded to that truth.

Diana stared at her. An almost imperceptible smile crossed her lips, but in her eyes there was a shadow of sadness, perhaps guilt, perhaps acceptance.
"Yes, I did," she admitted quietly, more to herself than to Luciana. "I had him, I marked him, I dominated him... and in the end, I lost him."

Luciana watched her without reproach, with the calm of someone who understands the power of actions and their consequences.
"Sometimes," she finally said, "sacrifice isn't death... but transformation."

Silence fell again. Diana lowered her gaze, took a deep breath, and then nodded.
"Perhaps you're right, sister. But I still don't know if he was reborn... or if he just changed cages."

The two continued their march on the shoulders of their faithful horses, while the evening light filtered golden glints through the leaves, enveloping the scene in a melancholy glow, as if the earth itself held a memory of what had been said.

Re: Diana

The Conversation (3)

Diana turned her face toward Luciana, the moonlight silvering her skin and making her gaze shine with a mixture of pride and serenity. Esteban, under Diana, continued advancing slowly, obediently and steadily, while the branches of the forest swayed gently at their pace.

Luciana, riding upright on Carlos's shoulders, spoke with the calmness of someone who knows the truth and isn't afraid to speak it:
"Carlos shouldn't affect you," she said, "considering that you have a husband and a stepson who adore you."

Diana smiled, not ironically, but with the expression of someone carrying a storm inside that she can't show. Her voice, when she answered, was low and deep, almost a whisper that seemed to come from her chest rather than her throat:
"I'm not affected by Carlos..." she said slowly. "I'm affected by what he represents."

Luciana raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
"And what does he represent?" she asked.

Diana looked ahead, toward the path that wound through the trees, the wind playing with her hair.
"Blind devotion," she replied. "Devotion without measure. I had him under my command, I marked him with my will... and yet, he obeyed me without question, even when I pushed him to the limit."

Luciana sighed.
"That's not love, Diana. That's dominance."

Diana nodded, not denying it.
"I know. But sometimes dominance and love become confused when the heart doesn't know whether to protect or possess."

The silence between them was long and heavy, interrupted only by the sound of the leaves and the measured footsteps of their horses.

Finally, Luciana spoke in a softer tone:
"So, my friend... be sure not to confuse the love of your husband with the devotion of your servants. One elevates you, the other chains you."

Diana looked at her, her eyes sparkling with respect and melancholy.
"You're always so wise, Luciana," she smiled slightly. "Perhaps that's why Mother Nature chose you to speak on her behalf."

Luciana responded with a faint smile, and the two continued on their way, two figures standing on human shoulders, advancing through the darkness of the forest, which seemed to listen to them and remain reverently silent at their words.

Diana said:
"Luciana, I ride on your past, León, on your present, Esteban, and on your future, Carlos."

Luciana slowly turned her face toward her, surprised by the depth of those words. The light filtering through the trees fell on their faces, illuminating the intensity in Diana's eyes, as she spoke in a firm, almost ritualistic voice:
"Luciana, I ride on your past—León—on your present—Esteban—and on your future—Carlos."

Luciana looked at her in silence for a moment, while the sound of human hooves on the damp earth seemed to stop. Esteban, beneath Diana, remained motionless, expectant; Carlos, beneath Luciana, breathed heavily, but without taking his eyes off the ground, sensing that something sacred was being spoken.

The forest air was charged with a dense, almost electric energy. The wind stirred the leaves as if Nature itself wanted to listen.

Luciana finally responded with a serene smile, a mixture of respect and defiance:
"Then, Diana, you ride what I was, what I am, and what I could become. But remember..." her tone deepened, her eyes shone with a determination that pierced the air, "...no one can ride my spirit."

Diana observed her with that gaze of hers that was both sweet and penetrating, as if analyzing not only the words, but the soul of the one who spoke them.
"I do not wish to ride your spirit, sister," she said softly, "only to show you its reflection."

Luciana held her gaze, and between them there was a silence filled with understanding, as if an invisible pact were condensed in that phrase, one that united two distinct but complementary feminine forces: that of control and that of freedom.

Esteban and Carlos, involuntary witnesses, felt in that instant that their bodies were merely vehicles for something greater—an ancestral energy that transcended flesh and pride, and that united them under the power of the moon and the memory of the earth.

Re: Diana

The Conversation (4)

Diana said:
"I think I can guess why you warned me, suggesting that I not ride my husband and my stepson. You feared that your story with León would be repeated in me."

Luciana lowered her gaze for a moment, as if Diana's words had touched a deep nerve she had thought dormant. The forest air seemed to grow thicker, more intimate, and the murmur of the wind through the leaves became a whisper that accompanied the tension between them.

In a calm voice, Diana continued:
"I think I can guess why you warned me, Luciana." Her eyes shone with the serenity of someone who understands too much. "You feared that your story with León would be repeated in me... that the bond between rider and horse would transcend limits, that desire and will would merge until they created something impossible to untie."

Luciana looked up. A complex expression spread across her face—a mixture of pride, vulnerability, and a hint of nostalgia.
"I wouldn't deny it, Diana," she finally replied. "When the will of the one who rides joins the soul of the one who is ridden, the border dissolves. León and I crossed that border without knowing there would be no easy return. I wanted power... and he wanted to surrender himself completely."

Diana, still on Esteban's shoulders, leaned forward slightly, as if her words were a spell.
"Power doesn't destroy when it's balanced, Luciana. It's destroyed by fear... and you were afraid."

Luciana sighed, her voice faint as if coming from far away:
"Yes, I was afraid. Afraid of losing him. And out of fear, I lost him."

The forest fell silent. The birds ceased their song. Diana nodded slowly, as if accepting the confession not with judgment, but with understanding.
"Then let us learn from each other," Diana finally said, in a solemn tone, "you, not to fear the power you awaken, and I, not to confuse love with dominance."

Luciana looked at her with a slight smile, one of those that are only granted between equals, and replied:
"So be it, sister."

The light filtering through the trees danced once more on their faces, as if Mother Nature—a silent witness—were sealing a new pact between them: that of learning to ride without losing their souls.

Diana said:
"They like to pretend they're my horses."

Luciana smiled faintly, with that gesture that mixed tenderness and mischief, and replied:
"I know, Diana. I knew it from the first time I saw them look at you... not with the eyes of a mere admirer, but with the devotion of one who gives themselves over to the game without reservation."

Diana nodded, lowering her voice slightly, almost in a confidential tone:
"They enjoy it, Luciana." I don't force them, I never would. But when I play with them... when I guide them, when they obey me... I feel something else happening, something I can't explain.

Luciana narrowed her eyes, watching the way the light from the forest illuminated Diana's face.
"That 'something' is the bond," she said calmly, "the same thing that unites earth with rain, fire with air. It's not submission, nor dominance. It's energy, flow, balance. They recognize you as their center... and you elevate them when you make them part of the game."

Diana thought for a moment, looking toward the horizon, where the moonlight filtered through the treetops.
"So it's not just a game," she whispered, "it's a form of connection."

Luciana nodded.
"Exactly. But remember, Diana... when someone gives themselves completely, it's not enough to guide: you have to care. Every game awakens something different in the person who experiences it." And yours, theirs... is full of power.

Diana took a deep breath and, with a serene smile, said:
"I will take care of them, Luciana. I will take care of them like a fire: without extinguishing it, but without letting it consume everything in its path."

And for a moment, the silence of the forest seemed to agree as well.

Re: Diana

The Conversation (5)

Luciana asked:
"What will you do with León?"

Diana turned her gaze toward the path they had come along. The breeze gently stirred the leaves, and in the distance, León's silhouette could still be seen, tied to the tree in the light that filtered through the branches.

In a measured voice, she replied:
"León has fulfilled his destiny… and mine too. I cannot force him to remain what he was; nor can I deny him what he is now." She paused, as if weighing the weight of each word. "I will set him free, Luciana. But not only in body: in spirit as well."

Luciana observed her in silence for a few seconds, trying to read from her face whether she was speaking from reason or from her heart.
"Free… from you or free because of you?" she finally asked.

Diana smiled faintly, a smile of wisdom and melancholy intertwined.
"Both. Free from me, so that he will not depend on my will." And free for me, because I've understood that when a wish is granted, it must be released... or it becomes a prison.

Luciana lowered her gaze, touching Carlos's reins between her gloved fingers.
"That's what I couldn't do before," she confessed. "I wanted to keep León, to make him mine forever. And Mother Nature taught me that nothing tied to the soul can remain pure if it doesn't let go."

Diana nodded, with the serenity of someone who has learned something profound:
"Then it shall be. We'll return to the altar later. I'll remove the reins and the bit, and if he decides to stay, it will be of his own free will. If he leaves..." She looked at the horizon, her eyes shining, "...may the wind guide him."

Luciana sighed and said softly:
"You are wiser than you think, Diana."

And they both continued along the path, the murmur of the forest surrounding them, as the sun began to set, a harbinger of the hour when bonds transform into freedom.

Luciana asked:
"Diana. What would you do if León decided to remain a horse?"

Diana didn't answer immediately.
The forest wind slowly moved her hair, and the moonlight gave her face a silvery glow. She looked at the horizon, thoughtful, before speaking in a calm, deep voice:
"If León decides to remain a horse," she said finally, "I wouldn't force him to become human again. It wouldn't be fair. No one should be torn from their choice, not even out of love or gratitude."

Silently, Diana observed Luciana, weighing her temper with each word.
"And would you allow León to remain a horse permanently, even knowing that you would lose the chance to speak to him again, to see him as he was before?" she asked in a soft, almost maternal tone.

Luciana sighed.
"Yes," she replied calmly. "Because the Lion I knew has already transformed. His body may change, but his essence remains, in the brightness of his eyes, in his obedience, in his nobility. If he chose to be a horse, it would be just another way of being free."

Diana tilted her head slightly, reflecting.
"You... would accept him."

"I would honor him," Luciana corrected. "Every being has its cycle, Diana. And I don't wish to break any more. If he is happier trotting among the trees than talking among humans, I will let him ride... knowing that a part of me rides on him."

Diana looked at her with a mixture of respect and nostalgia.
"You speak as if you love him."

Luciana smiled sweetly, neither denying nor affirming.
"I love him, yes, but not like before. I no longer love him with desire or attachment, but with understanding." He taught me that sometimes love isn't about holding on, but about letting go.

The forest was silent for a few seconds. Only the rustling of leaves and the distant song of a bird broke the stillness.

Diana, moved, murmured:
"Perhaps... that is the true power of transformation: not changing the body, but the soul."

Luciana nodded slowly.
"That's right, sister. And the moon will bear witness, once again, when we let go."

Re: Diana

The Return (1)

Luciana asked:
"Diana, now that you know about the altar and the power of transformation, what will you do? Will you bring your husband and your stepson?"

Before answering, Diana looked at Luciana with an expression that mixed reflection and determination.
She thought about Luciana's warnings and what had happened with León, who had once been close to Luciana and her boyfriend, but after the first transformation, she had found another boyfriend, leaving León as a horse.
She looked at Luciana with an expression that mixed reflection and determination. Her eyes shone with an intense light, that of newly acquired knowledge and the power she now understood in its full magnitude.
"I don't know yet," she replied slowly. "The altar not only transforms bodies, it also transforms destinies."

Luciana frowned, sensing that a profound intention lay behind those words.
"But you don't think..." she began, but stopped.

Diana smiled faintly.
“My husband and stepson trust me. They love me, they follow me, they serve me without asking for anything. If I brought them here, it wouldn't be to punish or subdue them... but to uplift them with me.”

Luciana shook her head, remembering León.
“That's what I once thought,” she murmured. “I believed I could wield the altar's power without losing what I loved. But look at him now…” She looked toward the clearing, where the horse, León, was grazing peacefully. “He no longer remembers me, and even though he sometimes glances at me, I know his soul is trapped in another realm.”

Diana followed Luciana's gesture with her eyes, observing the motionless horse in the light of the forest.
“Perhaps he's not lost,” she said softly. “Perhaps he's only sleeping.”

Luciana sighed.
“Or perhaps you still haven't understood that every transformation takes a price.”

Diana approached the altar, placed a hand on the cold stone, and said,
“I understand.” But there are sacrifices worth making if they ensure order. The altar is not evil, Luciana. It simply obeys.

Luciana watched her uneasily.
"And you? Who do you obey, Diana? Your will... or the power that seduces you?"

The wind blew through the trees. Diana smiled without responding, her fingers caressing the ancient inscriptions on the altar as if it could hear her.
In her gaze, there was a mixture of doubt, faith... and a dangerous desire to test her power once more.

Looking at León, Diana said:
"Luciana, I will free him. If he decides to take human form, he will return to his family. If he decides to become a horse, I will do the same as you: I will leave him in the forest and ride him whenever I wish. I will even lend him to you if you need a horse for long journeys, from one village to another."

Luciana asked:
"Will you lend him to me?"

Diana replied, "Of course! If he decides to remain a horse, I will be his Mistress and Owner."

Luciana looked at her in surprise, unsure if what she had heard was a promise or a threat. The forest, silent, seemed to hold its breath. León raised his head at the sound of her name, his eyes reflecting a gleam that oscillated between human and animal.

"Diana..." Luciana said in a low, almost pleading voice, "don't talk like that. Sometimes the power to decide lies not in them, but in what you impose."

Diana smiled, serene but firm, with that mixture of sweetness and dominance that characterized her.
"Luciana, I won't impose anything. I will let him free, completely free. But freedom has its own paths... and everyone chooses their own. If León feels that his essence is better expressed on four legs than on two, who am I to deny him?"

Luciana lowered her gaze, remembering how much she had suffered seeing her former love transformed.
"I told myself that once," she whispered. "But every time I see it like this... I feel like I've lost more than I've gained."

Diana approached her, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"Not everything lost is defeated, Luciana. Sometimes, letting go of what we love is the purest form of possession."

Re: Diana

The Return (2)

Luciana looked up and saw unwavering determination on Diana's face.
"So, if he decides to stay as a horse... will you really ride him?" she asked, her voice trembling.

"Yes," Diana replied calmly. "I will ride him, I will take care of him, and he will be mine. But not as punishment... but as a bond."

Luciana looked at her for a long moment and then, with a slight gesture of resignation, nodded.
"So, if that is his destiny... so be it. But mark my words, Diana: bonds also have weight."

Diana smiled faintly, looked back at León, and said,
"I know. And I am willing to carry them... even if they are just reins."

Diana reiterated,
"You can ride him too. I'll lend him to you when you need a horse for long journeys or for fun."

Luciana looked at her with a mixture of surprise and bewilderment; She didn't know whether to laugh or shudder at Diana's natural way of speaking. The forest was still vibrating with the residual energy of the ritual, leaves and lights dancing in the air as if spirits were listening to every word.
"Are you serious?" Luciana asked, her voice wavering between disbelief and modesty. "Lend me... Leon?"

Diana nodded serenely, without a shadow of a doubt.
"Yes. If he chooses to be a horse, I don't see why not share him with you. We both knew him in his human form, we both respect him. If fate made him a mount, let his destiny serve to unite, not divide."

Luciana lowered her gaze to the leaf-covered ground.
"I don't know if that would be fair," she murmured. "In some corner of his soul, he may still have love for me."

Diana replied in a soft, almost maternal voice:
"Precisely for that reason. Sometimes, sharing a symbol helps heal what was." You won't see it as a punishment, but as a memory... a bridge between what you were and what you are now.

Luciana slowly raised her gaze, observing León, still still, tied to the tree, breathing calmly. His fur shone with the silver reflection of the moon. For a moment, she thought she saw a glimmer of recognition in his eyes, a human spark that seemed to tell her everything was all right.
"Then..." Luciana whispered, "if I ever need him, I will accept him. But only if he wants it too."

Diana smiled, satisfied, almost solemn.
"So it shall be. Let León's will decide between us, Luciana. Between the man he was... and the spirit that now lives within him."

And as she spoke those words, the wind rose between the trees, stirring their hair and blending their silhouettes with the green gloom of the forest, as if nature had sealed a pact between them.

Diana, her face serene, ran her hand along León's back, feeling the warm pulse beneath his horse's hide. The horse exhaled deeply, its breath turning to steam in the golden light descending through the branches. Diana removed the saddle and reins with slow, ceremonial movements; each gesture was an act of respect, as if she were undressing not just a beast, but the spirit that had once lived inside a man.

Luciana, a few steps behind, watched her with a mixture of wonder, desire, and melancholy. Her gaze scanned Diana's figure: the dark hair falling in waves over her back, the slim waist that drives men wild, the powerful curve of her hips, the roundness and firmness of her astonishing buttocks, the firm muscles of her thighs that strained the tight fabric of her leggings, the shine of her high boots sinking into the damp earth.
She thought, "Because of her, men lose their heads... and some even lose their human form."

When Diana removed the last piece of leather, she placed her hand on Leon's neck. Their eyes met. In the horse's, something human shone, an ancient gratitude, perhaps love, perhaps resignation.
Diana said in a firm voice, tempered with compassion:
"I free you, Leon. Let your spirit choose the path: man or horse, but free."

The echo of those words—"I free you"—resonated like a spell.

The forest seemed to hold its breath. The air vibrated with a deep, almost mineral tone as the energy of the invisible altar reawakened. The wind blew strongly, stirring leaves, dust, and dried petals. For a moment, a glow enveloped the animal's body. Luciana covered her face with her hands, feeling the vibration of the ancient power that had once marked her as well.

Re: Diana

The Arrival (1)

Diana entered the town with the solemnity of a queen returning to her domain. The sound of Stephen and Charles's firm footsteps echoed along the cobblestone streets, marking the rhythm of her arrival. Standing on Stephen's shoulders, she radiated an authority that made anyone who saw her pause.

She wore an outfit that seemed made for power: a tight-fitting white blouse that highlighted the elegance of her figure and revealed her majestic bearing, dark leggings that outlined her legs, and high leather boots that shone in the reflected sunlight. Around her waist, a belt with a metal buckle lent an air of firmness, a fitted dark vest, while a short wine-colored cape fluttered behind her with every movement of the air. Her hair, loose and lustrous, fell over her shoulders like a stream of dark fire.

Diana held the reins in her hands: those of Esteban, who was riding with her, his gaze fixed straight ahead, and those of Carlos, who followed closely, obedient and with a sure gait. Both had their torsos marked by exertion and the dust of the road, but their faces showed no complaint, only devotion.

Diana's gaze, haughty and penetrating, swept the surroundings with a calculated calm. Her expression conveyed the dominance of someone who knew the world around her surrendered to her presence. Her voice, when she spoke, was serene and profound:
"I'm back."

The murmur of the town faded, and for a moment, only the sound of Esteban's boots halting and the faint jingle of the reins between Diana's fingers could be heard. That scene remained etched in the memories of those present: a powerful woman, impassive, master of herself and of the men who followed her.

They went to Carlos's house, where she tied Carlos's reins to the ring next to the front door. Doña María came out, and Diana said:
"Did you think it was a good idea to fight fire with fire? Luciana is the fire of a bonfire, warming and protecting; meanwhile, I am the fire of a conflagration, voracious and scorching."

Diana's words fell like a spark on the stillness of the threshold. Doña María remained motionless for a moment, her gaze fixed on the woman speaking to her, with the mixture of surprise and pride that only a mother knows how to maintain when faced with someone who has left her home.
"Fight fire with fire?" the old woman replied, letting a tired smile curl her lips. "Perhaps I didn't think of it that way... I thought two fires could warm each other without destroying each other. But listen, child: a fire that shelters and a fire are not the same. One builds, the other destroys."

Carlos, tied to the ring next to the door, lowered his gaze. Her hands, still marked by the effort of the journey, gripped the reins with a mixture of obedience and pride.

The image of Luciana, standing to one side, looked at Diana with eyes that were no longer just reproachful but understanding: she knew only too well what those flames implied.
"Doña María," Luciana intervened in a low, firm voice, "no one here wishes to destroy for the sake of destroying. But the world doesn't always accept calm. Sometimes you have to be a flame that cuts so that the bonfire that shelters can later be born."

Esteban remained silent, carefully maintaining the composure that had been entrusted to him; his gaze followed Diana, who did not lower her chin. She responded with a voice that sought not to convince but to declare:
"I don't come to ravage for pleasure. I come to establish the order that I consider just. If that hurts, let it hurt; if that heals, let it heal."

Doña María sighed and, after a pause, raised her hand as if blessing and admonishing at the same time.
"Every fire has its law," she said. "But remember that the hunger for fire engulfs even the one who lights it. Take care of what you love, or the price will be higher than you expect."

Then Luciana vanished into thin air.

The plaza was filled with a heavy, expectant silence. The faces of those present reflected the conviction of someone who knows the fragility of the balance between creating and destroying; and Diana's figure, firm and serene, revealed something that no one in the town wanted to underestimate anymore: the certainty of a will that doesn't fear its own strength.

The moon was setting over the town's rooftops when Diana resumed her journey. From the doorway of Charles's house, the shadows lengthened across the cobblestones, and his silhouette—upright, commanding, perfectly balanced on Esteban's shoulders—seemed silhouetted against the golden fire.

The rhythmic sound of Esteban's firm steps echoed against the village's cobblestone streets, in time with the gentle jingle of reins, marking a solemn and almost ritualistic rhythm. Diana kept her back straight, her chin high, and her hair blowing in the wind. Her gaze was fixed straight ahead, as if each step brought her closer not only to her home, but to a destiny she had decided upon without looking back.

Re: Diana

The Arrival (2)

Diana, riding upright on Esteban's shoulders, advanced with serene majesty; her body swayed with the cadence of her movement, firm and in control, as if the journey itself recognized her authority.
Diana's attire, marked by a blend of elegance and dominance, captured the gaze of those who crossed her path. She wore a tight-fitting black blouse that highlighted the strength of her figure, dark leather riding pants that outlined her athletic build, and high, firm-heeled boots that gleamed in the moonlight, covered with a fine dusty road. Her hair, loose and coppery, moved in the wind like a living flame dancing on her back.
The reins, held in one hand by Diana, extended from Esteban's mouth to her absolute control. In her other hand, the riding crop rested against her thigh, more as a symbol of command than an instrument of punishment.

The villagers who saw her pass parted as she passed, bowing their heads, not daring to speak; some with respect, others with fear. They knew that this image—the woman dominating the scene from above, with an indecipherable gaze and a solemn gait—would remain etched in their memories long after the dust had settled. No one spoke: they knew that the returning woman was not just a traveler or a teacher, but someone who had touched the boundaries between the human and the sacred, between will and power.

When she arrived in front of her house, Diana gently reined in the reins, and Esteban stopped obediently and precisely. She looked down at him, with a slight smile that combined gratitude and power, and said in a low, almost ritualistic voice:
"Good work, Esteban. You have handled the fire well."

She descended gracefully, placing a hand on Esteban's shoulder. Then, grasping the reins, she walked toward the door of her home, the same door where the air seemed to vibrate with an echo of ancient energy, the same inner fire that had accompanied her since the altar. Diana advanced toward the threshold of her house, leaving behind the imprint of her step—that of a woman riding between will and destiny.

At the threshold of the house, the figure of her stepson waited silently. The boy had heard the sound of Esteban's approaching footsteps and the slight click of the reins that only a person knew how to handle with such mastery.

When Diana appeared before him, the moonlight outlined her silhouette, casting a majestic shadow that seemed to envelop everything. The young man lowered his head without a word, and when he had her before him, he knelt devoutly, taking the heels of her boots in his hands before bowing and kissing them with a gesture of respect and surrender.

The contact was silent, but the atmosphere was filled with a profound, almost ritualistic charge. Diana looked down on him, without harshness, only with the gaze of one who recognizes obedience and loyalty. Her voice, when she finally spoke, was soft but firm, imbued with that mixture of tenderness and authority that characterized her:
"Rise, boy. Don't forget that the paths of fire can burn or illuminate, depending on who guides them."

He looked up from his knees and nodded with reverent respect. Diana turned her face toward the interior of the house; the wind played with her hair and the brightness of the night made the dust of the paths sparkle on her freshly kissed boots. Then, without looking back, she took a step inside, followed by the expectant silence of the hearth and the obedient shadow of her stepson, who awaited further orders.

Diana didn't say a word, but she moved with the precision and elegance of someone who knew every gesture of the ritual of riding. The boy stood still without hesitation, the emotion of the kisses he placed on his Mistress's boots, a recent ritual, vibrating within him. Silver moonlight filtered through the cracks in the door as she silently placed the bit in her human horse's mouth. The animal snorted softly, acknowledging her firm and sure touch.

With measured movements, she fastened the bridle straps, checking that each buckle was snug without causing discomfort. Then, she inserted the reins into the rings of the bridle and knotted them in her belt, a gesture that sealed the bond between rider and mount.

Diana took the dark leather saddle, which gleamed in the dim light, and carefully placed it on the horse's shoulders, securing the girth with exacting firmness. The animal, docile and serene, turned its head as if waiting for the command.

Then Diana, with the innate elegance that always accompanied her, climbed onto her stepson's shoulders with a fluid, balanced, almost ritual movement, with an agile and determined step, she stepped into the stirrup, pushed off strongly and jumped into the saddle, straightening her back and taking the reins with natural authority.

Before leaving, she glanced briefly at the house; her gaze held determination and a hint of nostalgia. Then she closed the door behind her, leaving the silence of the home behind and heading down the road that awaited her, the gallop of her horse echoing in the distance, steady and rhythmic, like an echo of power and destiny.

Re: Diana

The Arrival (3)

The night air was filled with the fragrance of damp earth as Diana, riding astride him, guided him toward the forest path. Dry leaves crunched beneath their steps, and the night breeze carried the scent of damp earth. The boy moved forward with a firm, obedient stride, bearing the light but imposing weight of Diana, who directed him gently—a pressure on his legs, a gentle tug on the reins, a lash of the whip, a few spurs, a whispered command—and leaves crushed beneath Diana's weight.
Each of his steps echoed with a firm, measured rhythm, while Diana's silhouette was silhouetted among the trees. She rode with the ease of one who commands the village roads, the forest paths, and the men orbiting around her.

The young man ridden by Diana had his head slightly tilted, so the weight of his rider rested on his neck and shoulders, imagining the upright and powerful figure who guided, dominated, and controlled him. The moon tinged the contours of the branches with silver, and the air was filled with a light somewhere between mystical and solemn.

The forest greeted them with its gloom and murmur. The branches seemed to bow before the passing of that strange procession: a woman of divine bearing, erect on the shoulders of her devotee, riding toward the heart of nature where ancient mysteries awaited.

The moon, rising and silver, illuminated her figure: her loose hair shone, her boots gleamed with steely reflections, and her gaze—deep, focused—lost among the trees. She seemed to be searching for something, or someone. The young man, feeling her breath upon him, thought only of following, of not failing her, of being worthy of the honor of carrying her.
In silence, they entered the forest. The echo of their footsteps and the rhythm of their shared breathing formed a single melody, ancient and solemn, that seemed to awaken the same whispers that had once guided Luciana and León.

Diana stopped her horse in a clearing where the breeze was cooler. She turned toward him; her dark hair fell over her shoulders with a gentle movement, and her eyes, glowing like embers in the moonlight, looked at the top of his head.
"Here begins the true path," she said in a low but firm voice, almost as if she were speaking not only to him, but also to the nature that surrounded them. "The forest listens, watches, and remembers."

The boy swallowed. He felt the ground itself breathe beneath his feet, and that Diana's presence was not only human, but something deeper, something connected to the very threads of earth and air.

She urged her horse forward a few more steps and extended her hand, indicating him with a subtle gesture.
"What you will learn tonight must not be forgotten."

And together, she on top of him, they entered beneath the canopy of the trees, where the murmur of the wind seemed to blend with an ancient whisper that only Diana knew how to interpret.

The forest air vibrated with a contained energy, as if the trees themselves were holding their breath. Luciana, riding on León's shoulders, felt the shudder run through the horse's body just before the magic unfolded.

A greenish light burst from the ground and enveloped León; his muscles expanded, his skin took on an unusual glow, and in a matter of seconds the man disappeared, giving way to the imposing body of a horse with a dark, glossy coat, eyes full of intelligence and melancholy.

Luciana naturally settled herself on the horse's back, feeling the transition from human shoulders to a strong, warm back beneath her. Her hand brushed the animal's neck, and he whinnied softly, recognizing in the touch the silent voice of his rider.

The forest lit up with a silver glow. In the distance, the sound of firm footsteps on dry leaves announced the arrival of another figure: Diana, riding majestically on the shoulders of her young human horse. The moonlight reflected off her high boots, her pale blouse, and the metallic gleam of the reins she held with absolute mastery.

Seeing her, Luciana straightened her back and took hold of Leon's reins. Diana smiled serenely and, as she approached, said in a voice that seemed to echo through the trees:
"How are you, Luciana? Is my horse behaving itself?"

Luciana nodded, still amazed by the scene: the Goddess and her Disciple, both riding, both united by the energy of the altar.

But before Luciana could say a word, Diana—with that look that blended wisdom, mystery, and power—added:
"I'm leading him to the altar... what must happen, will happen."

The breeze rose, the leaves danced around them, and for a moment, the forest seemed to bow before them. Two riders, two feminine forces, advanced side by side toward the heart of the mystery: one on a horse born of desire and magic; the other on the faithful body of a man walking between devotion and destiny.

The moon guided them, a silent witness to the inevitable.

Re: Diana

The Arrival (4)

The two ladies advanced beneath the canopy of the trees, the forest bathed in silvery reflections from the moonlight. The reins clinked in gentle rhythm, León's hooves echoed against the damp earth, and the firm steps of the young man carrying Diana marked an almost ritualistic rhythm.

Luciana, upright on her mount, turned her face slightly toward her companion. Curiosity shone in her eyes as the wind played with her hair.
"Isn't he still small?" she asked with a tone somewhere between doubt and mischief, referring to the boy on whose shoulders Diana sat.

Diana smiled without taking her gaze from the path, her voice coming out with the confidence of someone who knows exactly what she's saying.
"Not at all!" she replied sweetly and firmly. "He is tall among the tall in his classroom."

Pride vibrated in her tone, not only as an affirmation of physical stature, but as a declaration of growth, of maturity.

Luciana watched her out of the corner of her eye, pondering the words. The scene—two women dominating the road, one on a horse of flesh and magic, the other on a boy of poise and dedication—resembled almost a living painting: power, elegance, and destiny intertwined under the moon.

The silence that followed was not one of discomfort, but of understanding. The forest, complicit, accompanied them with the distant call of an owl, as the two ladies continued riding toward the altar, guided by the same force that had united them: the will to dominate, and to understand what power could transform.

Luciana tilted her head with a barely perceptible smile, her voice soft but charged with meaning:
"I wasn't referring to height," she said, with that tone that mixed irony and wisdom, "but to age."

Diana turned her face toward her, the moonlight reflecting in her eyes like two mirrors of determination. Her lips curved into a slow, almost maternal smile, though with a hint of mystery.
"Age..." she repeated thoughtfully. "Since when does the soul need to age to be strong? There are young bodies with ancient spirits, Luciana, and old hearts that never learned to beat."

The wind blew through the trees, stirring the branches as if Nature itself were responding to her words. Below Luciana, León, transformed into a horse, snorted calmly, and the young man carrying Diana on his shoulders walked with the concentration and pride of someone who knew his burden was not a burden, but an honor.

Luciana looked at her in silence for a few seconds. Deep down, she understood: they weren't just talking about ages or bodies, but about the power that a will could awaken in another being, no matter how many years they had lived.

Both continued on their way, wrapped in the blue moonlight, two ladies guided by different but equally strong convictions. Each step of their mounts marked an ancestral rhythm, as if the forest listened and approved of this dialogue between two women who understood, each in her own way, the art of domination and teaching.

Luciana tightened her grip on the reins, her upright posture on de León's back radiating authority, but her voice, as she spoke, held a hint of genuine concern:
"He hasn't yet celebrated his initiation ceremony; he's still a 'yet,'" she said emphatically, as if that word carried more weight than any argument.

Diana, without pausing, lifted her chin, letting the light of the forest play on the contours of her face. The night air gently stirred her hair, and her gaze, serene but firm, rested on Luciana.
"I know," she replied. "But the moon doesn't ask about age, it only recognizes will."
She gently touched the shoulder of the young man carrying her and added, "He chose to come. No one who is unprepared can walk in this light with me."

Luciana clicked her tongue softly, more out of respect than disagreement.
"The will may be pure, but innocence is also a fire, Diana. If you bring it too close to the altar, it could burn before its time."

Diana smiled, a smile that was half tenderness, half defiance.
"Perhaps. But some fires are meant to be lit young. Mother Nature decides when a soul awakens, not calendars."

The silence of the forest seemed to respond with a rustle of leaves and a chorus of crickets. Leon snorted, lowering his head in an almost reverent gesture, and the young man carrying Diana moved forward without hesitation, his eyes shining, as if he understood more than his age should allow.

In that scene, Luciana and Diana were two sides of the same truth: one spoke of prudence, the other of destiny. And between them, the forest held the promise of a new revelation.

Diana's Decision (1)

While sharing dinner with her stepson, Diana moved her cutlery slowly, more out of contemplation than hunger. Each gesture seemed measured, as if seeking to synchronize her inner self with the tranquil rhythm of the evening.
In her mind, one thought repeated itself insistently, firmly, and serenely:
"What happened with Carlos shouldn't have happened. I know he's my faithful dog, always ready to obey, but I must keep him away from me. Not for lack of affection, but to protect our balance and the path we must follow."

Her eyes fell on her stepson as he spoke, and a warm smile curved her lips. No one would have suspected that, behind that serenity, Diana silently and determinedly organized the order of her affections, maintaining harmony between magic, family, and everyday life.

The young man looked at her with confidence, unaware of the storm of thoughts she was holding back, and without knowing it, his mere presence calmed Diana's inner world, reminding her that there would always be someone by her side to guide her through every decision.

When they finished dinner, the young man busied himself with washing the dishes, cutlery, and pots, his movements precise and calm. As he left the kitchen, the soft light from the hallway illuminated him, and there was Diana, leaning against the doorframe, her posture elegant and firm, her gaze clear and serene.
"Come with me," she said gently, without raising her voice, as if issuing an irrefutable invitation.

He followed her silently, aware of her every movement, like a loyal guard dog. When they reached her bedroom door,

Diana stopped. She turned to him and, with a mixture of affection and firmness, added:
"I need your company tonight, but we won't sleep in the same bed."

The young man nodded without hesitation. He understood the clarity of her words, the invisible line of respect and care Diana maintained between them. He entered the room and settled discreetly, close to her, feeling that her mere presence brought him security and closeness, as the night began to envelop them in silence and calm.

While Diana retired to the adjoining room to change her clothes, the young man remained inside, moving with calm and precision. He tidied the room, folding the clothes carefully and placing them in their proper place, as if each item had its own place in the world.
His hands also worked to polish Diana's boots, following every curve of the leather with respect and attention. Each gesture was silent, meticulous, a show of dedication that went beyond the call of duty; it was a way of honoring the one who entrusted him so much.
The room was filled with an air of calm, an unspoken harmony between the recipient of care and the one who gave it, as the soft afternoon light filtered through the window, caressing both faces. Diana, from the other room, felt the young man's presence, certain that her surroundings were in good hands, while she finished preparing for the night.

Diana returned to the room with soft, purposeful steps. Her hair fell freely over her shoulders, and she was wearing a light nightgown paired with shorts that gave her comfort without detracting from her elegance. The lamplight barely illuminated the room, casting warm shadows on the walls and furniture.

She paused for a few seconds, observing her stepson, who was still putting away the last few things. Her gaze was serene and maternal, yet full of natural authority, like someone who knows that her presence maintains order and calm.
"Thank you for helping me," Diana said in a soft voice, more in recognition than praise. "You may go back to your place; I'm ready to rest."

The young man nodded respectfully, understanding that his role was to protect and nurture, while always maintaining clear boundaries. The room fell silent, save for the faint murmur of the wind blowing through the window, as Diana settled in for the night.

Before settling in for sleep, Diana sat on the edge of the bed, crossing her legs with natural elegance. The dim lamplight cast soft shadows over her face and the contours of her figure, projecting an imposing and serene presence.
Her stepson knelt before her, his eyes attentive and respectful, like someone who knew every word he spoke would be heard with the utmost consideration.
"Tell me the truth," Diana demanded, her voice calm but firm. "What did you see when you came in and I stayed outside with Carlos—I mean, with the motorcycle?"

The young man hesitated for a moment, replaying what had happened in his memory. His lips moved carefully, searching for a way to express his experience without being disrespectful, but also without hiding anything.
“I’ve seen… the transformation, Mom,” he said finally. “I’ve seen how magic can change shapes, how everything can be different and yet remain the same. I’ve seen your strength, your will, and your care, all at once.”

Diana stared at him, a mixture of pride and understanding shining in her eyes.
“Good,” she replied. “That is the truth I was hoping for. Never forget that what you see is only part of what happens. Magic also resides in what is unseen, in what remains silent.”

The stepson nodded, understanding that that night he had learned more than just magic: he had learned about trust, respect, and each person’s place in Diana’s world.

Re: Diana

Diana's Decision (2)

As they conversed in the quiet dimness of the room, he knelt before her with serenity and dedication. His hands gently ran over Diana's feet, applying gentle massages that relieved the day's fatigue. Also, with a gesture of reverence and affection, he placed kisses on the bare skin of Diana's feet.

Diana watched him silently, her legs crossed on the bed, with a gaze that combined authority and affection. There was no rush, no demand: every movement of the young man was an expression of care and loyalty, a silent act that strengthened the trust between them.
"Good," Diana said in a soft voice, almost a whisper. "That attention shows that you understand what it means to care. It's not just to obey, but to accompany and protect."

The young man nodded, focused, feeling that his every gesture was received as an act of gratitude and teaching. The night remained peaceful, wrapped in calm and respect, as they shared that intimate moment of mutual care, without the need for additional words.

Diana watched him calmly, her legs crossed, her posture reflecting authority and serenity at the same time. The lamplight gently caressed his face, accentuating the firmness of his eyes.
"Did you see anything else?" she asked, her voice calm but charged with intent, inviting sincerity.

The young man hesitated for a moment, feeling the weight of the question. His gaze lowered to the floor, then met Diana's again.
"I have seen," he said, choosing his words carefully, "how everything that happens around you obeys your will, how even the impossible is transformed by your decision. And I have also seen... that magic is not only in things, but in you."

Diana smiled, as if that silent acknowledgment completed something within her.
"That is correct," she replied softly. The magic you see, the strength you perceive... comes from care, respect, and awareness of what you're doing. Never forget that.

The young man nodded, understanding that that night was not only a learning experience about the extraordinary, but also about the responsibility and balance that comes with being with someone like Diana.

Diana remained seated on the bed, calmly crossing her legs. The lamplight caressed her face, projecting an aura of serenity and firmness. Her eyes, intense but calm, rested on her stepson.
"Son," she said in a clear and direct voice, "my question will be direct, and you must answer honestly: Did you see what I did to Carlos?"

The young man swallowed, sensing the importance of the moment. His gaze lowered for a moment, then rose again toward her, ready to offer the truth as he had witnessed it.
"Yes, Mom," he answered honestly. "I saw how you transformed him, how you turned him into the motorcycle, and then how he became him again." I saw that he obeyed your will, and I understood that everything you do has a purpose.

Diana looked at him with satisfaction, a slight smile curving her lips.
"Good," she said. "It's important that you see clearly, that you understand the responsibility of magic and power. Every act has consequences, and your honesty assures me that you understood that."

The young man nodded, understanding that this conversation was not only about magic, but about trust, respect, and the relationship of guidance and care that existed between them.

Diana settled into the bed, crossing her legs for a moment before looking gently at her stepson.
"Son," she said, in a calm and firm voice, "cover yourself with blankets and lie down close to me, as close as you can. I know the floor is hard, but you are not the first man, nor will you be the last, to sleep on the floor because of me."

The young man nodded, understanding that those words were not a reproach, but rather a sign of the firmness and care that always guided him. Carefully, he took the blankets Diana indicated, wrapped himself in the blankets, and settled next to the bed, so close that he felt the warmth of the surroundings and Diana's protective presence.

She watched him for a moment, making sure he was comfortable, and then lay back again, letting the quiet of the night fill the room. The silence became a shared refuge, where physical closeness was also a symbol of protection and mutual trust.

Re: Diana

Diana's Decision (3)

The room was silent, barely lit by the faint light filtering through the window. Diana lay back on the bed, gently adjusting the covers, while her stepson settled on the floor near her, wrapped in the warmth of the blankets.

She watched him for a moment, noticing how he carefully tucked himself in, and her lips curved into a slight smile. Although he was on the floor, his closeness reassured her; she could feel his protective presence, firm and constant.
"Rest," Diana whispered. "I'm here."

The young man closed his eyes, feeling how Diana's authority and tenderness brought him peace. At the same time, he felt a duty to watch over her, to be alert to any movement or noise that might disturb her. Every gesture, every breath, was a silent act of mutual protection.

The night drew on slowly, and the room was filled with a comforting silence, where Diana's strength and her stepson's loyalty intertwined. She cared for him with her presence and guidance, he cared for her with his attention and closeness. They both slept at the same time, aware that, even in the stillness, their bond of care and protection remained intact.

Before closing her eyes, Diana lay down and let the softness of the blankets envelop her. Her legs crossed slightly, and the dim light in the room caressed her face as her mind replayed the day's events.
"He didn't tell me about my hug and kiss with Carlos," she thought, with a mixture of thoughtfulness and firmness. Perhaps he didn't see it, or perhaps his love and loyalty to me made him forget. Either way, it's best to send Carlos away... to protect my husband and my son.

The thought brought her clarity and determination. She knew that every action had a consequence and that her care must balance the affection, magic, and safety of those she loved. She felt the closeness of her stepson, tucked into the floor beside her, and that sense of mutual protection gave her peace of mind.

With a serene sigh, Diana closed her eyes, confident that, despite the challenges, the harmony and loyalty between them remained strong, and that the night would be a safe haven for all.

The next morning, the house was bathed in golden sunlight. The aroma of toasted bread and freshly brewed coffee filled the air. Diana's stepson had lovingly prepared breakfast, and the two shared the table with calm smiles and brief words.

After seeing him off on his way to school, Diana watched him walk down the street, feeling that mixture of tenderness and pride his presence evoked.
Back home, she picked up her phone and dialed a number.
"Good morning, Vanessa," she greeted in a sweet but firm voice.

"Hello, Diana," the other replied calmly.

"I need your support."

"What happened?" Vanessa asked, sensing the underlying tone in Diana's voice.

Diana gave a brief, somewhat ironic laugh before answering:
"You know what happened... because you've been spying on me through Carlos's bionic eye since the day he unexpectedly arrived."

There was a silence on the other end of the line, a silence filled with tension, recognition, and a certain complicity.

"How did you realize?" Vanessa asked.

"Is that important?" Diana questioned.

"Yes, so we know where we went wrong because the bionic eye is supposed to be undetectable."

Diana smiled at the answer.
"Undetectable?" she repeated, her tone somewhere between mockery and curiosity. Nothing is undetectable when a woman's heart is troubled.

Vanessa was silent for a few seconds, weighing her words.
"So... what gave him away?" she persisted, now more interested than worried.

"Carlos's gaze," Diana replied. "He didn't blink the same way; his pupil had a slight blue tinge when he looked into the light. Also, every time he mentioned your name, his eye made a micro-adjustment, as if searching for focus."

Vanessa clicked her tongue in frustration.
"That shouldn't have happened," she murmured. "The implant was calibrated to appear completely organic."

"Well," Diana said calmly, "now you know that your machines can be as vulnerable as your emotions."

Vanessa sighed.
"It wasn't spying, Diana. I just wanted to make sure you were okay... after everything that happened with your husband and Carlos."

Diana was silent for a few seconds before answering:
"Don't worry, Vanessa. I'm fine... and when I need your help, I'll ask you directly, not through someone else's eyes."

Re: Diana

Diana's Decision (4)

Diana said,
"As a dermatologist would say, let's get straight to the point. Take Carlos and his mother with him, do whatever you want to him in your research center."

Vanessa corrected,
"Research center."

Diana said,
"Center for whatever, but take him and his mother."

Vanessa frowned, surprised by Diana's firm tone.
"His mother too?" she asked, trying to confirm if she had heard correctly.

Diana nodded slowly.
"Yes. She defends him, condones him, and justifies him. If Carlos goes with you, she must go too. I don't want any more ties between them and my house."

Vanessa crossed her arms, leaning on her lab desk.
"You know I don't usually question you, but... why now? Carlos is loyal to you."

Diana took a deep breath.
"Because loyalty isn't enough when the heart is confused. He doesn't know if he serves me, loves me, or spies on me. And that, Vanessa, is a risk I can't allow."

Vanessa watched her for a few seconds through the screen, then lowered her voice.
"I understand. I'll take care of everything. They'll come pick you up this afternoon."

Diana nodded calmly.
"Perfect. When they're there, do what you have to do, but make sure Carlos doesn't remember anything... not about me, not about what he felt."

Vanessa swallowed.
"Do you want me to erase his emotional memory too? That could..."

"Yes," Diana interrupted. "I don't want his mind or his heart to come looking for me again."

Vanessa looked at her silently, with a mixture of respect and compassion.
"Done."

Diana smiled faintly.
"Thank you, Vanessa. You know... sometimes love also requires surgery."

The news spread surprisingly quickly. In the plaza, in the market, and even on the local radio station, everyone was talking about the unexpected event:
Carlos, the quiet and helpful boy, had been contacted by a prestigious research center in the city. They said his talent had been discovered by scientists looking for young people with special abilities.

"Imagine!" commented Doña Rosa at the bakery, "Carlos, Doña María's son, working with doctors and engineers!"

"And Señora María will accompany him," added another. "What a blessing, although poor Don Carlos, he'll be left alone."

Meanwhile, Don Carlos, the father, sat on a bench in the plaza, listening silently to the neighbors' comments. His gaze was lost in the distance, with a mixture of pride and sadness.
He knew something wasn't quite right—his wife hadn't told him much, only that the trip was urgent and that it was "an opportunity he couldn't refuse."

At home, Doña María was packing quickly. She had received precise instructions: light clothing, documents, and no metallic objects. It all sounded strange, but the official letter from the research center bore authentic seals and a formal, impeccable tone.

Carlos, for his part, seemed calm, almost resigned, as if something inside him knew this trip wasn't a prize, but a destiny he couldn't avoid.

When the "research center" vehicle arrived, Diana watched discreetly from the window of her house. She showed no emotion. She only murmured to herself:
"Everything's in order. Now calm will return."

The engine started, kicking up dust on the road.
Luciana, who was passing by, saw Diana watching the vehicle drive away and asked:
"Does it hurt to let go?"

Diana replied in a low but firm voice:
"Sometimes, Luciana, control demands surrender."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (1)

A short time later, Vanessa rode up on a motorcycle, smiled at Diana, and invited her:
"Hop on!"

Diana watched her with a half-smile, crossing her arms. The midday sun shone on Vanessa's silver helmet, and the motorcycle beneath her roared with a metallic, almost animal pulse.
"And now you ride too?" Diana asked mockingly.

Vanessa, smiling, replied:
"I learned from the best. Besides, this bike isn't just any bike; it's a prototype inspired by your riding style."

Diana raised an eyebrow, interested.
"What does that mean?"

Vanessa tilted her head and extended her gloved hand.
"That this machine was designed to follow your impulses. It doesn't need keys, or fuel. Just... your energy."

For a moment, the two women's gazes met, a spark of rivalry and mutual respect. Diana, after a brief silence, placed a boot on the footrest and climbed in behind Vanessa.
"Then show me what it's capable of," she said in her companion's ear.

The engine responded with a high-pitched roar. The motorcycle moved forward, leaving a cloud of dust in its wake, while the wind stirred the two women's hair, intertwining it as if the machine itself were celebrating their union.

The townspeople, watching them leave, murmured:
"There go Diana and Vanessa... the two women who master speed."

Diana said:
"Your motorcycle is as docile as a man. Dr. Victor Frankenstein. Did you put a man's brain in your creature?"

Vanessa gave a short, almost electric laugh, while the motorcycle vibrated beneath them as if it understood what Diana had said.
"No, Diana," she replied, turning her face slightly to look at her over her shoulder. "It's not a man... although it has the obedience of one."

Diana narrowed her eyes and replied wryly,
"That sounds like you did. Only a man would be so subservient when a woman commands him to go or stop."

Vanessa smiled, enjoying the verbal play.
"Let's just say this bike learns from whoever rides it. If you were riding it, maybe it would become more rebellious... or more submissive."

Diana leaned her torso forward, almost touching Vanessa's ear, and whispered,
"Or maybe it would become mine."

The engine roared with sudden force, as if it had sensed the challenge in her voice. Vanessa gripped the handlebars, maintaining control.
"Careful, Diana. This machine responds to emotions, and you have too many."

Diana smiled, enjoying the power implicit in her words.
"So it adores me," she said.

Vanessa glanced at the speedometer, which climbed without her touching the throttle.
"Yes," she admitted with a tight smile. "And that worries me."

The motorcycle continued to move forward with increasing speed, propelled by the energy and tension between the two women.

Vanessa stopped the motorcycle and said,
"This machine is restless, let's talk."

Diana replied,
"Yes, Victor."

Vanessa cut the engine, and the silence that followed was almost eerie after the constant roar. The breeze stirred her hair and lifted some of the dust from the road. They both dismounted the motorcycle, which still seemed to vibrate with a contained energy, as if it were breathing.
"Don't call me Victor," Vanessa said with a tired smile, crossing her arms. "I'm not a monster creator."

Diana, still staring at the motorcycle, retorted playfully,
"Don't underestimate yourself. Victor Frankenstein also said the same thing at the beginning."

Vanessa sighed.
"This isn't a creature, Diana. It's an extension of the human will. A body without an ego, a structure designed to amplify the emotions of its rider."

Diana tilted her head and smiled crookedly.
"So, that's a man before me."

"Yes," Vanessa answered frankly. "That's why she's restless. She feels your power. Machines don't lie, Diana. You generate an emotional field so strong it disrupts the systems around you."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (2)

Diana took a step toward the motorcycle and touched it with her fingertips; the metallic surface responded with a faint pulse of blue light.
"So you didn't create it," she said softly. "You merely shaped something I already used on men."

Vanessa nodded slowly.
"Exactly. But what you know how to do... can also destroy. If your mind loses its balance, this machine could become uncontrollable."

Diana turned to her, with a smile that mixed defiance and understanding.
"Calm down, Doctor. I never lose control."

The motorcycle, hearing her voice, turned on its headlights of its own accord, as if it were looking at her.

Diana said, "Victor Frankenstein, in addition to being a scientist, was an alchemist and a necromancer."

Vanessa raised an eyebrow, amused by the tone in which Diana spoke those words.

"Are you implying that I'm a sorceress as well as a scientist?" she asked ironically.

Diana smiled slowly, her eyes shining with both mischief and wisdom.
"I'm not implying it, I'm affirming it," she replied. "Science alone doesn't create life... it needs the fire that isn't taught in laboratories. You have that fire, and you used it."

Vanessa was silent for a few seconds, watching Diana as if she were studying her.
"You speak of the vital spark," she said finally. "The ancients called it anima. Philosophers sought it in the soul, physicists in energy. You... you carry it within you, and that frightens me."

Diana gave a short, musical laugh, almost mocking.
"Do not fear me, Vanessa. Fear men who try to possess what they do not understand."

Vanessa looked down at the motorcycle, which was still emitting that faint pulse of blue light.
"So who are you, Diana?" A woman who masters matter, or matter that has learned to have a will of its own?

Diana took a step closer, until she stood before her, her shadow projecting onto the metal and dust of the road.
"I am the synthesis," she whispered. "The perfect alchemy of desire, power, and destiny."

The motorcycle roared on, untouched.

"Besides," Diana added, "we two have the same nature, don't we, sister? Or should I call you Goddess Aphrodite?"

Vanessa opened her eyes, surprised by the solemn, almost mystical tone with which Diana spoke those words. The wind blew between them, lifting the golden dust from the road as if the surroundings themselves recognized the weight of the revelation.
"Goddess..." Vanessa repeated with a half-smile, somewhere between astonishment and disbelief. "It's been centuries since anyone has called me that."

Diana took a step forward, her gaze firm, deep, almost reverent.
"Then I wasn't mistaken," she said. "I felt your energy from the first day you arrived in town, disguised as a scientist. The machines you create aren't simple inventions... they're extensions of your divinity."

Vanessa lifted her chin, as if awakening an ancient memory.
"And you," she replied softly, "are no ordinary woman. You have blended magic and flesh, passion and dominion. Within you lives the spark that the gods lost when they abandoned Earth."

"That's why we recognized each other," Diana said, smiling with an almost celestial glow. "Because we share the same essence. Yours creates life in metal. Mine awakens it in hearts."

Vanessa sighed.
"Perhaps we are two sides of the same myth. You, the fire that burns; I, the intelligence that contains it."

"Fire and intelligence," Diana repeated, extending a hand toward her. Two goddesses reunited in a world that forgot goddesses.

Vanessa took Diana's hand. The motorcycle vibrated gently, as if acknowledging its creators.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (3)

The air seemed to freeze.
When Diana and Vanessa embraced, the line between the human and the divine blurred. A golden glow emanated from their bodies, ascending in spirals that illuminated the horizon as if the sun had decided to kneel before them.

The motorcycle trembled, its metal clanging with an almost reverential murmur. Around them, the dust of the road rose and swirled in soft eddies, forming a luminous corona over the two women.

Vanessa closed her eyes, resting her forehead against Diana's shoulder.
"I'd forgotten what it feels like," she whispered. "To be acknowledged... to be understood."

"And I'd forgotten that I'm not alone," Diana replied, her voice a warm echo that seemed to spring from the earth itself. "We're part of the same flame, you and I."

An energy flowed from their clasped hands that made the air vibrate; The nearby trees trembled, and the flowers of the countryside opened as if it were spring at dusk.

For a moment, the world seemed to remember the antiquity of its power: two reborn divinities, one with the gift of desire and the other with the gift of creation, united in perfect balance.

When the light dissipated, the two remained embracing, breathing the same air, smiling knowingly.

Vanessa said softly,
"Perhaps fate brought us together for something greater than ourselves."

Diana nodded.
"Then, sister," she said sweetly, "let's begin to awaken the sleeping world."

Vanessa said,
"One eye on Carlos isn't much help; we can't judge depth or distance."

Diana replied,
"It's a surgical ablation procedure, and you're giving him another bionic eye."

Vanessa said, looking at Diana's high heels,
"Or an accident could happen."

Diana tilted her head, and a barely perceptible smile curved her lips.
The sun was setting, tinting their faces an amber hue. In the silence that followed Vanessa's words, even the motorcycle seemed to catch its breath.
"An accident?" Diana repeated, her voice soft but steely. "Don't forget, Sister, that accidents are sometimes guided by invisible hands."

Vanessa crossed her arms, her scientist's coat billowing in the evening breeze.
"I know. But you yourself said we must awaken the sleeping world. To do that, sometimes we must sacrifice those who still dream."

"Carlos is not a dream," Diana replied calmly. "He's a mirror. And a broken mirror always returns dangerous fragments."

Vanessa smiled, now with divine coldness.
"Then we'll replace it. Two new eyes. Two visions. One for me, one for you."

Diana looked down at her heels, moving them elegantly on the ground, leaving a perfect imprint.
"If there's an accident, Vanessa, I'll make sure the ground remembers who caused it."

For a few seconds, the tension between them shone brighter than the fading light.
Then Vanessa giggled nervously, though her eyes were still bright.
"You know, Diana, there's something about you that fascinates me... and something that terrifies me."

"You said the same thing about fire," Diana replied, turning slowly toward the motorcycle. "Until you learned that it doesn't go out: it's either tamed or consumed."

The roar of the engine interrupted the silence.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (4)

Diana climbed onto the motorcycle, Vanessa behind her. Diana said to the motorcycle:
"You know, you're a dominated man: I ride you, I step on you, and I drive you."

The motorcycle roared as it understood Diana's words. The engine vibrated under her control, trembling with a mixture of power and submission.
Vanessa, sitting behind her, wrapped her arms around her companion's waist, feeling Diana's energy merge with the machine.

The wind hit their faces as they moved along the road that disappeared into the hills.

Diana, without taking her eyes off the horizon, spoke clearly, almost whispering to the roar of the engine:
"The perfect balance between strength and obedience... that's how the world should work."

Vanessa rested her chin on her shoulder and replied, amused:
"And you're the one holding the reins, aren't you?"

"Always," Diana said. Because the day man stops being ridden, chaos will reign again.

Vanessa let out a laugh that the wind dispersed.
"And to think that many believe science controls life. But you, Diana... you control willpower."

"Don't confuse willpower with submission," she replied softly. "I only drive it... like this man of iron."

Diana pressed down with her right foot, and the motorcycle responded with a powerful roar that propelled them uphill, their speed increasing, the wind whipping through their hair like a flag of fire.

For a moment, the three forces—woman, machine, and destiny—seemed like a single entity.

They arrived at a house where the research center's vehicle was parked, Doña María sleeping peacefully. Upon entering the house, Vanessa introduced Diana to Galatea. Diana said,
"Galatea, the marble statue brought to life by the goddess Aphrodite, you are far more beautiful than legend tells us."

Galatea bowed her head slightly, with an almost superhuman grace. Her skin had a pearly glow, as if the marble from which she was once sculpted still lived beneath her flesh. She smiled faintly, with that unsettling serenity possessed by creatures who have known both eternal stillness and divine awakening.
"And you, Diana," she replied in a melodious voice, "are more real than any sculptor dreamed. Aphrodite has given you something she didn't even grant me: the fire of will."

Vanessa watched them silently, fascinated. Two presences beyond all human measure were now in the same room.

Diana walked slowly around Galatea, observing her from head to toe.
"So you are the perfect model, the dream made flesh, the work a man loved so much that life itself bowed to his desire."

"And you," Galatea replied, without looking away, "are the woman who turns her desire into destiny. Aphrodite gave me form... but to you, Diana, she gave dominion."

Vanessa chimed in, her tone almost solemn:
"The past and the future meet today. Galatea, the daughter of art, and Diana, the daughter of fire."

Diana smiled.
"And you, Vanessa, the daughter of science. Three paths that lead to the same power."

Galatea took a step closer, so close that the air between them seemed to ignite.
"And what do you wish of me, Diana?"

Diana answered without hesitation:
"That you help me understand how far the creation of a goddess ends... and where that of a woman begins. The dominion she has."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (5)

Galatea looked at her with a glow that mixed bewilderment and fascination.
"Dominion...?" she repeated slowly. "If Aphrodite gave me will, it was to love, not to dominate. I was born from a man's desire, his yearning for perfection, and when I opened my eyes, the first thing I saw was his face, kneeling before me."

Diana smiled with a calmness that contained centuries of understanding.
"And that is the key, Galatea. You saw him kneeling not because he worshipped you as a Goddess, but because he instinctively recognized your power. Love was only the veil. Beneath that love was surrender."

Galatea tilted her head, thoughtful.
"I always thought I was created to please, to reciprocate the love that gave me existence. If that is surrender... where is my freedom?"

"In my conscience," Diana replied, moving closer. Creation doesn't bind you; only the fear of discovery keeps you immobile. Aphrodite gave you life, but the fire of will is a dormant flame. When you understand that, no sculptor, god, or destiny can dictate what you do.

Galatea looked up; her voice was now a whisper.
"And when that fire awakens... what will become of men?"

Diana leaned toward her, so close that her warm breath touched her marble-turned-flesh skin.
"You are mistaken, Galatea, because Aphrodite has given you the fire of will, and she also gave you dominion or domination. Only they have not yet awakened. But when they awaken, men will fall at your feet—or rather, beneath your feet."

The silence that followed was thick, as if the air itself were bending around those words. Galatea closed her eyes for a moment, and when she opened them, her gaze seemed more human than ever... and more dangerous.
"If that's true," she finally said, "then men will no longer sculpt Goddesses. It will be the Goddesses who sculpt the world."

Diana nodded with a slight smile.
"Exactly. And in that new world, obedience will not be submission, but recognition. Creation will not be servitude, but awareness."

Vanessa, who had listened silently, chimed in from a corner:
"Perhaps that was what Aphrodite intended all along... for the works to surpass the creators."

Galatea looked at her own hands, as if for the first time she felt them truly alive.
"Then... the awakening has begun."

While Diana and Galatea conversed, they walked together through the garden of the compound. With each step, the earth vibrated beneath their feet, acknowledging each other's presence.
Carlos, lying on the grass, raised his gaze to the sky, watching the two female figures advance, enveloped in a golden glow. She felt no fear, but a strange peace, as if she understood that her role was not to resist, but to witness the awakening of something greater.

Diana, without looking at him, said softly:
"Look, Galatea... even the ground, even the air, recognizes when the will awakens."

Galatea nodded, feeling the energy emanating from Diana also begin to course through her own body, giving new meaning to the world and to herself.

Vanessa silently observed Diana's high heels, shining like sharp blades in the midday light.
Her eyes met those of Carlos, who remained motionless, his breath bated. A dense electricity, a feeling of foreboding, lingered in the air.

Vanessa thought: Sometimes power doesn't need accidents; it only needs consciousness to transform.

Diana, sensing her thought, said without looking at her:
"Do not be afraid, sister. Every destiny is fulfilled when it must be fulfilled."

The atmosphere remained suspended, as if time were waiting for the next word or the next gesture to decide everyone's course.

Diana advanced on Carlos, who lay on the ground, staring up at the sky. She took a step forward, then another, and another, her shadow completely covering him.

The shine of her heels reflected the sunlight, but there was no threat in her gesture, only authority.

Suddenly, everything happened in fractions of a second.
A high heel sinking into an eye, Diana losing her balance, and Galatea holding her.

Vanessa barely managed to shout Carlos's name before the calm was broken.

Then, silence. Only the echo of running footsteps, hurried orders, the instruments in the center activating.
Diana remained motionless for a few moments, unsure if what had just happened was a coincidence or the fulfillment of something predicted.

"To the operating room, now," Vanessa ordered in a firm voice.
The medical team responded immediately. The door closed behind them and the red light of the operating room came on.

Diana, her eyes fixed on that light, murmured:
"Perhaps destiny cannot be avoided, but it can be understood."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (6)

Galatea wrapped her arms around her and gently led her to a garden bench.
The leaves moved faintly, as if they too were silent.
Diana sat down, still not fully understanding what had happened, and lowered her gaze to her high heel, that symbol of power that now seemed like a burden.

Galatea looked at her tenderly.
"Calm down, child," she said in a serene voice, "it wasn't your fault."

Diana sighed, the air trembling in her chest.
"What if it was, Galatea?" she murmured. "If my power attracts harm... if what I touch ends up hurting..."

Galatea took one of her hands and held it in her own, warm and firm.
"Do not confuse fate with guilt," she replied. "You embody the strength of will. Sometimes, when the will moves, the world trembles... but the trembling is not evil, it is life seeking balance."

Diana nodded silently.
The wind blew gently, moving both women's hair, as if an invisible presence enveloped and comforted them.

Galatea looked down and saw Diana's high heel: shiny in the light, but stained with a viscous mixture of blood and vitreous humor.

Diana looked at it too, silently, with an expression of guilt and wonder.

Galatea, in a calm but firm voice, said,
"We must clean the high heel of your boot."

Diana barely whispered,
"Yes... but not just the heel, Galatea. My conscience too."

Galatea looked at her compassionately.
"Metal is cleansed with water and fire," she said, "but the soul is cleansed with truth."

Then she stood up, took a white cloth from the nearby table, and soaked it in water. She knelt before Diana and slowly began to clean the heel.
Each movement was delicate, almost ritualistic.
The red was slowly fading, but the metallic reflection of the heel continued to project the image of the fatal moment.

Diana looked away.
"It wasn't just an accident," she murmured. "It was a consequence."

Galatea looked up at her, still cleaning.
"Then let it also be a beginning," she replied. "Of understanding, not of guilt."

The wind blew again, stirring the leaves in the garden and dissipating, for a moment, the smell of iron that still lingered in the air.

Diana smiled:
"The first time a woman has cleaned my high heels."

Galatea replied:
"And with a white cloth, because men always do it with their lips and tongues."

Diana replied:
"You're not like them."

Galatea smiled slightly, without looking up from the heel she continued to clean.
Her voice, soft but full of meaning, replied:
"No, Diana." I'm not like them... because I wasn't created to kneel, but to learn why others do.

Diana watched her silently. There was a serenity about Galatea that wasn't submissive, but a restrained, almost divine strength.
The white cloth continued sliding over the metal until it was clean and shiny, as if tragedy had never touched it.

Diana then said, with a hint of irony and tenderness:
"Aphrodite gave you beauty, but also wisdom. Perhaps even more than the sculptor imagined."

Galatea looked up. Her eyes had an almost human depth, but something in their gaze still belonged to marble.
"Wisdom isn't given, Diana," she replied calmly. "It's awakened. You awaken it in men when they look at you. I try to awaken it in myself when I listen to you."

Diana smiled, touching Galatea's face with her fingertips.
"Then, sister, let us learn together... because even goddesses stumble on their own heels."

Galatea laughed softly, folded the clean cloth, and set it aside.
"And when that happens," she said, "there's always another goddess to help lift them up."

The wind stirred her hair, and for a moment, both of them—the woman and the lifelike statue—seemed like reflections of a single will, united by a mixture of guilt, understanding, and power.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (7)

Vanessa returned from the operating room and said:
"Diana's high heels..."

Galatea raised a hand and said:
"Not another word about Diana's high heels. She already has enough grief and regret without you reminding her. Tell us about Charles's health."

Vanessa paused, surprised by the authority in Galatea's voice.
She lowered her gaze, took a deep breath, and, in a calmer tone, replied:
"Charles is stable. The operation was delicate, but we managed to save his vision. The new bionic implant is working... although it will take time to see if his nervous system will accept it."

Diana closed her eyes for a moment. Her chest heaved with a sigh that seemed to contain guilt, relief, and resignation.

Galatea, still holding her hand outstretched, gently placed it on Diana's arm and said:
"See?" Life isn't broken so easily, Diana. Not even when the gods touch it.

Vanessa nodded, though her gaze still hovered between science and mystery.
"However," she added, "there's something else. During the surgery, the sensors picked up a reaction... a signal that wasn't coming from the bionic eye. It was as if Carlos... was responding to you."

Diana slowly turned her face toward her.
"Me?"

"Yes," Vanessa said. "His pulse quickened every time we spoke your name. As if he were searching for you, even in his sleep."

Galatea glanced at her and commented, in a low but firm voice, "That wasn't done by technology, Vanessa. That's done by the bond. The will that takes root beyond the body."

Vanessa sighed.
"Perhaps you're right... though I couldn't explain it with equations."

Diana stood slowly.
"Not everything that exists needs explaining," she said. "Some things just need redemption."

Silence fell between the three women, and for the first time in a long time, Vanessa—the scientist—felt that faith could be like energy: invisible, but impossible to deny.

Diana said to Galatea:
"Did you realize what just happened? Because of me, to protect me, you imposed your will on Vanessa, silencing her, and then you told her what she should say. You dominated her. You have within you the fire of will and domination. And you did this not before a man, but before the Great Vanessa."

Galatea remained motionless for a few seconds, her gaze fixed on Diana, as if the words she had just spoken had opened a mirror within her. Then she smiled with a mixture of wonder and trembling.
"I didn't think about it," she replied slowly. "I just... felt I had to protect you. I felt that Vanessa's words could hurt you more than any physical wound."

Diana nodded, with that serenity of hers that seemed to envelop everything.
"Exactly that, Galatea. That impulse didn't come from the marble or the mold that shaped you. It came from you. When you protected, when you imposed silence, you didn't obey an order or follow a program: you exercised your own will."

Galatea looked down at her hands, holding the stained white cloth.
"So... have I awakened?"

Diana smiled.
"You have begun to do so. Aphrodite gave you life, but you give yourself freedom. When a woman dares to say 'enough' or 'so be it,' she is awakening the fire that slumbers deep within her spirit."

Vanessa, listening a step away, crossed her arms, uncomfortable between science and myth.
"Do you mean my creation... has surpassed its programming?"

Diana turned to her.
"No, Vanessa. I mean you have freed it, even if you didn't know it. Marble no longer remembers the sculptor when it learns to sense the sun."

Galatea raised her face, and for the first time, her gaze shone with a distinct certainty: neither that of a slave nor a statue, but that of a woman beginning to understand her power.
"So," she said, "if I have a will... I can no longer just obey. I can also decide."

Diana nodded, with a slight, proud smile.
"Exactly, sister. Willpower cannot be taught; it is ignited. And you, Galatea, have just been ignited."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (8)

Vanessa said:
"Carlos asked for you and wants to see you. If you like, I'll perform the operation you requested, which will erase his memories of you and his feelings for you. But, if you wish, we won't do anything else."

Diana remained silent for a few seconds. Her gaze drifted toward the horizon filtering through the laboratory window: a white, sterile sky, just like the place where she was standing. Then she slowly turned to Vanessa.
"What if he forgets?" she asked calmly. "What will remain of everything he's experienced, of everything he's felt?"

Vanessa, her face tired from hours of surgery, responded with the coldness of science:
"He'll be free. Without pain, without guilt, without that bond that ties him to you. Sometimes forgetting is an act of mercy."

Diana sighed and looked down at her clean boots, remembering the accident, the sheen of the vitreous humor, the blood, and Charles's anguish.
"I don't know if I want to be merciful," she said. "Maybe I want to be fair."

Galatea, sitting beside her, looked at her empathetically.
"The justice of the heart doesn't always coincide with that of gods or men," she whispered.

Vanessa took a step forward, pragmatic.
"Decide it, Diana. He's still asleep, but he'll wake up soon. If you command me to forget, I will. If not, he'll leave here remembering everything."

Diana raised her face, and her eyes mingled sadness, love, and unbreakable strength.
"No. Let him remember everything," she said finally. "I don't want my story to be erased from his soul as if it had never existed. If it must hurt, let it hurt. If he must learn, let him learn."

Vanessa stared at her, like someone watching an experiment escape the laboratory's control.
"You know that could bring you back together."

"Or it could set us both free," Diana replied. "Freedom, even when it hurts, is still freedom."

Galatea nodded silently, understanding the depth of those words: the fire of will, once again, glowing in Diana's eyes.

Diana hugged Galatea with an enigmatic smile.
"You will have pets that will be loyal to you," she told her. "Spirits that will follow your voice and share your games, out of servitude, and for love of your strength."

Galatea looked at her in surprise.
"Pets?"

"Yes," Diana replied, "because every creator needs beings to play with, to test their power, and to discover that mastery lies not in subduing, but in guiding with will."

Galatea lowered her gaze, slowly understanding the meaning of those words: leadership, complicity, and the awakening of the inner fire that had once lain dormant in her soul.

Diana said, "I always sleep at home, and it's getting dark. How will I get home?"

Galatea, still moved by Diana's words, looked at her with tenderness and concern.
"You're weak," she replied. "You shouldn't walk alone."

Vanessa intervened in a calm but firm tone:
"I can call a vehicle to take you. You don't need to exert yourself."

Diana gently shook her head, her gaze lost for a moment in the orange glow of the sunset that entered through the hospital window.
"No," she whispered. "I always walk home. It's my custom. Every step reminds me of who I am, every shadow on the road greets me."

Galatea took a step toward her.
"Then we'll go with you," she said. I won't let you walk alone this time.

Diana looked at her with gratitude, but also with quiet pride.
"If you come, it won't be to protect me," she told her, "but to accompany me. Because my home is not far away... and perhaps, along the way, we will find what we haven't yet understood."

The sun was descending behind the trees, bathing their faces in the last light of day. The air smelled of earth and promise.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (9)

Vanessa said:
"I just received word that Carlos just woke up and asked for you. What will you do?"

Diana remained silent for a few seconds. Vanessa's question hung in the air, heavy, as if the sunset itself were holding its breath.
Finally, Diana answered in a low but firm voice:
"If he woke up... it means there's still a bond between us, even if he's hurt."

Galatea watched her carefully, without interrupting.

"I can't run away from what happened," Diana continued. "But I also don't want to hurt him anymore. If I go, it will only be to look at him one more time... to see if his soul still recognizes me, even without words."

Vanessa nodded slowly.
"Then I'll escort you to his room," she said. "No one else will enter."

Diana took a deep breath and stood up. Her steps were slow, almost ceremonial. Every sound of her heels on the hallway floor echoed with the weight of destiny. Galatea followed her silently.

When they reached the door, Vanessa stopped her for a moment.
"He's conscious, but weak," she warned. "He doesn't know you're here yet."

Diana nodded. Her gaze held a mixture of fear, tenderness, and determination.
"Then I'll open the door," she whispered. "Whatever must happen, will happen."

Diana approached slowly, with a firm step, her silhouette silhouetted against the evening light streaming through the window. She stood beside the bed where Carlos lay, the bandage still fresh on his head, his face serene between tiredness and calm, his skin still pale and his eyes tired. The evening light filtered through the window, gilding the room with a warm, silent splendor.
Diana, standing beside the bed, watched him silently for a few seconds. Her shadow covered him completely, and for a moment it seemed as if time stood still. Diana searched Charles's face for a sign, a word, an objection... but he just looked at her with that mixture of surrender and trust that so disarmed her.
Then, without a word, with the calm and grace that characterized her, with the natural elegance of someone who knows how to command the space she occupies, Diana placed a hand on Charles's chest, feeling his still faint heartbeat beneath her palm. Then, with a smooth movement, she placed one knee on the bed and carefully climbed onto him, positioning herself over him; thus, each of her knees was on either side of his torso, straddling him and carefully positioning herself.
His body remained upright, his silhouette silhouetted against the light coming in through the window. From that position, she silently watched him from above, with a serene but firm expression, as if that gesture were more than a physical approach: a form of connection, of restrained dominance, but also of care. It was a simple gesture, but full of meaning: she was still the same strong and indomitable woman, although now her gaze held a shadow of compassion.

Carlos barely moved, only letting out a sigh that faded into the darkness. Diana stood erect, her face firm, her gaze deep, observing his breathing and the slight trembling of his chest beneath hers.

The contrast was stark: he, prone and vulnerable; she, upright, powerful, almost majestic, as if the scene itself belonged to her. There were no words, only the silent echo of a strange connection between compassion and dominance, between guilt and consolation.

Diana remained motionless, watching Charles's sleeping face. The gentle rise and fall of his chest marked a calm, almost hypnotic rhythm. She felt beneath her the pulse of the life she had nearly lost, and a shudder of responsibility ran through her body.
She looked at him with a mixture of tenderness and gravity.
“My horse…” she thought, not as one names a servant, but as one acknowledges a soul that has chosen to serve and suffer for love.
In her mind, Carlos's figure wasn't just that of a man, but that of a loyal being who, without fully understanding, accepted the weight of his destiny alongside her.
“You carry my shadow, my guilt, my decisions…” she thought, “and yet you follow me, without complaining, without hating.”
She looked down at her own hands, so firm when they tamed, so gentle when they cared.
“Am I the one who guides you, or are you the one who holds me?” she wondered. Because, although she knew she was strong, she understood that part of her strength came from those who loved and obeyed her.
Vanessa's voice echoed in her memory, cold and analytical, speaking of experiments, bionic eyes, and control. But there, on Carlos's warm chest, science faded. Only humanity remained, devotion, the invisible bond between the rider and the ridden.
Diana took a deep breath. The sun was fading behind the hills, and a certainty formed in her mind:
"I must protect him from me, for he does not know how far his love can take him, nor how far my will can drag him."

Diana, in an unconscious impulse, felt her body following the imaginary rhythm of a horseback ride. It wasn't a physical movement, but an internal echo, a heartbeat that reminded her of her strength, her independence, and her mastery over destiny.
"Putucum, putucum... my horse," she murmured, evoking the sound of hooves on the earth.
She didn't say it as a mockery, but as an affirmation of her spirit: the woman who moves forward, who rides through life without looking back.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (10)

Carlos opened his eyes slowly, and when he saw her, he was moved, and a faint smile spread across his face.
"Love Diana..." he whispered in a faint voice. "It's you, the same as always... and different at the same time."

Diana rode gently on his chest, with dominance and tenderness.
"Perhaps I am. Perhaps for the first time I'm beginning to understand what it means to care. You were brave," she added. "And although I can't change what happened, I can be here now, with you."

Carlos closed his eyes, letting the sound of her voice envelop him.
"Then stay," he murmured. "Not out of guilt, but because of what we still are."

Carlos spoke in a faint voice, but his gaze didn't waver.
"I saw you..." he said. "You were on top of me, walking on my chest, you looked down at me and smiled." Then... I felt the heel of your boot poke into my eye, or maybe it was my fault, or the memory of everything that had happened.

Diana lowered her gaze, unsure whether to respond. She remained silent, directing her gaze at the high heels of her boots. She remembered how, hours earlier, Vanessa had hinted at that dangerous insinuation while intently observing the metallic shine of her high heels. Then, without giving it much thought, she had played with them: moving them, making them tap gently on the floor, listening to the dry sound that resonated like an echo of power and defiance.
At the time, it was just a game, an assertion of her strength, of her control. She had never imagined that the slight vibration of that gesture—so hers, so innocent—would precede an actual accident, a moment of guilt that now weighed on her conscience.

He continued:
"I didn't feel pain, but a kind of clarity." As if she finally understood that you and I aren't enemies, but two forces that crossed at the exact moment to break something... and rebuild it.

She took a deep breath.
"Carlos, I didn't mean to..."

"I know," he said, interrupting her. "It wasn't your heel that hurt me, Diana. It was what it symbolizes: your strength, your will... and my weakness before you."

Carlos looked at her with a half smile and said softly, "And now you're on top of me again."

Diana watched him, without moving, noticing the slight trembling in his hands.
"It's not the same," she replied. "Before, there was fear and guilt. Now, there's only care."

He nodded, with a hint of irony and tenderness.
"Then let me imagine," she whispered, "that you're not dominating me, but protecting me."

Diana placed a hand on Carlos's chest.
"Perhaps it's the same, Carlos." Sometimes caring is also a way of mastering fate, of not letting pain decide for us.

He closed his eyes, allowing himself to be enveloped by her voice.
"Then... stay like that for a moment longer."

And the silence that followed was more eloquent than any words: a pact between two wills that had learned not to hurt each other, but to understand each other.

Diana remained motionless for a few seconds, silently observing him. The serenity of Charles's face contrasted with the turmoil still swirling within her.
His breathing was slow, deep, as if his body had finally found rest after so much turmoil.
Diana, still riding on Charles's chest, thought:
"Sleep... and let your mind be free of me, of all this. I don't want to be your wound, but your rest."

Gently, she brushed a lock of hair from his forehead and let it fall between her fingers. Then, without making a sound, she slowly sat up and covered him with a sheet.

For a few more moments, she stood looking at him with a silent affection, a mixture of guilt and tenderness. Then she turned, walked to the door, and before leaving, whispered,
"Goodbye, Carlos..."

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (11)

As she left the room, the hallway seemed longer and quieter than before. Diana took a few steps forward and, in a barely restrained voice, said:
"My high heels..."

Vanessa lowered her gaze, her tone almost a sigh:
"It was an accident, Diana. Just an accident."

Before she could respond, Galatea approached with a serene stride, wrapped Diana in a hug, and gently covered her mouth with her hand.
"Please," she said with firm sweetness, "not another word."

Time seemed to stand still. In the silence, Diana felt the warmth of Galatea's embrace and understood that, at least for now, silence would be her only absolution.

Diana looked toward the window: the sky had turned a deep red, a prelude to dusk.
"It's late, Vanessa," she said in a firm voice, recovering her characteristic poise. Prepare someone to accompany me and carry me on their shoulders. In the meantime, I'll prepare my whip and spurs.

Vanessa watched her silently. She knew that order wasn't literal, but a way of stating that Diana wouldn't return alone, that she needed support, although she would never admit it with those words.

Diana took her boots, carefully brushed off the day's dust, and adjusted the spurs on her heels. Each metallic click resonated like an echo of her determination.
"Ready," she murmured, without looking at anyone. "May the road find me awake."

Galatea took a step forward, resolute.
"I'm going with you," she said in a firm voice.

Diana looked at her calmly and shook her head, a half-smile playing on her lips. "Not this time," she replied. "Today I'll go with whip and spurs."

The words fell like a talisman on the air; There was less threat than determination in them: a declaration of intent, that the journey would be both ceremony and test. Diana fixed her gaze on Vanessa, who for a moment looked smaller than the woman before her. A practical, rather than moral, fear crossed the scientist's face: this demanded strong hands, not gentleness.

Wasting no time, Vanessa stepped back, picked up her phone, and, her voice slightly trembling, called two burly men she knew and trusted. "I need you here now," she said. "It's for safety and on Diana's orders."

The men arrived soon, serious and obedient. Vanessa explained briefly and straightforwardly: they would escort and carry Diana home in turns; they would heed her instructions and ensure her well-being. Diana mechanically adjusted the spurs on the heels of her boots, checked the firmness of the riding crop hanging at her side, and without further ado, prepared to leave.

The scene had something of a ritual about it: it wasn't humiliation or offense, but rather the organization of a return marked by the solemnity of what had happened. Galatea and Vanessa remained by her side—one as a companion, the other as a guarantor of logistics—while the two men awaited instructions, ready for the road to find her and take her home.

Diana, with the serenity of someone in control of every action, took the bridles and saddles and prepared her two mounts. Her hands, firm and precise, adjusted the straps, the girth, and the saddle, while the faint clink of metal broke the evening silence.
When she finished, she stepped back and surveyed her work: the two men, now transformed into beasts of burden, were ready. With natural elegance, Diana placed a foot in the stirrup, gracefully pushed off, and sat upright on one of them. Her figure, haughty and serene, was silhouetted against the warm light of the twilight.
With a light touch of her spurs and a gentle flick of her wrists, Diana led her mounts. They advanced rhythmically along the road toward her home, she leading with absolute mastery, her gaze fixed straight ahead, while the sound of their footsteps echoed across the land like an ancient echo.
It was a scene of restrained power: the rider and her human horses advancing in perfect synchrony, as if Diana's will flowed directly from her mind to her hands, and from her hands to the reins, and from the reins to the bodies that obeyed them.
Thus, riding through the gloom and the fire of the setting sun, Diana returned to her home: majestic, silent, master of herself and the destiny she led.

Diana settled herself onto her mounts, adjusted the reins in her gloved hands, and straightened her back. The riding crop rested on her right thigh, ready to set the pace for them to advance. With a light click of her tongue and a press of her spurs, she gave the signal to start.
The movement began smoothly: the bodies beneath her responded instantly, advancing in perfect coordination, obeying the commands conveyed by the reins and the firm voice of her rider. Diana maintained absolute control—her whip traced a compass in the air, signaling direction or correction with restrained elegance.
Every gesture she made was measured: a slight inclination of her torso was enough to guide her course, a touch of her spurs was enough to adjust her pace. The metallic sound of the spurs accompanied the rhythm of her movements, a clear sound that mingled with the echo of her footsteps on the ground.
Diana didn't need to speak; her dominance was expressed in the harmony between her body and the reins, between the precision of her commands and the perfect obedience of those who carried her. She advanced haughtily, the whip in one hand, the reins in the other, the sun reflecting off the metal of her boots and the determined look in her eyes.
Thus, guided by the pulse of her will, Diana masterfully guided her mounts until the road ended at the door of her house. There she halted the march with a tug on the reins and a touch of her spurs, a gesture of dominance and grace that closed the journey with the same authority with which it had begun.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (12) – The Silent Ride

At the door of their house, Diana's stepson was waiting for her with visible concern. When he saw her arrive, his expression lit up with relief and joy. He ran toward her, stretching out his arms.
"Mom!" he exclaimed excitedly. "You had me so worried."

Diana smiled tiredly and tenderly.
"I'm fine, it was just a long day," she said, as she rode on his shoulders, and he entered the house with respect and care.

His gesture was a mixture of affection and devotion; his gaze reflected the deep respect he felt for this woman who, with a firm step, always dominated the world around her.

Diana rode on her stepson's shoulders, silently stroking his head.

Her stepson, who had held back his tears all day, having her on top of him, finally broke down and began to cry.

"Last night I saw you with Carlos," she said in a trembling voice. "Then he left, and I couldn't find you... I thought you had left too, with him."

Diana looked at him with a mixture of surprise and tenderness. Her expression, firm as always, softened.
"No, darling," she replied calmly. "I'm here. I never left."

He nodded, wiping away his tears as she placed her hands on his head, conveying calm and reassurance.

Diana looked at him with a questioning, but not harsh, gaze. There was a firm tone in her voice, the same one she used when she wanted real answers.
"You saw me with Carlos last night," she said. "Tell me, what did you see me doing with him... and why are you so afraid that I might run away with him?"

The boy lowered his gaze, breathing heavily.
"I don't know..." he replied in a whisper. Just... I saw you outside the house with him, and then I heard he left for work in the city. I looked for you, but I couldn't find you. I thought... that maybe you too...

"What about me?" she asked, leaning her face toward him, not looking away.

"That you had gone with him," he finally answered, almost whispering. "That you had chosen him, the way you sometimes choose to leave everyone when you no longer want to look back."

Diana watched him in silence for a few seconds. Then she sighed.
"No, boy. I didn't choose to go with anyone," she said calmly. "Sometimes circumstances get out of hand... but I'm still here."

Diana gently caressed her stepson's face. The warmth of his skin and the trembling of his lips revealed more than he dared to say.
Silently, she thought,
"Maybe he saw me with Carlos... maybe he saw us kissing. I know I made a mistake, and he doesn't deserve to bear that burden. I must protect him, I must save his pure soul from what he doesn't understand and shouldn't understand."

For a moment, her fingers lingered on his cheek, and her eyes filled with a sad tenderness.
"I can't let his innocence be lost because of my choices," she thought. "What I did was a mistake, but he can still see the world without shadows."

Rided by Diana, he continued walking through the house, his steps slow but firm, holding her as if he were carrying something sacred. Diana, from her elevated position, sensed in every movement the sincerity of his devotion. There were no words, only the murmur of the night air and the gentle touch of their breaths.

She felt the weight of the day dissolve in that silent communion. His every step was a gesture of love, a reminder that he was still there, loyal, willing. She, motionless, riding on his shoulders, watched him tenderly, understanding that in that obedience there was no submission, but a pure form of affection and trust.
"He trusts me more than I deserve," she thought, and closed her eyes. "And I... must learn to be worthy of that trust."

So, they advanced together through the darkness of the home: he, the one riding, walking firmly, though exhausted.
She, above him, covering him with her silhouette, her weight, and her presence, as if she were wrapping him in an invisible cloak.
There were no words. Only the soft creaking of the floor beneath their steps and the murmur of the wind that came in through the half-open window.

Every movement was a silent promise:
He, the horse, held her with his body.
She, the rider, rode him, protecting him with her soul.

They advanced like this, united by something deeper than obedience or guilt, as if a new form of redemption were woven between them.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (13)

Shortly after midnight, Diana's cell phone vibrated. It was a video call.
"Good morning, Diana," said Galatea's voice, clear and firm.

"Beautiful girl! How are you?" Diana replied, sitting up sleepily, yet alert.

"Fine, thank you," Galatea replied. "I've reviewed the recordings, and while it seems Vanessa manipulated you, you were also an active part in the accident... and, I must say, you enjoyed it."

Surprised, Diana frowned.
"Did Vanessa order you to call me?" she asked cautiously.

"No," Galatea replied, her voice calm but firm. "You awakened my free will, remember?"

Diana leaned back again, thinking about the strength she had awakened in Galatea and how, sometimes, one's own will could surprise even those who thought they were in control.

Galatea continued in a firm, measured voice:
"In the middle of the road, while Vanessa and you were talking beside the motorcycle, Vanessa, looking at your high heels, said, "Or an accident could happen."

Diana nodded, clearly remembering the scene:
"I remember," she replied, with a hint of unease and curiosity.

Galatea smiled slightly, her eyes reflecting a glimmer of understanding:
"You replied, 'An accident? Don't forget, Sister, that accidents are sometimes guided by invisible hands."

Galatea bowed slightly, her intense gaze fixed on Diana:
"Sister, your heels, your gestures, even your smile... everything speaks of authority. But with that power comes responsibility. It's not just your desire, but also the effect you have on others."
Diana took a deep breath, feeling the weight of truth in those words. Her eyes scanned her boots, remembering how each step had marked the earth and how each movement had influenced Vanessa and the men around her.
"I know," she said. "Willpower is not a game. My every act has consequences. Even accidents are echoes of our decisions, visible or invisible."
Galatea smiled with pride and a touch of solemnity:
"Exactly. And don't forget, sister, that feminine will has a fire of its own, a power that is not measured by brute force, but by how it imprints itself on those around us. Obedience, respect, even submission, spring from that energy."
Diana closed her eyes for a moment, remembering Carlos's gaze, Vanessa's reverence, and the men's trembling at her heels and her presence.
"Then," she whispered, "I must learn to guide him, to not let the game turn into harm. My power is not only mine; It's a commitment to those around me.
Galatea nodded solemnly:
"Yes, sister. That is the difference between strength and conscious mastery. Today you saw its effect; tomorrow, you will be the master of your own fire."
And together they remained silent for a moment, letting the night and the magic of their wills weave an invisible thread between them, uniting power, responsibility, and the promise of wisdom.

Diana closed her eyes for a moment, recalling the feeling of control and power she had experienced in that moment, aware that the line between intention and chance could be as thin as the edge of her heels.

Galatea continued, her voice tinged with wonder and admiration:
"Diana, you lowered your gaze to your high heels, moving them elegantly over the earth, leaving perfect footprints."

Diana smiled with a hint of pride, remembering the feeling of each step, the way the weight of her body and the edge of her heels dictated an almost hypnotic rhythm. Each footprint was not just a mark on the ground, but a symbol of presence and dominance.
"Yes," Diana said softly, as if speaking to herself. "Every step, every movement, has its intention. They are not mere accidents."

Galatea nodded, recognizing the mastery in that gesture:
"Your high heels didn't just walk; they imposed your will."

Diana closed her eyes for a moment, relishing the memory of absolute control, aware that even the most delicate movements could become acts of power.

Galatea continued in a deep, almost reverent voice:
"And as you moved your high heels with such precision and elegance, Vanessa couldn't help but fix her gaze on them. Every step, every subtle tap on the ground, was a silent message of your control."

Diana clearly remembered how Vanessa tensed, how her eyes followed the sway of the high heels, and how, unconsciously, her attention was captivated.
"I know," Diana replied, her smile barely perceptible. "It was no coincidence." It was the combination of our will and that which is unseen, of the invisible hands you mentioned before.

Galatea nodded, with a gleam of admiration:
"Yes, sister. Your dominion manifested not only over the land and the motorcycle, but also over those around you. Even Vanessa, an expert in control and manipulation, fell under the influence of your presence."

Diana tilted her head, aware of the fine line between intention and consequence, and thought:
"Every gesture, every heel, every glance has its weight. Today, the magic of my will became visible to the world."

The Discoveries (14)

Galatea bowed slightly, her intense gaze fixed on Diana:
"Sister, your high heels, your gestures, even your smile... everything speaks of authority.

Even accidents are echoes of our decisions, seen or unseen."

Galatea smiled proudly and with a touch of solemnity:
"Exactly. And don't forget, Sister, that the feminine will has a fire of its own, a power that is not measured by brute force, but by how it imprints itself on those around us. Obedience, respect, even submission, spring from that energy."

Diana closed her eyes for a moment, remembering Carlos's gaze, Vanessa's reverence, and the men's trembling at her high heels and her presence.
"Then," she whispered, "I must learn to guide him, to not let the game become a harm. My power is not mine alone; it is a commitment to those around me."

Galatea spoke in a calm but firm voice:
"As you played with your high heels and made perfect footprints on the ground, you said, 'If an accident happens, Vanessa, I will make sure the ground remembers who caused it.'"

Diana closed her eyes, remembering the sensation of each movement, the way her heel touched the ground with almost ritualistic precision. Her gesture wasn't just play, but an act of presence and control, conscious or unconscious.

Galatea continued, her gaze fixed on Diana:
"And the accident happened. Your high heel left a perfect imprint in Charles's eye socket."

A heavy silence fell over them. Diana swallowed, remembering the exact moment: the shine of the heel, Charles's disbelief, and the inevitability of the consequence. The magic of will, she thought, doesn't distinguish between playful intent and reality.
"It was an accident," Diana said, her voice faint. "I never meant for it to happen."

"Yes, it was an accident, but your will led the way," Galatea replied softly. "And now you know that even the most delicate gestures can alter reality. Every step you take, every footprint, has an effect on those around you."

Diana bowed her head, meditating:
“My heels are not just ornaments; they are weapons and tools of power. I must guide my fire wisely, for even a game can become destiny.”

Galatea asked:
“Who did you think of as, wearing your high heels, you left perfect footprints on the ground, after Vanessa's suggestion about the accident?”

Diana inhaled deeply, remembering every moment, every movement of her heels on the earth. Her gaze drifted for a moment into space as Galatea waited for her answer.
“I thought of him,” Diana finally said, her voice calm but charged with emotion. “Of Charles. Of his presence, his obedience, and his vulnerability. It wasn't my intention to harm him, but rather… to ensure that my will and my power were present, even in a game.”

Galatea watched her closely, understanding the complexity of intention and consequence:
"So as you played with the high heels, as you made those perfect footprints, your mind was focused on the connection, on the bond you share with him."

Diana nodded, lightly touching the toe of one of her heels:
"Yes. Every footprint I left, every tap on the ground, was a reminder of my control, but also of my care. My will isn't directed only to impress or dominate; it's directed to protect, to guide. Even if magic transforms playfulness into accident."

Galatea smiled softly:
"That is the power of fire that Aphrodite gave you: will, domination, but also responsibility. Learning to balance the two is true mastery."

Diana closed her eyes for a moment, feeling the weight and lightness of her own magic, aware that every heel, every movement, carried with it a message that only she could fully control.

Re: Diana

The Discoveries (15)

Galatea looked at her intensely, her voice firm but without reproach:
"It was an accident, it's true, but Vanessa and you wanted it."

Diana frowned, remembering the moment with Vanessa, the hint about the accident, and how, without thinking much about it, she had played with her high heels, moving them elegantly over the floor. Every tap, every footprint, had been charged with intention, even if disguised as play.
"It wasn't malice," Diana replied, her voice faint. "Just... curiosity and power, and maybe a hint of fun. I didn't think the consequence would be real."

Galatea nodded, softening her expression:
"Magic and will don't distinguish between play and desire. When you and Vanessa let the thought float, reality accommodated itself to that intention. Even accidents obey invisible hands when the fire of will is there."

Diana looked down at her high heels, delicately touching the toe of one, remembering the perfect imprint she had left on Charles.
"So... even what seems accidental bears our signature," she whispered. "I must learn to control my fire and guide my power responsibly, without letting the play turn into harm."

Galatea put an arm around her, with a gesture of complicity and teaching:
"Exactly, sister. Mastery lies not in avoiding magic, but in directing it with intention and awareness. Learning that is your true apprenticeship."

Galatea looked at her, both firmly and gently, like someone who knows how to read the secrets of another soul:
"You thought of Charles and his eye as you made the perfect imprints of your high heels."

Diana closed her eyes for a moment, remembering how her mind had traveled to him, how his image had floated through her thoughts as she moved her high heels across the floor. Every blow, every footprint, was more than a game: it was a reflection of her control, her power, her awareness of the other's fragility.
"Yes," Diana replied, her voice calm. "I thought it. I felt it. It wasn't malice; it was... care and protection mixed with my curiosity. I wanted to know if my presence, my will, could touch him even without direct intent to harm."

Galatea nodded slowly, letting Diana continue her thoughts:
"Magic and intention are never separate, Diana. Even in the slightest play, will leaves its mark. And you left a perfect imprint, conscious or not, on the one you care about."

Diana looked down at her heels, gently touching the tip of one, as if acknowledging the dual nature of her power: delicate in appearance, yet capable of altering realities.
"I must learn to measure my strength," she whispered. "Even the most innocent game can have profound consequences."

Galatea hugged her with complicity and guidance:
"Exactly, Sister." Your fire and your will are powerful; knowing how to control them and guide them with awareness is true mastery.

Galatea approached Diana with a faint smile, her eyes twinkling with complicity:
"Now both of Carlos's eyes are bionic," she said. "You can stamp the bottom of your high heels over them; they won't break."

Diana looked at her high heels with a flash of amusement and admiration; the idea of their power combined with the security of technology gave her a feeling of absolute control, without guilt or fear of unexpected consequences.
"So even the fragile can become indestructible," Diana whispered, almost to herself. "But respect and intention are still the key."

Galatea smiled wider, as if acknowledging that the lesson had been understood:
"Exactly, sister. Strength is not only in the object or the magic, but in how you choose to use it. Will and care must always go together."

Diana gently stroked the tips of her heels, aware of the power she could wield, and also the responsibility she now knew how to carry: a balance between play, control, and protection. Then, she raised her gaze to Galatea and said firmly,
"I will."

Galatea nodded, satisfied, letting a smile spread across her face,
"Remember, sister, the intention is as powerful as the action. Every footprint you leave will be a reflection of your will and your care."

Diana took a deep breath, feeling the weight of her decisions and the power she held in her hands, in her feet, in every movement. With every step, every tap of her heel on Carlos's bionic base, she knew she could balance play, dominance, and protection, without harming, only marking her presence and conscious control.
"Then let's begin," Diana whispered confidently, as she adjusted the stance of her heels and prepared to act with precision.
