Yes,folks,the Pony Express will be invading New York next month,from the 16-20th August.Would be great to meet up with any members of the Forum-riders or carriers.Hope that Central Park is a good place for shoulder riding!Do get in touch if interested.

the northern part of Central Park would be your best bet, away from the crowds of tourists found between 59th and 86th Streets

don't try the NYC public swimming pools -- s. r. has been banned the last eight or so years

Central Park concerts are hit or miss: sometimes it goes well, other times security will take down s. r.

there are some outdoor concert venues which permit s. r. however, for example the Williamsburg Park concert series; or events promoted by The Bowery Presents

Well.I missed one member,and another was on holiday,BUT..........I met Krisbean on Saturday,and we had a good riding session.He is the only member of the Forum I have met so far who weighs less than me,and so I didnt get tired as often!
New York is a lovely city,and I might well go back there.I have now met FIVE members of the Forum.Is this a record??????

Thanks,Wildfiregirl!As I only spent about half the money I took over to America,it gives me an excellent excuse to go back again!But I am eyeing up Australia as a possible holiday for next year!
