Hi folks,

as you all know Barak Obama will be sworn in as the new US president on coming Tuesday, Jan. 20th.
At this even there are a lot of stars planned, big names in the music industry will give open air concerts in Washington so this will be one of the best opportunities in a long time to see and give shoulder rides. Just wanted to remind you about this chance...

The high temp. for Tuesday is projected to be 33F (about 0 C). That's the high. Right now in D.C. it's 16F (minus 9C). I'm not making the trip - it's too cold for me to enjoy.

The ceremonies will take a couple of days of course, not only Tuesday, 20th.
If you are interested about the program you can take a look on the net, for example at this page:

I suppose there will be also several pictures and clips to discover on the net showing people on shoulders. So if you want to share sr material about it be creative and look also on the not so typical sites. Or use also general search terms on the big picture communities. Still if you are living close go and take your own camera or even try to get yourself some nice sr, I am sure it must be quite easy...
It might be cold but you will be witnessing moments that you will never get again.
