Shouldertaxi and I had our first meeting in 2008.  We see each other twice a year, so this will be meeting number 12. Usually it's a 3 or 4 day meeting. We have been joined by other guys on several meetings, from Germany as well. This year we hope to welcome a new participant from the UK.

No, unfortunately no women yet, only men. Would be interesting to meet women who are into this. Like to exchange my thoughts on the subject of shoulder riding from our point of view, as most females are riders like myself.

Frank! We had some more then 2 meetings each year in beginning! So this is the 15th time we meet!

My first reaction to this information was joy. But pretty soon I found myself wondering, why such an event with "international" in its name, is so obscure; I was unable to find any info, or even a single mention on Google ...

Hi Misiulo,

It is obscure indeed. The word International has set you on the wrong foot apparently.

I'm Dutch, Shouldertaxi is Swedish, Ali2121 is British. If all goes well, we will meet with some guys from other fora. A Dutch guy, a Belgian guy and one or two Germans. The meeting will take place at my home (not the town square), but we will also travel to Germany and to Belgium to meet the other guys. All very international I would say.

Up to now it has been an all male thing. I don't need to tell you that the vast majority of members on this site (and other similar sites) is male. If you're looking for an international event in which male carriers engage with female riders, you're in for a disappointment.
