You all may have seen the sad sticky from Nick, that this website's scheduled to close on 11/01/2026. If it does close, what do you guys think about EVERYONE getting a bonus membership before then? If so, I feel that we'll all depart on a happy note and enjoy it while it's still active. It's like enjoying an exquisite dinner with desserts before the goodbye party's over.
If awarding it to everyone is too much, then perhaps bonus memberships can be awarded to those who vote "yes" in the poll, and to those who comment in this thread that they want to participate. If we depart, we might as well do it joyfully 🎈!

I think it would be a meaningful way to thank all the members who have used and supported this website over the years. As members, our presence and contributions have helped keep the website alive for so long. Also, many of us have been here for years and contributed but never had a chance to be bonus members. Like the other poster said, it would be a nice farewell gesture!
One perk of having a bonus membership is getting access to additional content, such as pictures and video clips that aren't accessible to standard members. Another perk is having "Bonus Member" displayed under your name whenever you post. It would be an honor to have that special title at least once before the site closes.
